Un cop detectats els buits de coneixement, els informes d鈥橝TS acaben proporcionant recomanacions sobre com generar l鈥檈vid猫ncia necess脿ria. Dins les funcions de l鈥橝g猫ncia de Qualitat i Avaluaci贸 Sanit脿ries de Catalunya (AQuAS) es troben l鈥橝TS i la gesti贸 de l鈥檃cc茅s a la reutilitzaci贸 de les dades de salut a fi de generar coneixement per millorar la salut de la poblaci贸. Per tant, es considera que la realitzaci贸 d鈥檃quest tipus d鈥檈studis observacionals, que donaran resposta als buits de coneixement detectats, s鈥檋an de realitzar seguint processos estandarditzats i que suposin el desenvolupament d鈥檈studis d鈥檃lta qualitat. El present document, d鈥櫭簊 intern, pret茅n guiar en l鈥檈laboraci贸 d鈥檃quest tipus d鈥檈studis a l鈥橝QuAS a trav茅s de protocols, checklists i plantilles.En determinadas circunstancias, el proceso de Evaluaci贸n de Tecnolog铆as Sanitarias (ETS) acaba concluyendo que no hay evidencia suficiente o que 茅sta es de baja calidad. Una vez detectados los vac铆os de conocimiento, los informes de ETS acaban proporcionando recomendaciones sobre c贸mo generar la evidencia necesaria. Dentro de las funciones de la Ag猫ncia de Qualitat i Avaluaci贸 Sanit脿ries de Catalunya (AQuAS) se encuentran la ETS y la gesti贸n del acceso a la reutilizaci贸n de los datos de salud con la finalidad de generar conocimiento para mejorar la salud de la poblaci贸n. Por tanto, se considera que la realizaci贸n de este tipo de estudios observacionales, que dar谩n respuesta a los vac铆os de conocimiento detectados, se tienen que realizar siguiendo procesos estandarizados que supongan el desarrollo de estudios de alta calidad. El presente documento, de uso interno, pretende ser una gu铆a para la elaboraci贸n de este tipo de estudios en AQuAS a trav茅s de protocolos, checklists y plantillas.Under certain conditions, the process of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) ends up concluding that there is not enough evidence or that it is of low quality. Once the knowledge gaps have been detected, HTA reports end up providing recommendations on how to generate the necessary evidence. The functions of the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS) include HTA and the management of access to the reuse of health data with the aim of generating knowledge to improve the health of the population. Therefore, it is considered that the conduction of this type of observational studies, which will provide an answer to the detected knowledge gaps, should be carried out following standardized processes that involve the development of high quality studies. This document, for internal use, aims to guide the development of this type of studies in AQuAS through protocols, checklists and templates

    Methodological Frameworks and Dimensions to Be Taken Into Consideration in Digital Health Technology Assessment: protocol for a Scoping Review

Although the existing HTA frameworks are useful tools for the evaluation of a wide range of health technologies, more and more experts, organizations across the world, and HTA agencies are highlighting the need to update or develop specific methodological frameworks for the evaluation of digital health technologies in order to take into account additional domains that cover these technologies鈥 intrinsic characteristics. Objective: The purpose of our scoping review is to identify the methodological frameworks that are used worldwide for the assessment of digital health technologies; determine what dimensions and aspects are being considered; and generate, through a thematic analysis, a proposal for a methodological framework that is based on the most frequently described dimensions in the literature. Methods: The scoping review will be performed in accordance with the guidelines established in the updated statement of the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews). We will search for peer-reviewed and grey literature published between 2011 and the date of the search execution. The retrieved references will be reviewed in a single-blind manner by 2 independent authors, and their quality will be assessed by using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program tool. The ATLAS.ti software (Scientific Software Development GmbH) will be used for data extraction and to perform the thematic analysis. Results: The scoping review is currently (May 2022) in progress. It is expected to be completed in October 2022, and the final results of the research will be presented and published by November 2022. Conclusions: To our knowledge, no studies have been published to date that identify the existing methodological frameworks for digital HTA, determine which dimensions must be evaluated for correct decision-making, and serve as a basis for the development of a methodological framework of reference that health care systems can use to carry out this kind of assessment. This work is intended to address this knowledge gap of key relevance for the field of HTA.This research is framed within the budget of the work plan of the Spanish Network of Health Technology Assessment Agencies and Benefits of the National Health System

    Review of the evidence on the impact of school closures throught the evolution of the COVID19 pandemic

Els estudis realitzats a regions/localitzacions amb baixa incid猫ncia de casos on es va realitzar una obertura controlada dels centres educatius, es va observar que no implicava un augment en el nombre de casos a la comunitat. Tenint en compte que el tancament dels centres educatius ha suposat un impacte negatiu a la salut mental d'una poblaci贸 vulnerable com 茅s la inf脿ncia i l'adolesc猫ncia i que la reobertura dels centres educatius durant la pand猫mia (de forma controlada) no s'ha considerat el responsable principal de l'augment de casos a la comunitat, i d'acord amb les recomanacions d'ECDC i OMS-UNESCO, el tancament d'escoles s'hauria de considerar com la darrera mesura a implementar per controlar la pand猫mia per COVID-19 i tenir en compte factors com la situaci贸 epidemiol貌gica i l鈥檌mpacte d鈥檃ltres INF abans de posar en marxa el tancament d鈥檈scoles.El efecto concreto del cierre de escuelas no ha podido determinarse en la primera ola debido a la implementaci贸n solapada de otras intervenciones no farmacol贸gicas, del importante riesgo de sesgo de la mayor铆a de los estudios publicados y de los resultados contradictorios. Los estudios realizados en regiones/localizaciones con baja incidencia de casos donde se realiz贸 una apertura controlada de los centros educativos, se observ贸 que no implicaba un aumento en el n煤mero de casos en la comunidad. Teniendo en cuenta que el cierre de los centros educativos ha supuesto un impacto negativo en la salud mental de una poblaci贸n vulnerable como es la infancia y la adolescencia y que la reapertura de los centros educativos durante la pandemia (de forma controlada) no se ha considerado el responsable principal del aumento de casos en la comunidad, y de acuerdo con las recomendaciones de ECDC y OMS-UNESCO, el cierre de escuelas deber铆a considerarse como la 煤ltima medida a implementar para controlar la pandemia por COVID-19 y tener en cuenta factores como la situaci贸n epidemiol贸gica y el impacto de otras INF antes de poner en marcha el cierre de escuelas.The concrete effect of school closure could not be determined in the first wave due to the overlapping implementation of other non-pharmacological interventions, the significant risk of bias in most of the published studies and the contradictory results. In the studies conducted in regions/locations with low incidence of cases, where a controlled opening of educational centers was carried out, it was observed that it did not imply an increase in the number of cases in the community. Considering that the closure of schools has had a negative impact on the mental health of a vulnerable population, such as children and teenagers, and that the reopening of schools during the pandemic (in a controlled manner) has not been considered to be the main responsible for the increase of cases in the community, and in accordance with ECDC and WHO-UNESCO recommendations, school closures should be considered as the last measure to be implemented to control the COVID-19 pandemic. Other factors, such as the epidemiological situation and the impact of other NPIs, have to be taken into account before implementing school closures
