    "Hur attraherar vi rätt?" -En kvalitativ undersökning av hur sex svenska IT-konsultföretag använder sig av employer branding i rekryteringen av nya medarbetare.

    Undersökningen tog ansats i den bristkompetens som finns på dagens arbetsmarknad inom IT. Syftet med studien var därför att studera hur olika IT-konsultföretag använder sig av employer branding i rekryteringen av nya medarbetare. Ur detta kunde även diverse likheter och skillnader mellan företagen urskiljas. Då undersökningen grundades i en kvalitativ metod samlades data in ur nio semistrukturerade intervjuer på sex olika företag. Analysen av materialet gjordes genom att koda diverse teman och kategorier. Den generella slutsatsen som drogs var att företag ofta väljer att attrahera arbetssökande med mjuka värden. Mjuka värden sammanfattades med diverse teman som syftar till att fokusera på människor. De flesta företagen uttryckte även att fokus på deras employer brand infaller i det första personliga mötet med kandidaterna. Eftersom studien avgränsades till att endast undersöka företags externa employer branding är förslag på vidare forskning att även studera den interna aspekten av fenomenet.     Neutron-induced astrophysical reaction rates for translead nuclei

    Neutron-induced reaction rates, including fission, are calculated in the temperature range 1.d8 <T (K) < 1.d10 within the framework of the statistical model for targets with atomic number 83 < Z < 119 (from Po to Uuo) from the neutron to the proton drip-line. Four sets of rates have been calculated, utilizing - where possible - consistent nuclear data for neutron separation energies and fission barriers from Thomas-Fermi (TF), Extended Thomas-Fermi plus Strutinsky Integral (ETFSI), Finite-Range Droplet Model (FRDM) and Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov (HFB) predictions. Tables of calculated values as well as analytic seven parameter fits in the standard REACLIB format are supplied. We also discuss the sensitivity of the rates to the input, aiming at a better understanding of the uncertainties introduced by the nuclear input.Comment: 14 pages, 10 figures, 2 tables in paper, 2 in Annex and online tables example

    Measurement of the 240Pu(n,f) cross-section at the CERN n-TOF facility : First results from experimental area II (EAR-2)

    The accurate knowledge of the neutron-induced fission cross-sections of actinides and other isotopes involved in the nuclear fuel cycle is essential for the design of advanced nuclear systems, such as Generation-IV nuclear reactors. Such experimental data can also provide the necessary feedback for the adjustment of nuclear model parameters used in the evaluation process, resulting in the further development of nuclear fission models. In the present work, the 240Pu(n,f) cross-section was measured at CERN's n-TOF facility relative to the well-known 235U(n,f) cross section, over a wide range of neutron energies, from meV to almost MeV, using the time-of-flight technique and a set-up based on Micromegas detectors. This measurement was the first experiment to be performed at n-TOF's new experimental area (EAR-2), which offers a significantly higher neutron flux compared to the already existing experimental area (EAR-1).
