    The Palm Oil Supply Chain (POSC) is a series of companies dealing with materials or products derived from oil palm fresh fruit bunches. The chain is interdependent sequentially and cooperate in the control, management and improvement of the flow of products, money and information from the upstream side to the downstream side. The POSC consists of palm oil seed growers, farmers, traders, CPO factory, refinery factory, distributor/retailers, and consumers. The first party in the chain is the palm oil seed or seedling growers. These growers have a very important role for palm oil farmers because the quality of the seeds determines the quality of further fruits. The aims of this study are to evaluate the feasibility study of growing the seedlings, and measure the sensitivity of the factors to the profitability. By using modified Hayami method for the supply chain, the added value obtained is Rp5.950.227.861 which is 34,73% of the sales. The feasibility analysis calculation with an interest rate of 13.5%, shows the NPV of Rp 38.439.321.865, with the BEP of Rp 828.430.058, while ROI result 78,62%, Payback Periode value 1,27, Modified B/C Ratio 1,69, and IRR 78,33%

    Formulasi Nilai Tambah pada Rantai Pasok Minyak Sawit

    In palm oil supply chain (POSC) the smallholder farmers sell their fresh fruit bunch (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills through traders. Palm Oil Mills convert the FFB into crude palm oil (CPO). CPO is sold to the refinery, who converts CPO into frying oil and sends the product to the distributors. The distributors subsequently sell them to the consumers. Each member of the POSC will try to optimize its added value. The aim of this paper is to develop an added value formulation as a function of risk, investment and technology levels of each of the POSC member. To facilitate fair distribution of rewards a concept of added value utility based on rsk, investment and technology level was introduced. To optimize the added value distribution between the members the concept of stakeholder dialogue was used. The selling prices were negotiated between the actors until each reached a satisfactory value, which was ruled by the levels of optimum added value utility. This research is important because the developed model can facilitate a better formula to calculate the fair distribution of added values, therefore ensure its sustainability and improve the total supply chain added value.Keywords:Utility, Value Added, Palm Oil Supply Chain, Exponential FunctionAbstrakPada suatu rantai pasok agroindustri minyak sawit (RPMS), petani menjual tandan buah segar (TBS) ke pabrik CPO melalui pedagang/pemasok. Pabrik CPO merubah TBS menjadi CPO. CPO dijual ke refinery (pabrik minyak goreng), yang merubah CPO menjadi minyak goreng, dan menjualnya melalui distributor kepada para konsumen. Setiap anggota RPMS akan berusaha untuk mengoptimumkan nilai tambahnya masing-masing. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah menyusun formula perhitungan nilai tambah RPMS yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat risiko, tingkat investasi dan tingkat teknologi yang terkait dengan masingmasing pelaku rantai pasok. Untuk mengusahakan distribusi yang adil dari imbalan maka digunakan pendekatan stakeholder dialogue. Harga jual dinegosiasikan diantara para pelaku RPMS sampai didapat suatu nilai yang memuaskan semua pihak, yang ditentukan berdasarkan utilitas nilai tambah yang optimum. Penelitian ini penting karena model yang dikembangkan dapat memfasilitasi formula yang lebih baik untuk menghitung distribusi nillia tambah yang adil, sehingga akan dicapai keberlangsungan usaha dan meningkatnya nilai tambah total dari RPMS.Kata kunci: Utilitas, Nilai Tambah, Rantai Pasok Minyak Sawit, Fungsi Eksponensial

    AbstractThis research aims to reveal the profile, the percentage and to find out the causes of studentsā€™ difficulties in solving about rotational dynamics and statistic equilibrium. This Research conducted at MAN 2 Pontianak which subjects are 5 out of 20 students who were given the test. Data collected by giving the HOTS essay questions and interviews. The analysis data technic was Miles and Huberman. The results show that students' difficulties are divided into 5 according to the Heller problem solving stages. (1) The difficulty of visualizing the problems by students was 63.75%. Because they do not know how to draw a sketch on each question. (2) The difficulty of physics description by students was 21.25 %. Because they do not understand the problems given to the questions. (3) The difficulty of making the plan solution was 58,75%. Because they do not understand the concepts used in the questions. (4) The difficulty of executing the plan was 71,25%. Because they do not know the concepts used in the questions and do not understand the arithmetic operations. (5) The difficulty of checking and evaluating was 78,75%.     PURIFIKASI BIODIESEL MENGGUNAKAN DEEP EUTECTIC SOLVENT BERBASIS CHOLINE CHLORIDE DAN ETHYLENE GLYCOL

    Biodiesel merupakan pengganti bahan bakar diesel yang dihasilkan dari sintesa berbagai macam minyak tumbuhan atau hewan. Minyak jelantah merupakan salah satu contoh minyak tumbuhan yang dapat dijadikan bahan baku pembuatan biodiesel. Kandungan Free Fatty Acid (FFA) dalam minyak jelantah yang tinggi dipurifikasi menggunakan Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) agar tidak terjadi penyabunan pada tahap trans-esterifikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi rasio molar, waktu reaksi dan kecepatan pengadukan dari sintesa DES terhadap kandungan FFA pada pada biodiesel. DES dibuat dari campuran choline chloride dan ethylene glycol dengan rasio molar 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, dan 1:5, variasi waktu reaksi 15 menit dan 30 menit, dan variasi kecepatan pengadukan 200 rpm dan 300 rpm pada suhu 50oC. Kandungan FFA minyak jelantah bahan baku biodiesel sebesar 8,323%. Hasil penelitian dengan penurunan kadar FFA terkecil hingga 0,55% pada rasio molar 1:2, waktu reaksi 30 menit dan waktu pengadukan 300 rpm

Sebagai pemberdayaan pemuda karang taruna maka kami berupaya memberikan solusi untuk memperkuat potensi atau daya yang dimiliki oleh pemuda karang taruna menjadi semakin berdaya, kreatif, dan inovatif yang tidak saja mengenal pembuatan presentasiĀ  hanya bisa melalui microsoft powerpoint tetapi dengan bantuan software Sparkol Videoscribe yang menyediakan banyak animasi yang dapat dikembangkan dan diaplikasikan sesuai dengan ide-ide yang dimiliki pemuda karang taruna. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini adalah menambah wawasan peserta dengan menggunakan komputer yang didukung oleh jaringan internet maupun mode offline dimana aplikasi Sparkol VideoScribe dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembuatan presentasi berbasis video animasi.

    Investigation of the Music's Effect on Human Brain Activity Using Electrical Capacitance Volume Tomography Brain Scanner and Electroencephalo-Graphy

    In this study, ECVT brain scanner is used to measure electrical signals generated by the activity of the human brain to the audio response. The basic principle of ECVT is the permittivity distribution mapping of objects based on data measured capacitance. Data capacitance is a response to changes in the permittivity distribution in the brain which are affected by brain electrical potential. ECVT system consists of shaped-helmet sensors, 32-channel data acquisition system, and a computer for image reconstruction process and display the results of scanning. Based on the experimental results, the electrical signals from the electrode capacitance shows a clear distinction, when subjects listened to classical, pop and rock music. Furthermore, it also showed that the brain electrical signal of right hemisphere is higher than the left hemisphere when listening to music. These results from ECVT are consistent with the results of measurement using EEG. Analysis of the reconstructed image show that there is an increase in brain activity in the temporal lobe when listening to rock music when compared to the classical music. ECVT brain scanners can be used to observe the electrical activity of the brain that includes auditory activity
