Perturbative Matching of the NRQCD Heavy-Light Axial Current

A one-loop matching calculation between Lattice NRQCD and full QCD for the heavy-light axial current is described and the effects on f_B are discussed.Comment: Talk presented at Lattice '97, Edinburgh, July 1997. 3 LaTeX pages plus 2 postscript figures. Uses espcrc2.st

Semileptonic B Decays from an NRQCD/D234 Action

    Get PDF
Semileptonic B decays are studied on quenched anisotropic lattices using Symanzik improved glue, NRQCD heavy quark and D234 light quark actions. We employ constrained fits to extract ground state contributions to two- and three-point correlators. Results for the B --> pi, l nubar decay form factors are compared with previous lattice results. We find that our systematic errors (excluding quenching errors) are dominated by chiral extrapolation uncertainties.Comment: Lattice2002(Heavy quark physics

B Physics with NRQCD: A Quenched Study

    Get PDF
We present results on the spectrum of B mesons and heavy baryons, using a non-relativistic formulation for the heavy and a clover action for the light quark. We also discuss B meson decay constants and their dependency upon the heavy meson mass.Comment: 4 pages, uuencoded compressed postscript file, contribution to LATTICE 9

    QCD on 2+2 anisotropic lattices

    Get PDF
We discuss the implementation of QCD on 2+2 anisotropic lattices. Technical details regarding the choice of the action as well as perturbative and non-perturbative improvement are analyzed. The physical applications of the program are presented.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figure. Talk given by G. Burgio at Lattice02, MIT. To appear on Nucl. Phys. B (proc. Suppl.

Matching of the Heavy-Light Currents with NRQCD Heavy and Improved Naive Light Quarks

One-loop matching of heavy-light currents is carried out for a highly improved lattice action, including the effects of mixings with dimension 4 O(1/M) and O(a) operators. We use the NRQCD action for heavy quarks, the Asqtad improved naive action for light quarks, and the Symanzik improved glue action. These results are being used in recent heavy meson decay constant and semileptonic form factor calculations on the MILC dynamical configurations.Comment: 3 pages, 3 figures. Semi-leptonic decays heavy-light to heavy light

    Get PDF
We present results for the QCD matrix elements involved in semi-leptonic decays of B-mesons into pseudo scalar heavy light states. The application of NRQCD heavy quarks allows for quark masses around the physical b-quark. We investigate the dependence of the form factors on the external momenta and looked at the mass dependence at zero recoil. For the first time, results for radially excited decay products are presented.Comment: 3 pages LaTeX, 5 figures, Talk given at LATTICE99(Heavy Quarks), June 29th to July 3rd, 1999, Pisa, Ital

    Constrained fitting of three-point functions

    Get PDF
We determine matrix elements for B→DB \to D semileptonic decay. The use of the constrained fitting method and multiple smearings for both two- and three-point correlators allows an improved calculation of the form factors.Comment: Talk given at Lattice2001(heavyquark), 3 pages, 4 figure
