THE TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY (TFP) OF THE TRADE SECTOR IN IRAN
This article explores the important and effective components of the total factor productivity (Tfp) of the trade sector of Iran and estimates their effect in the recognized model by the annual data of the period of 1960-2004. First, we have estimated the function of the producing sector of the commerce to calculate the total factor productivity (TFP). Then we have calculated the index of the total factor productivity (Tfp) on the basis of the part of the factors of the production in the section of the devebpment. And at last, we have explored the key and determining factors of the of the total factor productivity of the section in the model of the related model. The results of this research show that the development of the capital stock per capita, the medium development the years of the education and the real exchange rate have the positive and meaningful effect on the total factor productivity, whereas the inflation rate has the negative and meaningful effect. It is important to say that the medium growth of the years of the education has the most positive effect on the total factor productivity (TFP) and the inflation rate has the most negative effect on the total factor productivity (TFp) of the section.the total factor productivity human capital, the inflation rate, the real exchange rate, the section of commerce, Iran
Invited Abstract: A Simulation Package for Energy Consumption of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) are becoming an integral part of the future
generation Internet. Traditionally, these networks have been designed with the
goals of traffic offload and the improvement of users' quality of experience
(QoE), but the energy consumption is also becoming an indispensable design
factor for CDNs to be a sustainable solution. To study and improve the CDN
architectures using this new design metric, we are planning to develop a
generic and flexible simulation package in OMNet++. This package is aimed to
render a holistic view about the CDN energy consumption behaviour by
incorporating the state-of-the-art energy consumption models proposed for the
individual elements of CDNs (e.g. servers, routers, wired and wireless links,
wireless devices, etc.) and for the various Internet contents (web pages,
files, streaming video, etc.).Comment: Published in: A. F\"orster, C. Minkenberg, G. R. Herrera, M. Kirsche

Adversarial Wiretap Channel with Public Discussion
Wyner's elegant model of wiretap channel exploits noise in the communication
channel to provide perfect secrecy against a computationally unlimited
eavesdropper without requiring a shared key. We consider an adversarial model
of wiretap channel proposed in [18,19] where the adversary is active: it
selects a fraction of the transmitted codeword to eavesdrop and a
fraction of the codeword to corrupt by "adding" adversarial error. It
was shown that this model also captures network adversaries in the setting of
1-round Secure Message Transmission [8]. It was proved that secure
communication (1-round) is possible if and only if .
In this paper we show that by allowing communicants to have access to a
public discussion channel (authentic communication without secrecy) secure
communication becomes possible even if . We formalize the
model of \awtppd protocol and for two efficiency measures, {\em information
rate } and {\em message round complexity} derive tight bounds. We also
construct a rate optimal protocol family with minimum number of message rounds.
We show application of these results to Secure Message Transmission with Public
Discussion (SMT-PD), and in particular show a new lower bound on transmission
rate of these protocols together with a new construction of an optimal SMT-PD
protocol
