This study aims to find out the description of the implementation of the supervision of the Principal in Elementary Schools. Principal supervision aims to assist teachers in improving their performance. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through: observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were school principals and elementary school teachers.     Educational accreditation qualifications in schools are the substantial part of education synchronous management. Synchronous management in the education unit can be based on the situation or condition of education at a certain period. This article aims to study of policy quality as the foundation of education in Indonesian’s policy quality by using the qualitative approach throught extensive literature, interviewing experts and personal experience. The situation or condition can be seen from the formation of policies and or the election of new leadership. 1) Merdeka Belajar is integrity and the result of policy, and there may be influence from the political elite as a means of fulfilling these situations and conditions. 2) In the management of basic, middle, upper and higher education units it is known as independent learning. 3) Freedom to learn is a reflection of the government in Era 4.0, which requires students to understand freedom as the actualization of human identity as a real human being, and not only freely expressing attitudes, thoughts, feelings and actions, but also free in accepting learning from all aspects of knowledge. 4) The actualization of Merdeka Belajarshould be based on student-centred learning, students as problem solvers, critical thingking, and decision maker.     The Implementation of Student Admission Based on Zoning in Indonesia : Problems, Challenges, and Solutions

    This research aims to analyze the problems that arise when implementing zoning as a method of student admission and find possible solutions. This study used the systematic literature review method with a qualitative approach. The data collection method used was documentation, namely examining documents in the form of books, literature, and scientific journals related to the topics written in this journal. Data was collected from reviewing the official website of eric.gov, Sinta, Scopus, and Garuda. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The result of the study showed some of the main problems in implementing zoning-based admissions. These include the problem of establishing fair and equitable zoning boundaries, enrollment procedures that often need to be more transparent, the accumulation of students in good schools in the zone, and the need for more awareness and active participation from parents. Several solutions can be considered to address these issues. Such as increased investment in education infrastructure development by the government and the implementation of a strict monitoring system for the admission process based on zoning, and the government also needs to strengthen schools in vulnerable zone areas with various quality and facility improvement programs. This policy will help provide a more inclusive and high-quality education for all students by analyzing and addressing the issues that arise when implementing zoning-based admissions

    Differentiated learning is a learning strategy that emphasizes accommodating individual student differences in the learning process. In the context of an independent curriculum, differentiated learning is an effective strategy to accommodate individual student differences. The purpose of this research is to provide a clearer and deeper understanding of differentiated learning as a form of implementation of the Independent Curriculum policy. The research method used in this study is a literature review. Data collection techniques include searching the internet for articles, books, slides, and information. The results of the study show that differentiated learning is a form of independent learning, which is a form of implementation of an independent curriculum that aims to give students freedom in learning according to their learning styles, interests, and ways of learning. By implementing differentiated learning, learning becomes meaningful for students because they are served according to their needs so that they are actively involved in learning and the goals of education can be achieved

    Based on the pre-survey in the field, it was illustrated that the performance of Padang City Public Middle School teachers was not optimal. This is thought to have something to do with the leadership of the school principal who is not yet good and the school climate is not conducive. Therefore it is necessary to do research to test the truth. This study aims to reveal the contribution of the principal's leadership and school climate to the performance of Padang City Public Middle School teachers. The hypotheses put forward in this study are: (1) principal leadership contributes to teacher performance, (2) school climate contributes to teacher performance, (3) principal leadership and school climate jointly contribute to teacher performance. The population in this study were all 1,099 public junior high school teachers in the city of Padang. The research sample was 220 people who were taken by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used is the rating scale and the Likert Scale model questionnaire which has been tested for its validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed using correlation and regression techniques.The r esults of the data analysis show that: (1) principal leadership contributes to teacher performance by 24.4%, (2) school climate contributes to teacher performance by 36.9%, (3) principal leadership and school climate together contribute to teacher performance by 51.6 %. The achievement level of the teacher performance score is 85.53% in the good category, and for school principal leadership is 87.65% in the good category while for the school climate 86.83 of the ideal score is in the conducive category. The findings above imply that the principal's leadership and school climate are two factors that can improve teacher performance, apart from other factors

    School-Based Management is an autonomous program that provides freedom for school management for residents within the school scope. Improving the quality of schools is the main goal of School Based Management or SBM. However, the success of implementing the mbs INI is influenced by all elements involved in implementing activities at school. The two most influential elements in every activity in the school are the principal and the class teacher in particular. For this reason, this research aims to find out how urgent the role of school principals and class teachers is in the successful implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in elementary schools. This research method is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature review. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is an interactive analysis technique. The results of this research show that the urgency of the role of the principal and class teacher is crucial to the success of SBM implementation. This is because the principal and class teacher play a very broad role in the implementation of all activities within the school. For this reason, good cooperation is needed between school principals and class teachers, as well as collaboration between these two elements and other elements within the school environment such as education staff and students at school. In addition to cooperation, order, discipline, two-way communication, evaluation of school programs, and competency development of teachers and students are also needed to support the successful implementation of SBM
