    “ENHANCING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS BY USING THE REVISED BLOOM’S TAXONOMY - THE COGNITIVE DOMAIN”

    We all know that Bloom’s Taxonomy consists of three domains of educational goals and objectives; (1) Cognitive Domain, (2) Affective Domain, and (3) Psychomotor Domain. The major idea of this taxonomy is the process of thought which educators expect from students to emerge based on the educational objectives from less to more complex. This paper is a discussion of theories suggested by education experts who have dedicated their excellent ideas in enhancing students’ thinking process by using Bloom’s Taxonomy in mainly the Cognitive Domain. The writer finally concludes that the levels of thinking processes in the Cognitive Domain(remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating) are in badly needed to be applied to enhance students’ critical thinking.Key words: Bloom’s taxonomy, cognitive domain, critical thinkin

    For many decades Banyumas has been a centre of coconut sugar production in Indonesia There are many aspects of the rural coconut industry in Banyumas that are worthy of further study such as production and distribution methods government policies and strategy relating to the coconut sugar industry as well as the role of extension The study found that rural coconut sugar industry in Banyumas Regency is very much a hereditary industry and today farmers still use the traditional processes for production In this regency there is a unique coconut sugar management model with some variants based on the agreements between coconut sugar farmer and the coconut tree owners The transparency of price creates a symbiosis of mutualism between the coconut sugar farmer and the warungs collectors Access to new media like mobile phones and the internet as well as the establishment of a cooperative have provided opportunities for coconut sugar farmers to expand into international markets Although this rural industry still faces some problems like low earnings and danger the coconut sugar farmers remain grateful for the income they earn and are dedicated to their profession Various extension programs have been implemented to improve the quality and quantity of coconut sugar produced in the region and safety measures have been introduced to protect farmers when tapping the neera coconut tree sa

    Anderson et al (2001) introduces the way to state educational objectives in the forms of a verb and a noun. The verb generally represents the intended cognitive process; that is, the kind of student’s behaviour to be developed, while the noun generally represents the kinds of knowledge to be expected and acquired by students; that is, the content in which this behaviour is to operate. This descriptive qualitative research aims to find out the kinds of knowledge acquired by students in the teaching of reading comprehension to SMA students. The data of the research is taken from the noun stated in the teachers’ questions and instructions which are then analyzed by using Anderson’s lists of knowledge dimension. The results show that acquired 46,15% of factual knowledge, 38,46% of conceptual knowledge, and 15.38%.of procedural knowledge. Keywords: educational objective, kinds of knowledge, reading comprehension skil

    The development of geothermal energy as a renewable power plant

    Geothermal energy is a sustainable and ecologically beneficial energy source, it is believed that Indonesia alone has 40% of the world's geothermal energy reserves of roughly 28.000 MW. The Indonesian government expects the geothermal power plant installed capacity to reach 10.000 MW by 2025. However, the installed capacity remained at 1.739 MW until 2014. Aside from that, the Indonesian government has made significant investments to expand the geothermal sector through different current rules. This research aims to determine the absorption of geothermal energy as an alternative to power generation and many elements of the associated hurdles, such as natural and human resources. In addition, this paper also creates new model parameters that significantly improve model performance. Analysis of system dynamics methods and modelling and simulation methods are used for fast and accurate results. According to a literature analysis done by collecting secondary data from journals and associated research publications, existing conditions are judged insufficient to meet the installed capacity of geothermal energy with a target of 3.458 MW in 2025 based on simulation results of forecasts through 2050. Factors impeding progress include the government's lack of coordination and implementation difficulties. Furthermore, because the financial sector was redirected to cope with the economic crisis, the pandemic scenario in 2020 was one of the impediments. Based on these criteria, the optimum solution was sought by expanding installed electricity capacity and raising the selling price of geothermal power with a target of 24.5% and electricity output of 13.263 GWh

    New Media Access and Use for Triggering the Farmers Capability Improvement in Central Java Indonesia

    The coconut sugar industry is a hereditary business in Banyumas. However, the low income of farmers, poor education, regeneration, and limited number of extension staffs, are some of the problems associated with its development in rural areas. Therefore an alternative strategy is needed to solve these problems to stay above the competitive and fast-growing market. This study, therefore, aims to determine the access and use of the new media to trigger farmers capability improvement. In-depth interviews and FGD were used to collect data from coconut sugar farmers, extension and cooperative staff, informal leaders, and government officers. Finding show that farmers have the freedom to access new media, though the access is varied based on socio-demographic characteristics. Following their experience in online activity, farmers conduct a social interaction with related parties to discuss the information obtained. Therefore, through this interactive process, farmers tend to realize their functions to improve their capability by obtaining new information, expanding their economic opportunity, affiliation, besides play and emotion

    Penulisan karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk setiap manusia memperoleh perlakuan yang sama, adil, dan merata dalam kehidupan kesehariannya didalam segi aspek apapun terlebih dalam dunia pendidikan. Dan juga menghapus ideologi patriarki yang mengaharuskan kedudukan laki-laki di atas perempuan. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, di dalamnya penulis mencoba menjabarkan apa saja  yang berkaitan dengan judul skripsi ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Fatima Mernissi memandang bahwa pendidikan adalah suatu tahap awal  dalam pendidikan Islam. Dimana orang tua berperan sebagai guru pertama di rumah. Materi bahan pembelajaran maupun pengetahuan agama, kebudayaan dan adat istiadat sosial. Dalam hal ini Fatima menjelaskan bahwa antara kaum perempuan dan laki-laki, keduanya adalah seorang pendidik dan peserta didik, mereka semua mempunyai kesempatan belajar yang sama karena mereka memilki tanggung jawab yang sama. Hal tersebut sudah terjadi pada zaman Rasul, beliau tidak memecah belah umatnya  hanya karena persoalan keagamaan dan keduniaan, seperti perkara sosial dan individual. Fatima memandang bahwa masalah perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan itu akan terus ada tetapi dalam batas-batas kewajaran dan tanpa menghilangkan aspek kebebasan hak asasi yang melekat pada dirinya, serta tanggung jawab hak asasi individu aupun sosial

    Digital business strategy for MSMEs in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic

    The Covid-19 pandemic has caused shifts and changes in consumer buying patterns. This is because the public has reduced outdoor interactions to reduce the spread of the pandemic and divert digital purchases. Therefore, MSMEs must adapt and condition the sale of their products and services in order to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation by using a digital business strategy. The purpose of this article is to describe the digital business strategies that can be carried out by MSMEs actors so that they can continue to survive and also become more responsive to changes in the business climate towards digitization during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The digital business strategies that can be carried out by MSMEs in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic are: (1) MSMEs must be able to connect with the digital business ecosystem, (2) Utilization of digital marketing in running a business and expanding market share in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, (3) Improving the quality of MSMEs products and services to build trust from consumers for business continuity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, (4) Building synergy with netizens who can make the products and services offered by MSMEs widely known by netizens and will make it easier for MSMEs to offer products quickly on social media. Finally, the digital business strategy for MSMEs in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is in line with government policies through the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs which always emphasizes the MSMEs digitalization development strategy

    Fenomena yang terjadi dewasa ini menunujukkan bahwa mayoritas perilaku keuangan remaja (generasi Z) dalam membelanjakan uangnya, mereka sulit untuk mengendalikan diri agar tidak membeli barang. Hal tersebut menjadi indikasi bahwa generasi Z cenderung memiliki perilaku keuangan yang konsumtif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin menguji dan menganalis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan sikap keuangan terhadap perilaku manajemen keuangan yang di mediasi oleh kecerdasan pada generasi Z di Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh generasi Z di Kota Malang dan teknik penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan tertentu dalam penarikan pada populasi untuk dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Patial Least Square (PLS) yang didasarkan pada pendekatan model persamaan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Literasi Keuangan memiliki pengaruh terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Generasi Z di Kota Malang secara positif dan signifikan, sikap keuangan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan pada Generasi Z di Kota Malang, Kecerdasan mampu memediasi pengaruh Literasi Keuangan terhadap Perilaku Manajemen Keuangan Generasi Z di Kota Malang secara positif signifikan, dan Kecerdasan mampu memediasi pengaruh Sikap Keuangan terhadap Perilaku Manajemen Keuangan Generasi Z di Kota Malang secara positif signifikan

    Analysis of the impact of financial knowledge, financial attitudes and personality on financial management behaviors in creative industries

    The creative industry in Indonesia currently has a positive contribution to the economy in Indonesia and is one of the driving forces for economic growth in Indonesia. The problem that often occurs in creative industries is their financial management behavior which is related to the lack of financial knowledge, financial attitudes and personality of creative industry players. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Financial Management Behavior of creative industry players in Malang Raya by relating the problems of financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and personality of the creative industry players. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with research subjects are creative industry players in Malang Raya with a sample of 60 creative industries. The method of data collection was done by interviewing, distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis in this study was carried out with the help of Smart PLS3 software by testing the outer model and inner model, after tabulating the data with the Excell software. The results of this study indicate that the financial management behavior of creative industry players in Malang Raya is quite good, only in the preparation of financial reports there are still many who have not done it. Meanwhile, financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and personality of creative industry players in Malang Raya are good. Other results of this study indicate that the financial attitudes and personality of creative industry players in Malang Raya have a significant positive influence on their financial management behavior. Meanwhile, the financial knowledge of creative industry players in Malang Raya does not have a significant influence on their financial management behavior. The variable that most dominantly influences the financial management behavior in creative industry players in Malang Raya is the personality variable of the creative industry players. These results indicate that the personality aspect is the dominant factor affecting the success of creative industry players in their financial management behavior
