    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS PADA MATERI SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL

    Masih banyak ditemukan peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematis pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik pada jenjang SMP kelas VIII. subjek penelitian dipilih peserta didik kelas VIII pada satu SMP di kabupaten Subang sebanyak 30 Peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak tiga soal kemudian di analisis dan di deskripsikan sesuai dengan kemampuannya utnuk pengkategorian peserta didik (kategori sedang, rendah, dan tinggi).  Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 4 peserta didik berada di kategori tinggi dengan persentase 13,34%, 19 peserta didik pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 63,33%, dan 7 peserta didik pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 23,33%. Sehingga, diperoleh kesimpulan mayoritas peserta didik memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang sedang sehingga belum memenuhi indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.   There are still many students who have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts in linear equation in two variables (LETV). Therefore, this study aims to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at the junior high school level of class VIII. The research subjects were selected by class VIII students at one junior high school in Subang district as many as 30 students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was in the form of a description of five questions, then analyzed and described according to their ability to categorize students (medium, low and high categories). The research data were then analyzed using the mean and standard deviation test. The results showed that 4 students were in the high category with a percentage of 13.34%, 19 students were in the medium category with a percentage of 63.33%, and 7 students were in the low category with a percentage of 23.33%. So, the conclusion is the majority of students have moderate ability to understand mathematical concepts so they do not meet the indicators of ability to understand mathematical concepts

    Evaluation of industrial work practice program in Vocational High School 1 Rejotangan

    This study aims to evaluate implementing the Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) program at the Vocational High School (VHS) of 1 Rejotangan. This type of research is evaluative with a descriptive qualitative method using the CIPP model. The population of this study was 15 students involved, five work of world instructors, 21 teacher councils, and the headmaster of VHS of 1 Rejotangan. Data collection techniques use interviews and observations. Interviews are conducted openly and behind closed doors. The interview was conducted with the headmaster of VHS of 1 Rejotangan. The observations made by the researchers aimed to capture data on pre-employment activities, sincerity, and cooperation of participants and instructors during the activity. The results of this study are (1) synchronization of the joint curriculum to the world of work at the evaluation stage of the context of the VKS of 1 Rejotangan industrial practice program. At this stage, (1) the signing of an MOU between the world of work schools, a student readiness plan (competency mapping), and a placement plan (world of work Placement Mapping); (2) input evaluation obtained information that a cooperative organization was formed. The cooperative organization between schools and the business world and industry in the industrial practice program has two aspects: departmentalization and division of labor. The division of labor comprises principals and teachers from the business/industrial world. Meanwhile, departmentalization consists of mapping students. Place students in existing competencies and an appropriate world of work; (3) process evaluation, a collaboration between schools and the world of work for student development, is flexible and consistent with each school's policies; (4) product evaluation.     Numeracy-Ability, Characteristics of Pupils in Solving the Minimum Competency Assessment

    Mathematics is a subject closely related to everyday problems; the low PISA scores from all fields have made the government make breakthroughs to improve literacy and numeracy skills through the AKM. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of numeracy skills in solving AKM problems. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological design. The subjects of this study used one mathematics teacher and three eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura Sukoharjo for the 2021/2022 academic year. Using a purposive sampling technique in taking the subject, this study used three students of class VIII as the main subject of the study. In addition to the researcher as the key instrument, the researcher also used AKM questions, interview texts, and observation texts for data acquisition. The validity used is the triangulation of sources and techniques. The inductive technique is the process of data analysis used in this research. The results of the study stated that students' numeracy skills were not perfect, indicator three on giving conclusions was not given for all subjects used. Habituation in solving AKM problems in classroom learning is needed to train students' numeracy skills

    STUDENTS' ERROR IN SOLVING HOTS-CATEGORY MATHEMATICS PROBLEMS VIEWED FROM DIDACTIC TRIANGLE

    Student errors in solving Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) category math problems can be caused by the learning process experienced by them. In the learning process, there are three interrelated components, namely students, teachers, and materials which can be described in a didactic triangle, namely Didactic Relationship, Pedagogical Relationship, and Didactic-Pedagogical Anticipation Relationship. This study aims to describe students' error in solving HOTS-category math problems and the causes of these errors viewed from the didactical triangle. This study used a case study method with a qualitative approach conducted at one of the senior high schools in Bengkulu Province, involving three 10th-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected by using test, interview, and document study techniques. The results of this research show that errors appeared in the completion of each HOTS-category math problem, consisting of errors in using concepts, calculations, and failing to solve the problem. Viewed from the didactic triangle, these errors occur when students do not learn through the resources provided, learning activities tend to be monotonous, passive-student responses during the learning process, and teacher only focuses on conventional learning. Thus, the learning process experienced by students is unable to encourage them to think at the HOTS level

    PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF MENGGUNAKAN SCRATCH: SOLUSI PEMBELAJARAN DI ERA SOCIETY 5.0

    AbstrakDi era society 5.0, perkembangan teknologi membuka peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif pada materi persamaan kuadrat menggunakan Scratch sekaligus menguji kelayakan. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan media ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (RnD) menggunakan model 4D, yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Produk yang dihasilkan melalui penelitian pengembangan ini adalah multimedia interaktif yang dapat diakses secara online melalui laman Scratch. Berdasarkan penilaian dari lima orang pakar di bidang pendidikan matematika, multimedia berbasis ICT, dan evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan menggunakan Scratch tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan, baik dari aspek desain pembelajaran, aspek rekayasa, maupun komunikasi visual. Scratch yang memiliki fungsi utama untuk membuat game dan animasi, ternyata juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat multimedia pembelajaran yang interaktif. Sejalan dengan itu, tulisan ini menyarankan pemanfaatan Scratch untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada materi lainnya sekaligus menguji efektivitas penggunaan media tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematika dan computational thinking siswa.AbstractIn the era of society 5.0, technological developments open up great opportunities to improve the quality of learning. One way is to develop interactive learning multimedia. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning on quadratic equation material using Scratch and its testing feasibility. The method used for the development of this media is development research (RnD) using the Four-D Model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The product produced through this development research is interactive multimedia which can be accessed online via the Scratch page. The assessment of five mathematics education experts, ICT-based multimedia, and learning evaluation shows that the media developed using Scratch is very suitable for learning design, engineering aspects, and visual communication. Scratch, which has the primary function of making games and animations, can also be used to create interactive multimedia learning. In line with that, this paper suggests using Scratch to develop learning media on other materials and test the effectiveness of using these media in improving students' mathematical and computational thinking skills

    [Bahasa]: Perkembangan teknologi perlu dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan tidak terkecuali dalam dunia pendidikan. Teknologi perlu dimanfaatkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya adalah permasalahan dalam penyusunan jadwal pelajaran pada beberapa sekolah atau madrasah yang ada di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah program pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan pendekatan service learning dalam bentuk pelatihan penyusunan jadwal menggunakan software Asc TimeTable. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program menggunakan model CIPP, yang terdiri dari empat komponen evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi context, evaluasi input, evaluasi process, dan evaluasi product. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek context, program yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh sasaran program, yaitu para guru/ustadz dan pengelola sekolah/madrasah. Pada aspek input, strategi program yang ditawarkan juga sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan dari sasaran program. Evaluasi proses pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa program telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Demikian halnya dari aspek evaluasi produk diketahui bahwa pemahaman subjek sasaran program sudah baik. Secara umum program yang dilaksanakan sudah berjalan dengan baik dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan hasil studi ini menginspirasi pelaksanaan program serupa dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi di era Society 5.0 ini untuk kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Technology needs to be used to overcome problems in education, including the problem of preparing lesson schedules in several schools or madrasahs in Ponorogo Regency. The proposed solution is a community service program utilizing the service learning approach through training sessions on schedule planning using the Asc TimeTable software. This study aims to evaluate the program using the CIPP model, which consists of four components: context, input, process, and product. The evaluation results show that from the context aspect, the programs offered are under the problems the program targets face: teachers/ustadz and school/madrasah administrators. In the input aspect, the program offered is also highly relevant to the needs and expectations of the target. Evaluation of the program implementation process shows that the program has been carried out very well. Likewise, from the aspect of product evaluation, it is known that understanding the program target's subject is good. In general, the program implemented has been running well and effectively. As a result, it is hoped that the findings of this study may inspire similar projects aimed at optimizing the use of technology in the period of Society 5.0 for community advancement and welfare.     Improving Students' Mathematical Reasoning Ability and Self-Efficacy Based on DNR-Based Instruction

    Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis (KPM) dan efikasi-diri sangat penting bagi mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Namun, fakta menjunjukkan bahwa dua hal tersebut belum sesuai dengan harapan.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak dari model DNR-based Instructions terhadap KPM dan efikasi-diri mahasiswa. Metode eksperimen semu digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 39 mahasiswa kelompok model DNR-based Instructions dan 39 mahasiswa kelompok model konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes-KPM dengan validitas tinggi dan angket efikasi-diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: KPM  mahasiswa kelompok model DNR-based Instructions lebih baik dari pada KPM  mahasiswa kelompok model konvensional, ditinjau secara keseluruhan maupun berdasarkan Pengetahuan Awal Matematis (PAM); Efikasi-diri mahasiswa kelompok model DNR-based Instructions berada pada kategori baik. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah KPM dan efikasi-diri dapat ditingkatkan melalui aktivitas pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada cara memahami dan cara berpikir, kebutuhan intelektual dan penalaran berulang. Mathematical Reasoning Ability (MRA) and self-efficacy are very important for prospective mathematics teacher students. However, the facts show that these two things have not met expectations. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the DNR-based Instructions model on MRA and student self-efficacy. The quasi-experimental method was used in this research with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample for this study consisted of 39 students from the DNR-based Instructions model group and 39 students from the conventional model group. This research has used MRA-test instruments with high validity and self-efficacy questionnaires. The research results show that: MRA for students in the DNR-based Instructions model group is better than MRA for students in the conventional model group, both overall and based on Prior Mathematics Knowledge (PMK); The self-efficacy of students in the DNR-based Instructions model group is in the good category. The implication of the results of this research is that MRA and self-efficacy can be improved through learning activities that are based on ways of understanding and ways of thinking, intellectual needs and repetitive reasoning

    The Development of Website-based Faimathematics in Mathematics Learning to Increase Student Learning Interest

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Faimathematics berbasis website dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah media pembelajaran berbasis website (Faimathematics). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non tes berupa lembar validasi dan angket minat belajar. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari  6 orang siswa kelas IX A pada skala kecil dan 23 orang siswa kelas IX B pada skala besar di SMPN. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: validitas ahli media dengan kriteria sangat valid, validitas ahli materi dengan kriteria sangat valid, validitas ahli pedagogik dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan validitas ahli bahasa dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh siswa pada uji coba skala kecil mendapat hasil sangat praktis, hasil uji praktikalitas oleh siswa pada uji coba skala besar mendapat hasil praktis, dan hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru mendapat hasil praktis. Peningkatan minat belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Faimathematics termasuk dalam kategori sedang. The purpose of this study is to develop website-based Faimathematics in mathematics learning to improve students learning interest. The resulting product is a website-based learning media (Faimathematics). The Data collection techniques used in this study were a non-test in the form of validation sheets and interest in learning questionnaires. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 students of class IX A on a small scale and 23 students of class IX B on a large scale at SMPN. The results showed: The validity of media experts with very valid criteria, the validity of material experts with very valid criteria, the validity of pedagogic experts with very valid criteria, and the validity of linguists with very valid criteria. The results of practicality tests by students in small-scale trials got very practical results, the results of practicality tests by students in large-scale trials got practical results, and the results of practicality tests by teachers got practical results. Increasing students' interest in learning after participating in learning mathematics using Faimathematics is included in the medium category

    Salah satu kebijakan pendidikan merdeka belajar adalah Asesmen kompetensi minimum dan survey karakter. Untuk asesmen kompetensi minimum, kompetensi yang diuji adalah kemampuan literasi numerasi. Agar siswa dapat memiliki kemampuan ini, maka terlebih dahulu siswa harus menguasai konsep dasar berhitung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa kelas VI dalam menyelesaikan soal perhitungan penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SDK Bali Loura. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya 30% siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan dengan penyebut sama maupun penyebut berbeda, sedangkan 70% siswa melakukan kesalahan; 28% siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan yang berpenyebut sama maupun penyebut berbeda, sedangkan 72% siswa melakukan kesalahan.     A Meta-Analysis of the Last Two Decades of Realistic Mathematics Education Approaches

    Today, hundreds of studies on the technique known as Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) have been discovered. Numerous trials yielding contradicting results. The purpose of this meta-analysis is to ascertain the overall effect of RME and to examine the moderator variables in order to explore the consequences. The ERIC database, Sage publications, Springer publications, semantic scholars, and Google scholars were used to identify empirical data. The study examined 54 effect sizes from 38 individual studies conducted in the past two decades, involving 6140 participants. The estimation procedure was according to the random effects model, and statistical calculations were performed using the CMA program. According to the research findings, the study's overall effect size was 0.97. This suggests that implementing RME has a significant favourable influence on pupils' mathematical abilities. Moderator variables analysis shows that RME implementation would be more efficient when considering sample size, intervention length, learning mix, and education level. This finding contributes to the future implementation of RME to consider those variables that are shown to moderate the studies' effect sizes. Finally, comparisons of RME across countries and limitations of the study are discussed, providing vital information as a starting point for later studies and development of RME
