    OPTIMALISASI KINERJA KARYAWAN MELALUI PEMBERDAYAAN DAN MOTIVASI KARYAWAN PADA PT INDUSTRI TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA

    This study aims to determine the description of the application of empowerment, motivation and employee performance, as well as to analyze and explain the influence between variables jointly or partially. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and documentation techniques. Research place at PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia. The sample used was 67 employees from various divisions. The sampling technique used random sampling method. The verification analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that data analysis: (1) employee empowerment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (2) motivation has a positive but not significant effect on performance. (3) employee empowerment, knowledge management and motivation simultaneously have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results showed that employee empowerment and motivation together had a positive and significant effect on performance, but partially the effect of motivation on performance had a positive but not significant effect. This means that the influence of motivation on performance does not apply in general, and only applies in this study

    Sensory Changes in Adults with Unilateral Transtibial Amputation

    The purpose of this study was to describe the sensory changes in adults with unilateral transtibial amputation (TTA), as any loss of sensation may have significant impact on the successful use of a prosthesis. Sensory modalities of light touch, deep pressure, vibration, and superficial pain (pinprick) were examined on the residual and contralateral limbs of 16 veterans with TTA. Six subjects demonstrated normal sensation on the contralateral limb and impaired sensation of superficial pain, vibration, and/or light touch on the residual limb. Superficial pain was the most frequently impaired sensation, and vibration and superficial pain sensation appeared to be age-dependent, with increased impairment observed in the elderly. Deep pressure sensation was intact in all subjects. These preliminary data suggest that although neither the amputation nor the prosthetic rehabilitation resulted in impaired deep pressure sensation, these two factors contributed to minimal impairment of light touch and vibration, and significant impairment of the superficial pain sensation

    Keluaran dari hasil penelitian ini ingin mendapatkan bukti empiris yang berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti hal ini penting untuk diteliti karena ingin mengetahui dampak pengalaman marketing dan kinerja pelayanan terhadap intensitas berkunjung kembali dengan kepuasan pasen sebagai varibel intervening. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah pada Klinik Pratama Avionic Singaparna Tasikmalaya.Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif melalui data kuesioner disebarkan kepada 91 orang pasen dengan menggunakan Teknik Puposive Sampling.Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa variabel experiential marketing tergolong sangat baik, sedangkan variabel service performance, kepuasan pasen dan repurchase intention pada umumnya tergolong baik. Hasil analisis verifikatif analisis jalur dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Smart PLS ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung yang signifikan antara variabel service performance.Kemudian dampak langsung antara experiental pemasaran terhadap berkunjung kembali berdampak positif dan siginifikan. Artinya semakin baik service performance yang diberikan klinik kepada pasen maka repurchase intention menjadi menurun, jika menginginkan service performance dapat memberikan dampak terhadap repurchase intention, maka perlu diwujudkan melalui kepuasan pasen terlebih dahulu. Apabila kepuasan pasen terpenuhi, maka repurchase intention akan terwujud

    PENERAPAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERBATUAN VIDEO TUTORIAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKONOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI

    Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah belajar dengan penerapan project based learning berbantuan video tutorial serta efektifitas penggunaan video tutorial dalam pelaksanaan project based learning. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes objektif berupa soal pilihan ganda untuk melihat kemampuan siswa dan angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa mengenai pembelajaran yang dilakukan sedangkan observasi hanya sebagai data pendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa 1) Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,36 yang termasuk interprestasi sedang, disisi lain kelas control hanya mendapatkan nilai gain ternormalisasi 0,18 yang termasuk interprestasi rendah. 2) hasil pengolahan data angket menunjukan interprestasi kuat dengan kata penerapan project based learning berbantua video tutorial mendapat respon baik dari siswa. 3) hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa penerapan project based learning berbantuan video tutorial dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional Kata kunci: project based learning, video, video tutorial. This study included in the quantitative research to determine differences in improving student learning outcomes after learning with the application of video-assisted project based learning tutorials and the effective use of video tutorials in the implementation of project-based learning. Instrument used to collect data in this study is an objective test in the form of multiple choice questions to see the ability of students and student questionnaire responses to determine students' responses about the learning is done while the observation only as supporting data learning activities. From the research it can be seen that 1) the experimental class scores normalized gain of 0.36 which includes interpretation is, on the other hand just get a grade control gain normalized value of 0.18 which includes low interpretation. 2) the data processing by questionnaire showed a strong interpretation of the application of project-based learning berbantua tutorial videos get good response from the students. 3) hypothesis testing results show that the application of video-assisted project based learning tutorials can improve student learning outcomes better than conventional learning models Keywords: project-based learning, video, video tutorials

    Based on a preliminary study conducted by researchers regarding the principal's leadership and teacher competence at the Baros Kencana Cipta Bina Mandiri Public Elementary School, several initial field facts were found, namely 1) The principal in carrying out his leadership was able to mobilize teachers, students and school members to always improve their abilities even though there are several obstacles, this is proven based on data from the Education Report Card. 2) Some teachers have carried out and maximized their work as teachers, but there are still some students who still need special intervention by their teachers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of principal leadership and teacher competence on motivation and the implications for teacher performance. The benefits of providing additional information to develop a theoretical basis strategy regarding the Influence of Principal Leadership and Teacher Competence on Motivation and the Implications for Teacher Performance. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the results of the ANOVA calculation obtained information about the results of the calculation Fcount = 3.788 > Ttable = 1.98 and probability (Sig.) 078a which means greater than the significance level of 0.05, so that it can be decided that Ha which reads "There is a significant influence significantly on the principal's leadership, teacher competence and motivation on teacher performance". The results of the correlation calculation presented in the table show the adjusted R2 result of 0.482. This means that the influence of the principal's leadership variable (X1), teacher competence (X2), and motivation (Y) on teacher performance (Z) is 48.2% while the remaining 50.8% is influenced by the variables in this study

    THE INFLUENCE OF ACADEMIC CULTURE AND TASK COMMITMENT TOWARD LECTURERS’ INNOVATIVENESS

    This study aims to investigate the academic culture and task commitment toward lecturers’ innovativeness. Quantitative survey methods were adopted. To collecting the data, a questionnaire and path analysis were used. Two hundred fifteen lecturers at several universities in Jakarta (Indonesia) participated in the study. The results indicate that many academic cultures positively give direct influences to lecturers’ innovativeness, and task commitment positively gives direct influences to lecturers’ innovativeness. The study concludes that training and mastery of the use of media are needed to improve the competence and innovation of lecturers in conducting scientific research

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang motivasi mahasiswa dalam upaya pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan, mendeskripsikan bentuk sosialisasi organisasi kemahasiswaan dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) mahasiswa, menjelaskan peranan organisasi kemahasiswaan sebagai organisasi intra kampus terhadap pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) mahasiswa, memaparkan hal-hal apa sajakah yang menjadi kendala organisasi kemahasiswaan dalam pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan bagi mahasiswa, dan menjelaskan upaya yang dilakukan organisasi kemahasiwaan dalam mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan keterampilan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan dilengkapi teknik analisis data Triangulasi. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Sumber data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti buku-buku yang relevan, dokumen-dokumen (Peraturan Pemerintah, undang-undang), kemudian internet atau jurnal terkait dengan judul penelitian, serta hasil wawancara langsung dengan sumber inti atau subjek penelitian yaitu Dirmawa dan mahasiwa UPI terutama yang aktif dalam ormawa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan literature. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) motivasi mahasiswa terhadap organisasi kemahasiswaan dalam pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan mahasiswa mengalami penurunan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena mahasiswa lebih mengedepankan akademik dan mementingkan diri sendiri; (2) bentuk sosialisasi organisasi kemahasiswaan dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan mahasiswa yaitu dengan memanfaatkan berbagai media. Media yang efektif akan mempermudah dan menyebarluaskan informasi secara cepat dan akurat; (3) peranan organisasi kemahasiswaan sebagai organisasi intra kampus terhadap pengembangan keterampilan kewarganegaraan mahasiswa yaitu sebagai wadah aspirasi mahasiswa dalam menuangkan ide-idenya. Dalam melaksanakan peranannya, ormawa merancang program yang dapat menarik minat mahasiswa; (4) kendala yang dihadapi ormawa selama pelaksanaan kegiatan terutama dalam pengembangan civic skills yaitu ada kendala secara internal dan eksternal.; (5) upaya yang dilakukan organisasi kemahasiwaan dalam mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan keterampilan kewarganegaraan yakni dengan melestarikan budaya, merancang program dan materi yang menarik, berperilaku disiplin, memahami manajemen konflik, mengadakan penilaian kinerja atau evaluasi, dan melaksanakan peran ormawa di universitas dengan sebaik mungkin. ; The aim of this research is to figure out the student’ motivation in developing of civic skills, describing the type of implementation of students’ organization in its relation to the students’ civic skills development, explaining the role of students’ organization as a within campus organization towards students’ civic skills development, elaborating the issues that appears on the students’ organization in developing civic skills for students’, and explaining an attempt which is done by students’ organization on solving problem during civic skills implementation. This research uses qualitative approach through case study method and triangulation analysis data. This research took place at Indonesian University of Education. The resources of date are relevant books, documents, (The government’s rule’s scripts, law scripts), website, relevant journals, interviews’ result through the main object or the object of research; Dirmawa and UPI’s students especially for those who are active in students’ organization. The technique that is used for gaining all data is observation, interview, study of documentation, and literature. Due to the result of research and discussion, the writer concludes that: (1) the students’ motivation towards students’ organization in students’ civic skills development decreases. It is caused by the students’ are more intended on academic field and their own selves; (2) the type of implementation of students’ organization in its relation to the students’ civic skills development is through functioning many kinds of medias. An effective media will spread an information easily, fast, and accurately; (3) the role of students’ organization as a within campus organization towards students’ civic skills development is as a place of students’ aspirations an expressing their ideas. On implementing its role, students’ organization designs programs which can attract students’ interest; (4) the issues that are faced by students’ organization during implementing of its activities especially on developing civic skills are about internal and external problems; (5) the attempt that is done by students’ organization to solve its problems during implementation of civic skills is by conserving culture, designing programmer, preparing an attractive material, controlling behavior, comprehending conflict management, providing an appraisal assessment or evaluation, and implementing students’ organization role in university as good as possible

    The results of the performance and competency survey of teachers at Pelita Fajar Elementary School in using media or learning resources are appropriate using LKS as a guide, but teachers should use additional guidelines such as teaching modules as a guide. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of teacher competence, work discipline, motivation on teacher performance at Pelita Fajar Elementary School. The benefits of this research are providing additional information to develop theoretically based strategies regarding the Influence of Teacher Competency and Work Discipline on Motivation and the Implications for Teacher Performance at Pelita Fajar Elementary School. The object of this research is Pelita Fajar Elementary School. This research uses a survey research method with a quantitative approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the compensation variable (X1) has a significant influence on the work discipline variable (X2). The work discipline variable (X2) is 0.610 (< 0.05), so it can be concluded that the work discipline variable (X2) has a significant influence on the motivation variable (Y). This shows that at SD Pelita Fajar teachers master the learning materials given to students. Teachers teach according to the field of science they are studying. Teachers master the subject matter they teach. Teachers master the theoretical concepts of the subjects they teach. Teachers develop learning materials according to the environment around students. Teachers develop learning materials using innovative learning. Teachers utilize technology in teaching in class
