Pada dasarnya bangunan Masjid juga tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan energi listrik sama halnyaseperti padabangunan gedung lainnya. Dalam perencanaan instalasi penerangan pada Masjid Al-Falah Desa Senggoro Kecamatan Bengkalis, ini dirancang sesuai dengan fungsi setiap ruangan pada gedung dan aman dari bahaya listrik sesuai dengan standar PUIL 2011, sehingga orang-orang menjadi nyaman dan aman berada didalam bangunan masjid tersebut. Dalam menganalisa, dilakukan langkah-langkah antara lain: menghitung effisiensi, jumlah lampu dan KHA yang sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia, menghitung total daya penerangan lantai secara keseluruhan, menentukan penghantar yang digunakan dan merancang panel MDP & SDP pada gedung Masjid tersebut

    The procedure for lower limb surgery is one of the major and long-standing operations. Surgical trauma stimulates the stress response of surgery. The surgical stress response will interfere with stress hormones including insulin. Insulin is an anabolic hormone that is important in the body and has a role in the process of wound healing. Previous studies have shown insulin levels to correlate with increased surgical stress and the type of anesthesia given. This study analyzed differences insulin levels in bupivacaine 0,125% with morphine 3 mg and to compare the analgesia effect of continuous bupivacaine 0,125% with 3 mg morphine epidural in postoperative lower extremity assessed from insulin levels. A retrospective cohort study taken from secondary data from previous studies and their medical records at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Statistical analysis used STATA 15th edition. Wilcoxon showed that there was a significant difference in 0,125% bupivacaine group on insulin leves after 12th hours postoperative (p0.05). In this study, there was no significant difference between the 0,125% bupivacaine with 3 mg morphine on insulin level

    A simple circuit to improve the power yield of PV array during partial shading

    In a typical photovoltaic (PV) power system, when part of the PV module is shaded, the bypass diode is activated to protect the module from hot-spot damages. As a result, the output power is reduced significantly because the power generated from the shaded module is totally unusable. In this paper, a simple circuit is proposed to increase the power yield of PV system under partial shading condition. The idea is to recover the power generated by the shaded module and then process it using power electronics circuit to become part of the output power. Consequently, the inclusion of the circuit enables the system to deliver more power compared to the bypass diode method. The concept is evaluated using Matlab-Simulink simulation and proven using an experimental test rig. The performance of the proposed circuit is compared with (1) PV system with bypass diode and (2) micro-inverter. The results show marked improvement in the efficiency, especially under heavy partial shading condition

    AbstractMalaysia is a multi-racial country and unity is an important agenda for the country's political, social and economic stability. The Malaysian prime minister enhanced this vital agenda with his “One Malaysia” concept that alert the Malaysian citizen to have a high sense of responsibility towards building a united nation. Every citizen should have high tolerance attitude among them. The Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education has taken stern action in realizing this concept of unity by introducing a course known as Ethnic Relations. The course should be taken by every students in private and public universities. A study was conducted on first year students perceptions towards ethnic relations in Malaysia mainly between the Malays and the non Malays which consists of Chinese, Indian and other ethnics. The sample of the study were 320 first year students of one of the public university in Malaysia who register for Ethnic Relations course in the first semester for the 2009/2010 session. Questionnaires were given to the students before the implementation of the ethnic relations module and after their completion of the course. The aspects of questionnaires are culture, identity, stereotype, interaction, prejudice and plurality. This is an action research and data was analyzed by using mean. Before the implementation of the module, from the mean it was found that there was a difference of perceptions between the different ethnic related to the aspects of culture, identity and stereotype. The findings will be discussed later in the paper

    Fruit-Fly Based Searching Algorithm For Cooperative Swarming Robotic System

    Swarm intelligence can be described as a complex behaviour generated from a large number of individual agents, where each agent follows very simple rules. It is actually inspired by understanding the decentralized mechanisms in the organization of natural swarms such as the birds, the ants, the bees, the glowworms, and the fireflies. Observation of these biological behaviour has given birth to swarm robotics whereby robots have the capability to work with one another in a group to achieve the same kind of parallelism, robustness and collective capabilities. A collective behaviour movement strategy such as a “source search” and “aggregation” are commonly exhibited by the animals while finding their source of food. However, the situation for the robots is to find the source of odour, light, and sound. Meanwhile, there has been mounting interest, particularly for finding the deepest location in lakes and dams for bathymetric survey systems. Using the existing lawnmower methods incur substantial costs in terms of time, accuracy and reliability. Therefore, the usage of a swarming robotic system is proposed. In this thesis, a simple framework and methodology in developing a bio-inspired algorithm for cooperative swarming robotic application has been developed. The fruit flies or Drosophila Melanogaster movement strategy offers some advantages such as strategic 'search-aggregation' cycle, distribution of moving patterns with Levy Random, information sharing in real-time, and reduction of controller parameters during movements. A number of benchmark function processes were conducted to assess the performance of proposed FOA (Fly Optimisation Algorithm)

Kertas kerja ini ditulis dengan harapan supaya dapat disingkap dan dicari satu relung jawapan sebagai titik tolak dan pendekatan baru bagi para saintis Muslim khususnya serta para saintis amnya dalam menangani permasalahan ini. Di antaranya adalah dengan lebih mengkaitkan setiap penciptaan atas nama kemajuan dan pembangunan di selaras dengan teladan yang telah ditunjukkan oleh Tuhan Maha Pencipta.
