A Research of Subtitle Translation and International Communication of Chinese Cultural Documentary from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology
With the acceleration of globalization, the internationalization of film and television works has become a powerful tool to enhance Chinese cultureâs international influence. As an important carrier for telling Chinese stories, subtitle translation of Chinese cultural documentaries is very favorable to cultural dissemination. The documentary âChina Bouquetâ shows the colorful history, folk customs, and humanities of China and is widely disseminated on overseas media platforms. Based on eco-translatology, this paper interprets the subtitle translation skills and international communication effects of it. It finds that translators adapt to translation ecological elements in linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions to enhance the acceptance of overseas audience. With domestication as the main strategy and foreignization as the auxiliary strategy, translators adopt free translation, conversion, transliteration, omission etc. to demonstrate the charm of Chinese culture and promote effective cultural communication
Possible singlet and triplet superconductivity on honeycomb lattice
We study the possible superconducting pairing symmetry mediated by spin and
charge fluctuations on the honeycomb lattice using the extended Hubbard model
and the random-phase-approximation method. From to doping levels,
a spin-singlet -wave is shown to be the leading
superconducting pairing symmetry when only the on-site Coulomb interaction
is considered, with the gap function being a mixture of the nearest-neighbor
and next-nearest-neighbor pairings. When the offset of the energy level between
the two sublattices exceeds a critical value, the most favorable pairing is a
spin-triplet -wave which is mainly composed of the next-nearest-neighbor
pairing. We show that the next-nearest-neighbor Coulomb interaction is also
in favor of the spin-triplet -wave pairing.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure
A Study on Consumersâ Negative Online Reviews and Merchantsâ Responses Discourse Strategies Based on Rapport Management Theory
Online shopping is an important consumption channel, and customers can express reviews about products on the platform. Negative reviews can inform merchants about defects of products and services, providing references for other consumers. Negative reviews and responses reflect merchantsâ and customersâ adjustments to interpersonal relationships. Based on Spencer-Oateyâs rapport management theory, this paper collects 400 negative consumer reviews and corresponding merchant responses from Tripadvisor. Then the writer conducts data statistics and case analysis on the corpus, aiming to obtain the proportions of strategies for complaints and responses and to analyze rapport management tendencies of communicators. Research shows that consumers mainly adopt rapport-challenge orientation, and the most commonly used complaint strategies are âexplicit complaintâ, âexpression of annoyance or disapprovalâ and âbelow the level of reproachâ. Most merchants take rapport-enhancement orientation and rapport-maintenance orientation. They frequently employ strategies of âexpressing emotionâ, âapologizingâ, âcommitting and actingâ etc. This paper intends to provide references for establishing harmonious interpersonal relationships and favorable business environment
Context-based and Diversity-driven Specificity in Compositional Zero-Shot Learning
Compositional Zero-Shot Learning (CZSL) aims to recognize unseen
attribute-object pairs based on a limited set of observed examples. Current
CZSL methodologies, despite their advancements, tend to neglect the distinct
specificity levels present in attributes. For instance, given images of sliced
strawberries, they may fail to prioritize `Sliced-Strawberry' over a generic
`Red-Strawberry', despite the former being more informative. They also suffer
from ballooning search space when shifting from Close-World (CW) to Open-World
(OW) CZSL. To address the issues, we introduce the Context-based and
Diversity-driven Specificity learning framework for CZSL (CDS-CZSL). Our
framework evaluates the specificity of attributes by considering the diversity
of objects they apply to and their related context. This novel approach allows
for more accurate predictions by emphasizing specific attribute-object pairs
and improves composition filtering in OW-CZSL. We conduct experiments in both
CW and OW scenarios, and our model achieves state-of-the-art results across
three datasets
The Super-cycle Mechanism and Model of Enterprise Expansion
In this paper, as the super-cycle theory of self-organization integrating methodology for enterprise expansion process, we study the super-cycle coupling mechanism of the enterprise and the environment, enterprises and enterprises ,and among factors within the enterprises, then construct the super-cycle model of M & A expansion , virtual enterprise expansion and union expansion to effectively combine resources ,and make synergies spiral under nonlinear .
