Investigation of burnout level of sport faculty students
The aim of this study is to investigate burnout level of last class sport faculty students. Our study was conducted on total 213 voluntary senior students who study Physical Education and Sports Teaching at Sakarya University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Firat University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Dumlupinar University School of Physical Education and Sports, Bartin University School of Physical Education and Sports, and Yuzuncu Yil University School of Physical Education and Sports. A personal information form and the Schaufeli, Leiter, Maslach and Jackson (1996) burnout scale was used. adaptation of burnout scale to Turkish made by Schaufeli, Martinez, Marques-Pinto, Salanova and Bakker (2002). A new adaptation form of burnout scale made by Capri, Gunduz ve Gokcakan (2011) for the students which composed of 13 questions. for the anaylises microsoft windows and SPSS 22 packet program was used. In the study, Cronbach’s Alpha was found as 0.78.As a result, a significant changes has been found between last class students gender and depersonalization subdemension. the depersonalization level of male students found more than female students. Statistically a significant relation has been found between age and exhaustion subdimension. Also there is significant differences between students who plan to receive postgraduate education and both exhausted and depersonalization subdemension.
Profesyonel futbolcularda zihinde canlandırma ile öz güven arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması
06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü TEZlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır.Bu çalışmanın amacı, profesyonel futbolcularda zihinde canlandırma ile öz güven düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktır. Araştırma grubunu, Türkiye'de 2016-2017 sezonunda Spor Toto Süper Lig, TFF 1. Lig, Spor Toto 2. Lig ve Spor Toto 3. Lig'de her lig kategorisinden 6 takım olmak üzere 24 kulüpte profesyonel olarak futbol oynayan 423 sporcu oluşturmuştur. Çalışma verilerinin elde edilmesinde kişisel bilgi formunun yanı sıra, Hall ve diğerleri (1998) tarafından geliştirilen, Vurgun (2010) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlaması yapılan "Sporda İmgeleme Ölçeği" ve Akın (2007) tarafından geliştirilen "Öz Güven Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Ölçekler, araştırmacı tarafından antrenörler yardımıyla yüzyüze anket tekniği kullanılarak uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek için histogram, çarpıklık (skewness) ve basıklık (kurtosis) değerleri kontrol edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda verilerde uç/aykırı değer olmadığı, tüm ifadelere ilişkin çarpıklık ve basıklık değerlerinin -2>……<+2) points were checked, and it was determined that the data had a normal distribution. Additionally, the descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, regression and one-way MANOVA analyzes were used. In this study, Cronbach's alpha values were set as 0.90 for self-confidence score, and 0.92 for imagery. According to the results of present study, it was determined that there was a positive correlation between internal and external self-confidence and all sub-scales (motivational specific, cognitive specific, cognitive general motivational, general arousal, and motivational general mastery) of imagery in professional football players (p< .01). Moreover, the cognitive general imagery, cognitive specific imagery, and motivational special imagery explained 21.4% of the internal self-confidence. Similarly, it was observed that the cognitive general imagery and motivational special imagery explained 17.7% of external self-confidence for professional football players. As a result; it was determined that the higher level of self-confidence, the higher level of imagery of professional football players
An investigation of the digital game addiction between high school students
The aim of this study was to investigate the digital game addiction levels of the high school students, according to some variables such as sports participation, gender, place of accommodation and level of income.The sample group comprises 931 high school students (508, %54,6 female and 423, %45,4 male) from several villages, districts and Kutahya city center (a town in the west part of Turkey with the population of 325.000). They participated to the study voluntarily. In addition to personal information from prepared by the researcher, the game addiction scale developed by Lemmens et al. (2009) and adapted to Turkish by Irmak and Erdogan (2015) was used as a data gathering tool. It is a five point Likert type scale and has one factor and seven items. In order to evaluate the results the descriptive statistical methods (percentage (%), frequency (f) and t-test, one-way ANOVA) were used.As a result, the significant difference was determined regarding digital game addiction [t (931)=-3,76; p=0,00] between the students who participate to the sports activities and who do not. So, the non-participant students found more game addicted. According to the gender, male students were determined more addicted than females [t (931)=9,45; p=0,00]. No significant difference was determined in terms of the place where the students lived (p=0,56, p>0,05). Investigation of variations in terms of decision making and trait anxiety level of football referees: Futbol hakemlerinin karar verme ve sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi
This study has been done in the purpose of investigation the decision making and trait anxiety level of football referees under some variations.
Study has been applied to 72 football referees out of 89 (%80.8), regional and national referees, whom work from East and South Easter Anatolian region in 8th and 13th sections.
In the study, Mann et al. (1998), “Melbourne Decision Making Scale” adapted by Deniz (2004) and Turkish “Trait Anxiety Inventory” adapted by Türker, Öner and Le Compte (1983) developed by Spielberger and friends. SPSS 22 package program was used to analyze the data obtained in the study and the level of significance was taken as p <0.05. T-test and One-Way Anova were used in the study.
As the result of the analysis, in decision making process, the education of self-respect and high attention favors the referees. Those whom has worked more, thus have more experience, tend to have a higher level of decision making. It has been determined that as the age progresses at the level of trait anxiety, there is a regular decrease in trait anxiety level. It has been determined that the level of trait anxiety of the referees who have graduate education level is lower than that of the referees who have undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Bu çalışma, bölgesel ve ulusal futbol hakemlerin karar verme ve sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelemesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Araştırma, Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde 8. ve 13. Bölge’de bulunan bölgesel ve ulusal futbol hakemi olan toplam 89 hakemden 72 (% 80,8) hakeme uygulanmıştır.
Çalışmada, Mann ve Ark. (1998) tarafından geliştirilmiş olup, Deniz (2004) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan ''Melbourne Karar Verme Ölçeği'' ve Spielberger ve arkadaşları (1970) tarafından geliştirilen Öner ve Le Compte (1983) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan ''Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri'' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verileri analiz etmek için SPSS 22 paket programı kullanılmış olup anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Çalışmada t testi ve One -Way Anova kullanılmıştır.
Çalışma sonucunda, Karar vermede özsaygı ve dikkatli karar verme düzeylerinde eğitim düzeyi üst seviyede olmasının hakemler lehine önemli bir faktör olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hakemlik yılı fazla olan futbol hakemlerinin dikkatli karar verme düzeyinin yüksek olduğu gözlenmiştir. Sürekli kaygı düzeyinde yaş ilerledikçe sürekli kaygı düzeyinde de düzenli bir düşüşün olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Eğitimi düzeyi yüksek lisans olan hakemlerin sürekli kaygı düzeyi eğitim durumu ön lisans ve lisans olan hakemlere göre daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir
Examination of self-respect and decision-making styles in decisionmaking of individuals participating in the training of camp leadership

make a choice and selection in the face of the various situations and events.
108 volunteer leader candidates were participated in our study, by reaching 86.4% of 125
people participating in the Training of Camp Learship organized in Kapizli April 23 Scouting
and Camp Training Center in Silifke District of Mersin between 28 January and 2 February
2013.In our study, it was aimed to examine the self-respect and decision-making styles in
decision-making of individuals participating in the Training of Camp Learship in terms of some
variables. To achieve this goal, it was determined, by using "Melbourne Decision-Making
Questionary" developed by Mann and Ark. (1998) and Personal Information Form consisting of
7 questions. The data were evaluated by SPSS package statistical software and the
significance level was taken as p<0.05.
Finally; while examining the self-respect and decision-making styles in decision-making of
individuals participating in the Training of Camp Learship in terms of "gender, age and
education level"; it was observed that difference between score averages of sub-dimensions
of decision-making styles in terms of age variables is in the sub-dimension of "suspensive
decision-making style", and that also no difference in the gender and education level was
observed. Consequently, it was found that as age grows, they have more suspensive decisionmaking
style
Effect of smartphone addiction on loneliness levels and academic achievement of z generation
Smartphones provide users much more than a mobile phone. For this reason, smartphones have become very important in our lives. In this context, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of smartphone addiction on loneliness levels and academic achievement of Z generation high school students. In 2018-2019 academic year’ spring semester, 490 high school students voluntarily participated to this study. As well as demographic information, Smartphone Addiction Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale were used. In the analyses of the obtained data, IBM SPSS Statistics 24 was used. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson's Correlation analysis. To determine the effect of smartphone addiction on high school students’ loneliness and academic achievements, linear regression analysis was used. A positive relationship between Z generation high school students' smartphone addiction and right of monthly GB usage for smartphone, daily internet usage duration, and loneliness levels was determined, whereas there was a negative correlation between their academic achievements. Moreover, it was found that smartphone addiction of Z generation high school students predicted their loneliness and academic achievement at the level of ~4% and ~1%, respectively. These results show that high school students should be saved from smartphone addiction. Thus, loneliness levels can be reduced and academic achievement can be increased
The mediating effect of social media addiction on the relationship between leisure boredom and loneliness: Serbest zamanda sıkılma algısı ve yalnızlık arasındaki ilişki üzerine sosyal medya bağımlılığının aracılık etkisi
This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of social media addiction on the relationship between leisure boredom and loneliness. A total of 330 high school students in Istanbul, 212 male (64.2%) and 118 female (35.8%), participated in the study voluntarily. In the study, the "Leisure Boredom Scale" developed by Iso-Ahola and Weissinger (1990) to measure participants' perceptions of boredom in their leisure, the "UCLA Loneliness Scale" developed by Peplau and Cutrona (1980) to measure loneliness level, and the "Social Media Addiction scale for Adolescents" developed by Eijnden, Lemmens and Valkenburg (2016) to measure the social media addiction level, were used as data collection tools. The convenience sampling method, which is one of the random sampling methods, was used in the sample selection and the face-to-face survey technique was preferred. In the analysis of the obtained data, descriptive statistics via the SPSS package program, Pearson Correlation, and regression analysis of the indirect impact approach based on the Bootstrap method via PROCESS v3.5 macro were performed. As a result, it was observed that leisure boredom had statistically significant effects on social media addiction and loneliness, and social media addiction on loneliness. Besides, regarding the main aim of the research, it was determined that social media addiction had a mediating effect on the relationship between leisure boredom and loneliness.

Bu çalışmanın amacı serbest zamanda sıkılma algısı ile yalnızlık arasındaki ilişkide sosyal medya bağımlılığının aracı etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubunu İstanbul’da lise düzeyinde öğrenim gören gönüllü olarak katılım sağlayan 212 erkek (%64,2), ve 118 kadın (%35,8) olmak üzere toplam 330 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada katılımcıların serbest zamanlarında sıkılma algılarını ölçmek amacıyla Iso-Ahola ve Weissinger (1990) tarafından geliştirilen Boş Zaman Can Sıkıntısı Ölçeği, yalnızlık düzeyini ölçmek amacıyla Peplau and Cutrona (1980) tarafından geliştirilen UCLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği ve sosyal medya bağımlılık düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla Eijnden, Lemmens ve Valkenburg (2016) tarafından geliştirilen Ergenler İçin Sosyal Medya Bağımlılığı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Örneklem seçiminde tesadüfi örneklem yöntemlerinden olan kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmış ve yüz yüze anket tekniği tercih edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı aracılığıyla tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Pearson Correlation ve PROCESS v3.5 makro aracılığıyla Bootstrap yöntemini temel alan dolaylı etki yaklaşımına ilişkin regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, serbest zamanda sıkılma algısının sosyal medya bağımlılığı üzerinde, serbest zamanda sıkılma algısının yalnızlık üzerinde, sosyal medya bağımlılığının yalnızlık üzerinde istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı etkilerinin olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca, araştırmanın temel amacına ilişkin olarak serbest zamanda sıkılma algısı ile yalnızlık arasındaki ilişkide sosyal medya bağımlılığının aracılık etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Investigation of Constraints that Occur during Participation in Leisure Activities by High School Students: A Sample of Turkey
The aim of this research was to determine the factors that may prevent high school students from participating in recreational activities and to investigate whether these factors differ within the scope of various variables. This study consisted of 1459 (681 women and 778 men) student volunteers who are educated to high school level. The easy sampling method was preferred in the present study. The face-to-face survey method was used to collect the data. The “Leisure Constraints Scale” developed by Alexandris and Carroll (1997) and adapted to Turkish by Gürbüz, Öncü, and Emir (2012) was used to determine the factors that might prevent individuals from participating in leisure activities. The data obtained for the research were first transferred to a computer and then analyzed by the SPSS program. The error margin level in the study was taken as p < 0.05. The Cronbach alpha of the study was found to be 0.91. As a result, it was found that women participated in leisure activities more than men. It was also observed that the participants met with more leisure constraints in Turkey’s eastern regions
Research on the achievement motivation levels of the amateur football players
This study was conducted to determine the achievement motivation levels of the amateur football players based upon the importance of motivation on the athletes’ successes. The research group comprises 243 voluntary amateur football players who actively participated in the competitions during 2016-2017 season in Elazig. In the study, “Sports-Specific Achievement Motivation Scale” that was developed by Willis (1982) and adapted to Turkish by Tiryaki and Godelek (1997) was used. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS 22 programme. The margin of error was accepted as p<0.05. The cronbach alpha value was found as ,78. Consequently; when the subscales of achievement motivation of the amateur soccer players participating in the study were analyzed with some variables, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference between those aged 22-24 years and those aged 25-27 years in approach success. In the team playing year variable, the statistical significance was found between the ones who have 1 year football history in the team and those who are 5 years or more in the approach success. It was observed the approach to achievement motivation increased as the experience of playing for a team increased. As for the year of working with a trainer variable, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference between those who had 1 year past with coach and those who had 2 years past with the motivation to avoid failure
