    A Predictive Analysis on Group Exercise of Chinese Rhythmic Gymnastics at the 2008 Olympic

    This article has conducted a compared analysis on skills of top 6 teams at the 2006 and 2007 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, and “Luck Beijing” International Invitation Match by using documents, video tapes, and statistic methods. The results show that the Chinese team has already been in the position of first level in the World and has a potential capability to be in the top 3 teams at the 2008 Olympic. However, the quality of skill execution, skill value, and art value need to be improved and renovated. Pourtant, il faut faire attention à la qualité de l’semble des mouvements, à la valeur technique et artistique.     Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels and the risk of idiopathic central precocious puberty in girls

    Introduction: Prior studies have found inconsistent results regarding the relationship between vitamin D status and Idiopathic Central Precocious Puberty (ICPP). Objective: To assess the role of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25 [OH]D) levels in ICPP development. Method: The authors retrospectively collected data from 221 girls with ICPP and 144 healthy girls between January 2017 and December 2019. The participants’ serum 25(OH)D levels were measured using an automatic chemiluminescence method, and the association between serum 25(OH)D levels and the risk of ICPP was assessed using multivariate logistic regression analysis. Odds Ratios (OR) with 95% Confidence Intervals (95% CI) were calculated as effect estimates. Results: Serum 25(OH)D levels in the ICPP group were significantly lower than those in healthy controls (p < 0.001). Multivariate analysis indicated that girls with insufficient vitamin D levels (OR = 0.201; 95% CI 0.094–0.428; p < 0.001) and sufficient vitamin D levels (OR = 0.141; 95% CI 0.053–0.375; p < 0.001) both had a lower risk of ICPP than girls with vitamin D deficiency. Moreover, the authors found that the height (p = 0.014), weight (p = 0.014), breast stage (p = 0.010), mother's height (p < 0.001), and luteinizing hormone/follicle-stimulating hormone ratio (p = 0.010) in girls with ICPP could be associated with levels of vitamin D. Conclusion: This study found that a low serum 25(OH)D level is an independent risk factor for ICPP, and several characteristics of girls with ICPP could be affected by their vitamin D status.

    Ionizing radiation has the potential to cause extensive damage to living organisms. It can directly act on DNA, proteins and lipids, resulting in ionizing excitation and chemical bond cleavage, which can lead to molecular and cellular damage. Ionizing radiation can hydrolyze water molecules in the body, resulting in increased numbers of free radicals with strong oxidation ability. This process indirectly leads to tissue degeneration and necrosis, which can possibly result in cancer. In this paper, the intervention mechanism of flavonoids on ionizing radiation was analyzed. It has been revealed that the intervention mechanism associated with flavonoids may offer protective properties for DNA, prevent scavenging free radicals, and protect against auto-immune damage.     Temperature and impurity effects of the polaron in an asymmetric quantum dot

    We study the temperature and impurity effects of the ground state energy and the ground state binding energy in an asymmetric quantum dot by using the liner combination operator method. It is found that the ground state energy and the ground state binding energy will increase with increasing the temperature. The ground state ener-gy is a decreasing function of the Coulomb bound potential, whereas the ground state binding energy is an in-creasing one of it

    Discovery potential for the LHCb fully-charm tetraquark X(6900)X(6900) state via pˉp\bar{p}p annihilation reaction

    Inspired by the observation of the fully-charm tetraquark X(6900)X(6900) state at LHCb, the production of X(6900)X(6900) in pˉpJ/ψJ/ψ\bar{p}p\rightarrow J/\psi J/\psi reaction is studied within an effective Lagrangian approach and Breit-Wigner formula. The numerical results show that the cross section of X(6900)X(6900) at the c.m. energy of 6.9 GeV is much larger than that from the background contribution. Moreover, we estimate dozens of signal events can be detected by D0 experiment, which indicates that searching for the X(6900)X(6900) via antiproton-proton scattering may be a very important and promising way.     Influence of macrobenthos ( Meretrix meretrix Linnaeus ) on erosion‐accretion processes in intertidal flats: A case study from a cultivation zone

    The activity of benthic organisms can strongly influence sediment dynamics in anintertidal flat. However, few studies have conducted a quantitative assessment of the effect of benthic organisms on erosion-accretion processes under field conditions. The aim of this study was to quantify the effects of the benthic clam Meretrix meretrix Linnaeus on bed erodibility and sediment erosion- accretion processes in an intertidal flat. Within the cultivation zone atsite A, M. meretrix is present in large numbers (up to 137 individuals/m2). On the other hand, site B is located outside the cultivation zone. At this site, which is only 500 m away from site A alongshore, M. meretrix forms a sparse population with only 3.7 individuals/m2. The results showed that the critical shear stress for erosion, denoted by τce, was 0.22 and 0.32 N/m2 at sites B and A, respectively, and the magnitudes of bed-level change were significantly higher at site A than site B. These results reveal the large effect of M. meretrix on decreasing τce, augmenting the erosion rate when the bed shear stress due to combined currents and waves, denoted by τcw, was higher than τce, and conversely enhancing the accretion rate when τcw < τce. The changes induced in these parameters are likely to have a large impact on model predictions of bed erodibility, sedimentary processes, and morphological evolution. Thus, integrated field measurements of hydrodynamic and bed-level changes, accompanied by simultaneous biological sampling, may help to improve the parameterization of hydro-sedimentary and morphodynamic models for shallow-water environmentsFil: Shi, Benwei.     Exclusive Charmonium Production at the Electron-ion collider in China

    We investigate the exclusive J/ψJ/\psi production at the future Electron-ion collider in China by utilizing the eSTARlight event generator. We model the cross-section and kinematics by fitting to the world data of J/ψJ/\psi photoproduction. Projected statistical uncertainties on J/ψJ/\psi production are based on the design of a central detector, which consists of a tracker and vertex subsystem. The precision of the pseudo-data allows us to probe the near-threshold mechanism, e.g. the re-scattering effect. The significance of the forward amplitudes is discussed as well. The design and optimization of the detector enhance the potential for exploring the near-threshold region and the realm of high four-momentum transfer squared.Comment: 10 pages, 11 figure
