Językowa i stylistyczna wielogłosowość publicystyki okolicznościowej

Artykuł jest pomyślany jako próba charakterystyki konkretnej publikacji prasowej, mającej kształt gatunkowej kolekcji. Jest to bowiem dodatek do „Tygodnika Powszechnego” (nr 29 z 2018 roku) pt. Festiwal Stolica Języka Polskiego. Publikacja ta powiela formę magazynu prasowego, gdyż oprócz programu festiwalu zawiera: editorial, wywiady, recenzje, teksty komentujące i biogramy wybranych uczestników festiwalu. Mamy zatem do czynienia z typowym dla kolekcji współwystępowaniem konkretnych wypowiedzi w określonym miejscu i czasie. Całości przypisać można funkcję powiadamiania o wydarzeniu kulturalnym (festiwalu) oraz funkcję promowania imprezy. Autorka analizuje wspomnianą publikację w perspektywie dyskursywnej, a więc zwraca uwagę na określone, typowe dla współczesnej prasy praktyki komunikacyjne, tworzące skomplikowaną siatkę strategii, celów i form komunikacji, składających się na kształt współczesnej publicystyki. Analitycznym celem artykułu jest pokazanie komunikacyjnej polimorficzności konkretnego zbioru wypowiedzi publicystycznych, a więc interpretujących określoną rzeczywistość i służących przekonaniu czytelników do tej interpretacji. Poszczególne wypowiedzi są traktowane jako głosy, czyli komunikacyjnie (pragmatycznie) i formalnie ukształtowane typy działań językowych.The article has been conceived as an attempt to characterize a particular press publication in the shape of a genre collection. It is an extra to „Tygodnik Powszechny” (No. 29, 2018) under the title “Festiwal Stolica Języka Polskiego” (“Festival the Capital of the Polish Language)”. The publication reproduces a form of press magazine, since apart from the festival program, it includes: an editorial, interviews, reviews, commentaries and silhouettes of selected participants of the festival. Therefore, we deal with a co-occurrence of particular utterances at a specific place and time, typical for a collection. The function of notification about a cultural event (the festival) and the function of promoting the event can be ascribed to the whole issue. The author analyzes the abovementioned publication in the discursive perspective, and so she draws attention to specified communication practices, typical of contemporary press that create a complicated network of strategies, goals and forms of communication, contributing to the shape of contemporary journalism. The analytic purpose of the article is to present a communication polymorphism of a particular set of press utterances that interpret a specified reality and aim at convincing the readers to this interpretation. Particular utterances are treated as voices, i.e. communicatively (pragmatically) and formally shaped types of language activities

Współczesne modlitewniki na tle przeobrażeń dyskursu religijnego

W kolejnym interdyscyplinarnym tomie dokumentującym działalność uniwersyteckiego Ośrodka Badawczego Myśli Chrześcijańskiej zaprezentowano teksty pracowników różnych uczelni: KUL, UKSW, WSD w Łodzi, UW, UMCS oraz UŁ. Prace te stanowią efekt refleksji kręgów akademickich nad relacjami między tytułowymi kategoriami (kultura – myśl – edukacja), podejmowanej z perspektywy różnych dziedzin nauki – teologii, religioznawstwa i literaturoznawstwa. Autorzy odwołują się do wielorakich kontekstów kulturowych świadczących o dialogu Kościoła ze światem kultury i nauki, takich jak: myśl papieska, ekumenizm, teologia piękna i duchowości, inspiracje chrześcijańskie w literaturze, dyskurs religijny. Tytuł tomu zaczerpnięty został z adhortacji papieża Franciszka, który kieruje swoje przesłanie także do kręgów akademickich. W jego przekonaniu zarówno dziedziny nauki, jak i kategorie myślenia mogą stać się narzędziami ewangelizacji, a teologia – pozostawać w dialogu z innymi naukami i ludzkim doświadczeniem

Współczesnej publicystyki prasowej oblicza różne

The analyses presented in the article suggest that contemporary column writing can be divided into the basic mainstream and modernizing sub-currents. The mainstream is flexibly inscribed into the tradition of press publishing, and characterized by recentness of problems discussed (although historical ones are not avoided), importance of themes, defense of values accepted as primary in our cultural area, and convincing persuasion, based on argument and logical support for opinions, reference to authority, inative and suggestive quality. Modernizing sub-currents, on the other hand, should be perceived as experimental activity, authored subjectively, polyphonic, exposing and satirical, provocative and appealing to readers in the consctruction of a common world view, based on common interests, and community of ethical principles, language, and laughter (interestingly, these parameters do not have to co-occur). The phenomenon of mixing all currents in a text seems to be the most typical quality of contemporary column writing. The functioning of media content with a given dominant introduces a modernizing stir into this order. The article presents a more careful analysis of several examples of these tendencies

Językoznawca na medialnym polu badawczym

Depicting the feasible actions of a linguist interested in media research, the autlior presents two dominant research approaches and the problems relaled therewilh. She hypothetically distinguishes the role of a linguist - hegemonie leader and the role of a linguist - sovereign.The hegemonie approach means a clearly specified research subject, i.e. the media language, a precisely specified scope of analyses and the supremacy of research methods deriving from linguistics.The linguist - sovereign prefers an open approach, considering the appropriately selected achievements of media studies and related disciplines in his/her analyses and interpretations. He/she characterizes irt his/her own manner the media vision of the world, the stylistic diversification of media messages, media genres, placing the selected issues in a discourse perspective. The dynamics of research shaped in such manner has resulled in proclaiming a new sub-discipline within linguistics referred to as media linguistics
