Penertiban Geng Motor di Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2012 2013 (Studi Kebijakan Ketertiban Umum Pemerintah Kota)
The purpose of this present research was to analyze the Regulation of Geng Motor in Pekanbaru Year 2012-2013 (Study of City Government at Public Policy Procedure). Cruelness which was done by geng motor in Pekanbaru really fidgety society and rise victims, so the researcher interested to analyze the regulation of geng motor. The problems in this research were; what factor because geng motor show up, why perda number 5 year 2002 did not optimal, and why perda was not synergy to prevent public procedure.Qualitative research was used in this research. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive. This research used observation document and interview with informant. The data was primary and secondary from observation and interview.Based on this research of regulation of geng motor in Pekanbaru year 2012-2013 (study of city government at public policy procedure) is suggest that happen because identity crisis of teen, bad influence from age friend, weak of self-control, community and bad environment. Problem of geng motor not only classing public procedure but also include in law area and have to act undoubtful by officers in this problem is policy. Government should do preventive way and policy should do technically.Key note : Regulation, Wisdom, Geng Moto
Risk Management in Pinisi Relaxation Using Analytical Hierarchy Process
Pinisi Relaxation is a massage parlor that was established in September 2012, and located in the city of Bandung and Sukabumi. Along with the passage of a new company, there are many events that can cost the company, both in terms of financial and non-financial. To be able to cope with such events, Pinisi Relaxation could use risk management approach, as well as the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process in selecting alternative needed to handle the risks. Risk identification in Pinisi Relaxation divided into business risk, financial risk, operational risk, marketing risk, and human resource risk. All risks will be placed in a risk map that reflects the position of any risks inherent in Pinisi Relaxation. The next process is to mitigate the risks inherent in Pinisi Relaxation through analysis of theory and concepts related to conditions in Pinisi Relaxation. Results of analysis for risk mitigation alternatives will then be selected through the Analytical Hierarchy Process to produce the best alternative to handle the risks. Criteria that must be met to handle the risks in Pinisi Relaxation are divided over the cost, effectiveness, and time, in which each of these criteria have different comparisons. Through the process of the analysis, there would be the alternatives that required by Pinisi Relaxation to handle the risks. Each entity in the company should be able to do the alternatives that have been selected in accordance with their respective duties. In addition, the risk management process should always be reviewed and controlled in order to avoid the things that could cost the company if it the risk treatment doesn\u27t run in an appropriate way
Privacy in the Genomic Era
Genome sequencing technology has advanced at a rapid pace and it is now
possible to generate highly-detailed genotypes inexpensively. The collection
and analysis of such data has the potential to support various applications,
including personalized medical services. While the benefits of the genomics
revolution are trumpeted by the biomedical community, the increased
availability of such data has major implications for personal privacy; notably
because the genome has certain essential features, which include (but are not
limited to) (i) an association with traits and certain diseases, (ii)
identification capability (e.g., forensics), and (iii) revelation of family
relationships. Moreover, direct-to-consumer DNA testing increases the
likelihood that genome data will be made available in less regulated
environments, such as the Internet and for-profit companies. The problem of
genome data privacy thus resides at the crossroads of computer science,
medicine, and public policy. While the computer scientists have addressed data
privacy for various data types, there has been less attention dedicated to
genomic data. Thus, the goal of this paper is to provide a systematization of
knowledge for the computer science community. In doing so, we address some of
the (sometimes erroneous) beliefs of this field and we report on a survey we
conducted about genome data privacy with biomedical specialists. Then, after
characterizing the genome privacy problem, we review the state-of-the-art
regarding privacy attacks on genomic data and strategies for mitigating such
attacks, as well as contextualizing these attacks from the perspective of
medicine and public policy. This paper concludes with an enumeration of the
challenges for genome data privacy and presents a framework to systematize the
analysis of threats and the design of countermeasures as the field moves
forward
THE POTENCY OF LOCAL ISOLATES FROM NORTH SUMATERA IN THE DEGRADATION OF NAPHTALENE
The potency of biosurfactant–producing bacteria isolated from oil-contaminated coast, Belawan North Sumatera, in the degradation of hydrocarbon compound such as naphthalene has been studied. Thirteen isolates has been obtained using Bushnell Haas Agar containing 2% naphthalene as the sole carbon source. The bacterial growth was observed using Standard Plate Count method. The ability of each isolates to produce bioactive-surface compound was determined. A drop-collapsing test was performed to examine the activity of each biosurfactant. All isolates tested grew well in Bushnell Haas Broth medium. Among those, two isolates were able to remove almost all (99%) naphthalene from the medium during 15 days. Those two isolates have also shown highest concentration of biosurfactant production which is 75.180 ppm. Keywords: local isolates, biosurfactant, naphthalene degradation
Glassy Dynamics of Protein Folding
A coarse grained model of a random polypeptide chain, with only discrete
torsional degrees of freedom and Hookean springs connecting pairs of
hydrophobic residues is shown to display stretched exponential relaxation under
Metropolis dynamics at low temperatures with the exponent , in
agreement with the best experimental results. The time dependent correlation
functions for fluctuations about the native state, computed in the Gaussian
approximation for real proteins, have also been found to have the same
functional form. Our results indicate that the energy landscape exhibits
universal features over a very large range of energies and is relatively
independent of the specific dynamics.Comment: RevTeX, 4 pages, multicolumn, including 5 figures; larger

Shapes of free resolutions over a local ring
We classify the possible shapes of minimal free resolutions over a regular
local ring. This illustrates the existence of free resolutions whose Betti
numbers behave in surprisingly pathological ways. We also give an asymptotic
characterization of the possible shapes of minimal free resolutions over
hypersurface rings. Our key new technique uses asymptotic arguments to study
formal Q-Betti sequences.Comment: 14 pages, 1 figure; v2: sections have been reorganized substantially
