    The Role of Multi-Sensory Experience Toward Perceived Medical Service Quality: A Research at Vietnam Public Hospital

    The theory of Sensory Marketing has been developed as a special approach to help managers understand customers through creating multi-sensory experiences. In medical services, a patient's multi-sensory experience with a medical facility will shape each customer's different perception of service quality. The article evaluates the role of multi-sensory experience in customers’ perceived service quality at public hospitals in Vietnam. Research results have shown that tactile, olfactory, visual and taste stimuli have a significant influence on the perceived service quality of customers when experiencing medical services. Besides, the authors also detected that customer’s expectation and satisfaction have a proportional relationship. Discussions and recommendations on the application of sensory marketing to improve people's perception of the medical service quality have been proposed to enhance the brand image of Vietnam's public hospitals as well as to ensure the interests of the customer during the use of the service.     Covid-19 And Factors Affecting Vietnamese Students’ Readiness For Digital Transformation

    Education in Vietnam is trying to make use of the values of the digital technology revolution. As one of the eight key fields of National Digital Transformation, education needs to find ways to develop and take advantage of opportunities to be able to shape the future of society with high-quality human resources. As a huge challenge, the Covid-19 pandemic has quickly put pressure on the past predicted trends in education such as the “university of the future”, but, from a positive viewpoint, it also brings a big opportunity for universities to make the transformation, from classic one to the new and trendy university – the digital one. The paper analyzes in-depth the factors affecting the readiness of Vietnamese students for digital transformation in the above context. The research model is built based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory and corrects necessary variables. The results show that the impact of Covid-19, self-study ability and attitude are the factors that have the most influence on the willingness to shift the learning method towards digitization. According to the result, the authors will propose several recommendations on improving the readiness of Vietnamese students for the digital transformation of education and training. Thereby helping students change to adapt to learning activities when the pandemic appears, and know how to take advantage of digital transformation.     Effect of Polypyrrole on the Electrical, Dielectric and Mechanical Properties of Waterborne Epoxy Coatings

    In this context, conducting composite based on waterborne epoxy system and polypyrrole (PPy) was investigated. The polypyrrole was synthesized by chemical oxidation polymerization. Its morphology and chemical structure were confirmed by using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Then, PPy was well-dispersed in the epoxy coating and had a good compatibility with the matrix. The effects of PPy on dielectric, electrical and mechanical properties of epoxy/PPy composites was examined. The dielectric constant and electrical conductivity of the coatings increased with addition of PPy fillers. Over to 15 wt. % of PPy loading, the volume resistivity of samples slightly decreased from 6.7 × 1010 to 1.5 × 1010 Ω cm. In contrast, the presence of PPy diminished both impact and abrasion resistance of the epoxy/PPy composites, down to 160 kg cm and 10.2 L/mil, respectively, but they stayed acceptable for the coatings. The results reveal that the epoxy containing polypyrrole is suitable for various electrical and dielectric applications

    HIGH PROTECTION PERFORMANCE OF COATING SYSTEMS BASED ON ZINC RICH PRIMER AND FLUOROPOLYMER COATING

    Coating systems based on zinc rich primer and fluoropolymer top coat were exposed for 8 years at different atmospheric stations in Vietnam: Hanoi, Ha Long and Nha Trang. For comparison the coating system with zinc rich primer and polyurethane topcoat was also tested. The degradations of coating systems were evaluated by gloss measurement and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The obtained results show that coating systems with zinc rich primer and top coatings based on fluoropolymer  and polyurethane topcoats show very high weather resistance and corrosion protection performance, but the systems with fluoropolymer are better than coating system with polyurethane topcoat

    The effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of auditors

    This study aims to evaluate the impact of effective emotional intelligence on the work of auditors in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh. The authors conducted a survey for 355 auditors at companies and organizations operating in the field of auditing. The results show that there were 4 factors of emotional intelligence that affect job performance, arranged in the following sequence: (1) Perception of emotions, (2) Positive thinking with emotions, (3) Understand emotions, (4) Control emotions. This is the basis for the authors to give some implications to improve the emotional intelligence characteristics of auditors towards work efficiency

    Risk assessment, implementation of occupational health, safety and hygiene in small and medium manufacturing enterprises: A case study in central Vietnam

    This study aims to identify and evaluate the influence of the factors affecting the implementation of occupational health and safety of employees and employers and its impact on occupational health and safety and legalize risk assessment in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in central Vietnam through the survey among 246 business representatives and data processing through the software SPSS 20 and AMOS 20. The results show that there are 3 factors affecting the implementation of occupational health, safety and hygiene. In order: (1) Safety regulations and instructions; (2) Occupational health, safety policy and (3) Occupational health and safety training. There is no relationship between the impacts on the implementation of occupational health and safety of the employer. In addition, a very interesting finding about the relationship of factors implementing occupational health and safety of employers was a positive influence on the legalization of risk assessment activities. On the basis of these results, employees, business owners and state management agencies will have grounds to offer useful solutions in risk assessment in order to better perform safety work and occupational health

    Insight into the effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (ZnO/MWCNTs) on the thermal conductivity of epoxy nanocomposite as an electrical-insulating coating

    The effect of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles on the thermal conductivity of zinc oxide/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (ZnO/MWCNTs) nanocomposite electrical-insulating coating was investigated. ZnO/MWCNTs was prepared by sol–gel method and incorporated into the epoxy matrix by ultrasonic-mechanical mixing to form the nanocomposite (ZnO/MWCNTs/epoxy). The SEM, XRD, and TGA analysis results showed that ZnO nanoparticles with 3–4 nm size formed layers on MWCNTs wires with a 10-nm diameter. The formed ZnO/CNT nanofillers had a diameter about 20–40 nm and had a highly homogeneous dispersion in the epoxy matrix. The thermal property of the nanocomposites was examined by the thermal imaging method. It was found that both MWCNTs and ZnO/MWCNTs nanofillers have significantly enhanced the thermal conduction of composites even at a low content load of 0.25 wt%. The thermal conductivity of ZnO/MWCNTs/epoxy and MWCNTs/epoxy composites was 0.62 and 1.09 Wm−1 K−1 respectively. The formation of ZnO nanoparticles on MWCNTs was thus led to a decreasing of about 43% in thermal conductivity of the composite. However, the thermal conduction of the ZnO/MWCNTs/epoxy composite is significantly improved about 210% compared to that of neat epoxy. These results proposed a useful method to modify the surface of MWCNTs for the fabrication of epoxy nanocomposite where electrical-insulating and thermal conducting are both required.
