    Q-operator and factorised separation chain for Jack polynomials

    Applying Baxter's method of the Q-operator to the set of Sekiguchi's commuting partial differential operators we show that Jack polynomials P(x_1,...,x_n) are eigenfunctions of a one-parameter family of integral operators Q_z. The operators Q_z are expressed in terms of the Dirichlet-Liouville n-dimensional beta integral. From a composition of n operators Q_{z_k} we construct an integral operator S_n factorising Jack polynomials into products of hypergeometric polynomials of one variable. The operator S_n admits a factorisation described in terms of restricted Jack polynomials P(x_1,...,x_k,1,...,1). Using the operator Q_z for z=0 we give a simple derivation of a previously known integral representation for Jack polynomials.Comment: 26 page

    Internal and external factors of food security policy in Russia

    The article substantiates that food security and food independence of Russia is accompanied by new internal and external factors. Counter-measures from Russia include quickened import substitution, modernization of agriculture, and investments for increase of efficiency and competitiveness under the conditions of growing economic, social, political, and natural & climatic turbulence. As to foreign policy, these counter-measures include membership in the WTO, integration into the Eurasian Economic Union, globalization of agricultural sphere, foreign sanctions against or limiting food import in Russia, and exchange of partners in export and import. Policy of food security and independence is conducted under the conditions of high inflation and is rather costly. Vectors of food security of Russia are differently directed, though there is economic growth of agriculture. Food security and food independence become a part of national security and independence. Innovational strategy of modernization of agriculture should be considered to be the highest priority of country’s development. Increase of support for Russian agriculture from state budget, regional budget, federal and regional programs, and subsidies are especially important.peer-reviewe

    Interplay of Topological States on TI/TCI Interfaces

    Based on first-principles calculations, we study electronic structure of interfaces between a Z2 topological insulator (TI) SnBi2Te4 and a topological crystalline insulator (TCI) SnTe. We consider two interface models characterized by the different atomic structure on the contact of the SnTe(111) and SnBi2Te4(0001) slabs: the model when two materials are connected without intermixing (abrupt type of interface) and the interface model predicted to be realized at epitaxial immersion growth on topological insulator substrates (smooth interface). We find that a strong potential gradient at the abrupt interface leads to the redistribution of the topological states deeper from the interface plane which prevents the annihilation of the Γ¯ Dirac states, predicted earlier. In contrast, a smooth interface is characterized by minor charge transfer, which promotes the strong interplay between TI and TCI Γ¯ Dirac cones leading to their complete annihilation.The M¯ topologically protected Dirac state of SnTe(111) survives irrespective of the interface structure.This research was funded by Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (state task No. 0721-2020-0033), the Government research assignment for ISPMS SB RAS, project No. III.23.2.9

    Identification of nucleotide patterns enriched in secreted RNAs as putative cis-acting elements targeting them to exosome nano-vesicles

    <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Exosomes are nanoscale membrane vesicles released by most cells. They are postulated to be involved in cell–cell communication and genetic reprogramming of their target cells. In addition to proteins and lipids, they release RNA molecules many of which are not present in the donor cells implying a highly selective mode of their packaging into these vesicles. Sequence motifs targeting RNA to the vesicles are currently unknown.</p> <p>Results</p> <p><it>Ab initio</it> approach was applied for computational identification of potential RNA secretory motifs in the primary sequences of exosome-enriched RNAs (eRNAs). Exhaustive motif analysis for the first time revealed unique sequence features of eRNAs. We discovered multiple linear motifs specifically enriched in secreted RNAs. Their potential function as <it>cis</it>-acting elements targeting RNAs to exosomes is proposed. The motifs co-localized in the same transcripts suggesting combinatorial organization of these secretory signals. We investigated associations of the discovered motifs with other RNA parameters. Secreted RNAs were found to have almost twice shorter half-life times on average, in comparison with cytoplasmic RNAs, and the occurrence of some eRNA-specific motifs significantly correlated with this eRNA feature. Also, we found that eRNAs are highly enriched in long noncoding RNAs.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>Secreted RNAs share specific sequence motifs that may potentially function as <it>cis</it>-acting elements targeting RNAs to exosomes. Discovery of these motifs will be useful for our understanding the roles of eRNAs in cell-cell communication and genetic reprogramming of the target cells. It will also facilitate nano-scale vesicle engineering and selective targeting of RNAs of interest to these vesicles for gene therapy purposes.</p

    SELECTION OF OPTIMAL TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS FOR FORMING NOMINALLY FLAT SURFACES WITH LUBRICATING MICROCAVITIES

    This article demonstrates a multi-step process for forming a nominally flat surface with circumferential lubricating microcavities on a tribological assembly of an Х38CrSi steel shaft. The process includes finish turning, preliminary strengthening burnishing, deformation profiling of microcavities by a honing stone and smoothing of microprotrusions. The study determines the optimal technological parameters for each of the transitions based on microhardness and oil absorption power maximization, as well as roughness and periodic impact minimization. The process optimization is conducted using the Tagichi experiment design method. The optimal combination of technological parameters for hardening burnishing was discovered to be: normal force F = 200 N; feed rate f = 0.025 mm/rev and three tool passes. These burnishing parameters practically eliminate the influence of periodic impacts at spatial frequencies determined by the tool feed rate and the number of spindle rotations during turning. We determined suitable honing stone grit parameters and application force that yield microcavities 3.8 to 8.1 μm in depth, as well as the optimal parameters for smoothing of microprotrusions, resulting in a bearing area roughness of Sa = 0.15 µm and oil absorption power of 13.74×10–5 mm3/mm2

    MnBi2Se4-based magnetic modulated heterostructures

    Thin films of magnetic topological insulators (TIs) are expected to exhibit a quantized anomalous Hall effect when the magnetizations on the top and bottom surfaces are parallel and a quantized topological magnetoelectric effect when the magnetizations have opposite orientations. Progress in the observation of these quantum effects was achieved earlier in the films with modulated magnetic doping. On the other hand, the molecular-beam-epitaxy technique allowing the growth of stoichiometric magnetic van der Waals blocks in combination with blocks of topological insulator was developed. This approach should allow the construction of modulated heterostructures with the desired architecture. In the present paper, based on the first-principles calculations, we study the electronic structure of symmetric thin film heterostructures composed of magnetic MnBi2Se4 blocks (septuple layers, SLs) and blocks of Bi2Se3 TI (quintuple layers, QLs) in dependence on the depth of the magnetic SLs relative to the film surface and the TI spacer between them.     The formation of the cultural leisure infrastructure structures the modern space in a special way and contributes to the formation of a new leisure sphere of modern society. The cultural leisure industry today is not only and not so much a training field, but a huge segment of the country's leisure market. The purpose of the study is to study the features of the cultural leisure infrastructure and its role in the representation of students. Research methods: as a research method, a questionnaire survey was used as a method of collecting primary information, which allows us to identify various aspects related to students' ideas about the ways and problems associated with spending free time. Research results: the article considers the role of leisure in the consumer society. The features of the development of leisure infrastructure are revealed. The novelty and originality of the study lies in the fact that for the first time the field of leisure is considered in the representation of students. It is revealed that leisure time for students is a criterion for identifying the status of a person, acts, as a social marker of a certain lifestyle, is a sphere of manifestation of different capabilities of an individual. It is determined that leisure is often aimed not so much at enjoying free time, as at filling the consumption of non-working time. For the first time, the reasons for the visiting of students in leisure studios are shown. It is revealed that there is a randomness of choice; the desire to find new meanings; a way of searching for oneself. It is shown that students note the leisure industry as a sector where, for a certain fee, the client buys not only the opportunity to spend time, but also new goals and ways of self-expression. It is determined that today leisure studios are not just a place where classes are held twice a week, but also a well-organized recreational space. Leisure studios are organized in such a way that a person who is engaged in, who is interested in it, feels that he belongs to a certain clan. It is revealed that the leisure industry sells not just services, but mood, and it is the leisure studios organized on this principle that are the most successful in the market of leisure services. From the point of view of students, an important role in the leisure industry is played by the teacher, as a guide to the world of hobbies. It is determined that it is the presence of a teacher that structures training in a special way. Practical significance: The data obtained in this work can be used in marketing research, economic sciences, advertising psychology, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue

    Structural and crystal-chemical characteristics of the apatite deposits from human aortic walls

    Thermal behavior of biological apatite is the object of several studies. Crystal size, carbonate content, phase composition, and other parameters change during annealing up to 900 °C in biological minerals with apatite structure. The way these parameters change reflects the specific properties of the initial bioapatite. This work presents data on thermal transformations of pathological bioapatite from the human cardiovascular system, namely aortic wall deposits. Some minor elements, foreign to calcium hydroxyapatite (e.g., Na and Mg), can be both incorporated in the apatite structure and localized in the surface layers of crystals, modifying functions of the mineral. A new approach was proposed to determine the predominant location of minor elements, such as Mg, Na, and K, in the mineral of pathological deposits. Mg and Na in pathological apatite can be in both structurally bound (substituting calcium in lattice) and labile (localized on the crystal surface) states, while K is not able to join the apatite structure in significant amount or be chemically bound to it.
