Erdei fák fitoftórás betegségei = Phytophthora diseases of Forest Trees
A kutatás során a Phytophthora fajok erdei fákon valĂł magyarországi elĹ‘fordulását Ă©s jelentĹ‘sĂ©gĂ©t tártuk fel. TĂĽneteket mutatĂł pusztulĂł fákat Ă©s erdőállományokat vizsgáltunk az ország kĂĽlönbözĹ‘ terĂĽletein. Talaj- gyökĂ©r- Ă©s kĂ©regmintákbĂłl speciális mĂłdszerekkel izoláltuk a kĂłrokozĂłkat. Az izolátumokat morfolĂłgiai Ă©s Ă©lettani jellemzĹ‘k alapján azonosĂtottuk. Az izolátumok patogenitását a csemetĂ©k mestersĂ©ges fertĹ‘zĂ©se során keletkezett nekrĂłzisokok alapján igazoltuk. A Phytophthora fajok elĹ‘fordulását Ă©s szerepĂ©t a fák megbetegedĂ©sĂ©ben, pusztulásában az alábbi fafajokon bizonyĂtottuk be: mĂ©zgás Ă©ger (Alnus glutinosa), feketediĂł (Juglans nigra), kocsánytalan tölgy (Quercus petraea), csertölgy (Quercus cerris). Az Ă©gerrĹ‘l legalább öt, a feketediĂłrĂłl Ă©s a kocsánytalan tölgyrĹ‘l kĂ©t-kĂ©t, a csertölgyrĹ‘l egy Phytophthora fajt, illetve fajcsoportot kĂĽlönĂtettĂĽnk elel. A fajok azonosĂtásának molekuláris mĂłdszerrel törtĂ©nĹ‘ pontosĂtása folyamatban van. | During the research the incidence and significance of the Phytophthora species was explored on the forest trees in Hungary. Trees and forest stands showing disease symptoms were investigated in different regions of the country. Special isolations were carried out from soil, bark and root samples. The isolates were identified based on the phenotypical and some physiological features. The pathogenicity of the isolates was proved by the necrosis resulted in the wound inoculation of the stem of seedlings. The incidence of the Phytophthora species and their role in the disease and decline processes was confirmed in the Alnus glutinosa, Juglans nigra, Quercus petraea and Quercus cerris. At least five Phytophthora species or species complex in Alnus glutinosa, two in Juglans nigra and Quercus petraea and one in Quercus cerris were delimited. The revision of the identification of the species is in progress by molecular methods
An evaluation of the antioxidant abilities of Allium species
In the present study we investigated antioxidative properties of leaves of different wild (Allium flavum L., Allium sphaerocephalum L., Allium atroviolaceum Bois., Allium vienale L., Allium scorodoprasum L.) and grown (Allium nutans L., Allium fistulosum L., Allium vienale L., Allium pskemense B. Fedtsch, Allium schenoprasum L., Allium cepa L., Allium sativum L.) Allium sorts were investigated. Activities of antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, glutathione peroxidase), quantities of malonyldialdehyde superoxide and hydroxyl radicals and reduced glutathione and also the content of total flavonoids, chlorophylls a and b, carotenoids, vitamin C and soluble proteins were determined. Our results indicate that leaves of grown Allium sativum L., Allium cepa L., Allium vineale L., Allium fistulosum L. and Allium nutans L. and wild Allium flavum L. and Allium ursinum L. exibited high antioxidant activites
