Poder do russo e os colonistas-mennonitas na segunda metade do século XVIII: política e práticas de colonização
The relevance of a studied problem is caused by the need of researching the realization of the colonization policy of the government in the second half of the 18th century that gives the opportunity to define the contribution of various ethnic - confessional groups to the land development of the Russian Empire. The article is devoted to the history of the invitation of the colonists (Mennonites) to Russia for the settlement in the Ekaterinoslav’s vicegerency. The article presents the main directions of the colonization policy of Catherine II, shows the colonizing activities of G. Potemkin in the Ekaterinoslav’s vicegerency reflects the implementation of the colonization policy towards Mennonite society. The authors showed that the activity of the Mennonites in the promotion of their claims to the most advantageous conditions of their arrangement in Russia led to the adoption of a decree that sanctioned special privileges and privileges for them. The article defines the importance of meeting the Russian Empress and Mennonite deputies, which led to a serious result – the announcement made by the Russian government to the Mennonite society in Danzig at the end of December 1787. This document authorized the arrival of the Mennonites to Russia, it determined the conditions for their invitation. Thus, the authors showed that an important factor in the arrival of the Mennonite colonists in Russia was their communication with the Russian authorities. The foam-glass material for a radio frequency echoless chambers
The conducted experiment of foam glass modification by carbon nanotubes shows increased radio absorbing properties in comparison with a foam glass without additives. Addition of carbon nanodimensional tubes in number of 1,5 wt.% increases a tangent of dielectric losses angle by 2,5 times. The coefficient of electromagnetic radiation absorption in the range of frequencies of 120 - 260 GHz increases for a foam glass with carbon nanotubes (1,5 wt. %) twice in comparison with a foam glass without additives. The foam glass modified by carbon nanotubes is recommended as the effective radio absorbing material for the device of anechoic cameras. This material is fire safety, nonflammable, environmentally friendly, rather light-weight
Identification of structural motifs as tunneling two-level systems in amorphous alumina at low temperatures
One of the most accepted models that describe the anomalous thermal behavior of amorphous materials at temperatures below 1 K relies on the quantum mechanical tunneling of atoms between two nearly equivalent potential energy wells forming a two-level system (TLS). Indirect evidence for TLSs is widely available. However, the atomistic structure of these TLSs remains an unsolved topic in the physics of amorphous materials. Here, using classical molecular dynamics, we found several hitherto unknown bistable structural motifs that may be key to understanding the anomalous thermal properties of amorphous alumina at low temperatures. We show through free energy profiles that the complex potential energy surface can be reduced to canonical TLSs. The tunnel splitting predicted from instanton theory, the number density, dipole moment, and coupling to external strain of the discovered motifs are consistent with experiments. We acknowledge financial support from the Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship (Grant Agreement PIIF-GA-2012-326435 RespSpatDisp) and the European

Mannose receptor 1 expression does not determine the uptake of high-density mannose dendrimers by activated macrophages populations
The presence of a high number of macrophages within solid tumors is often significantly associated with poor prognosis and predict treatment failure for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Macrophages are innate immune cells capable of performing diverse functions depending on the different signals from the microenvironment. The classically activated macrophage is commonly present during the early stages of tumor development while alternatively activated macrophages are associated with more advanced tumors. The distinction of the antitumoral macrophages from the pro-tumoral macrophages is not absolute. However, they have different cell surface markers such as mannose receptor (MRC1 or CD206) abundantly expressed by macrophages treated with interleukin-4 (IL-4). The important roles of macrophages in cancers suggest that it is important to develop novel therapies that target these cells. In the present study, we designed a probe using Polyamidoamine (PAMAM) fifth-generation (G5) dendrimers conjugated with mannose, Cyanine 7 (Cy7), and hydrazinonicotinamide (HYNIC) for target macrophages with high expression of MRC1 in the tumor. The intracellular uptake of 99mTc-HYNIC-dendrimer-mannose-Cy7 through the interaction with MRC1 in bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) untreated or treated with lipopolysaccharides (LPS) + interferon (IFN)γ or IL-4 was analyzed. Our results show that high-density mannose dendrimers are preferentially bound by macrophages treated by IFNγ and LPS that express lower levels of MRC1 than for macrophages treated by IL-4 that express high levels of MRC1. Furthermore, the intracellular 99mTc-HYNIC-dendrimer-mannose-Cy7 uptake in BMDMs was not inhibited in the presence of free mannose or glucose. This result suggests that 99mTc-HYNIC-dendrimer-mannose-Cy7 is not internalized via macrophage MRC1. Based on these findings, we concluded that MRC1 expression does not determine the uptake of high-density mannose dendrimers
