ORGANIZATIONAL ASSUMPTIONS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF INTRAPRENEURSHIP IN COMPANIES ACROSS BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
Intrapreneurship holders are entrepreneurial employees who develop entrepreneurial activities within the existing enterprises, which in turn produces improved business performances. However, in order for entrepreneurial employees to act and release their creative energy, it is necessary to provide the specific organizational requirements. Specifically, the rigid traditional organizational structures and bureaucratic approach to job design, which is often inherent in large enterprises, are not suitable infrastructures for developing entrepreneurial climate in the organization. Consequently, the identification and analysis of the dominant type of organizational structure as well as the degree of centralization and formalization and the degree of specialization and application of teamwork in Bosnian companies, in light of ensuring organizational assumptions for the development of intrapreneurship in these companies, are only some of the goals of this paper. This analysis will be based on the results of the empirical research conducted back in 2011, which covered a hundred of Bosnian companies, and also on the results of the GEM research back in 2011. This paper will include both the presentation and debate on the basic obstacles to the development of stronger Bosnian intrapreneurship in companies, but also recommendations regarding the content of the organizational changes that should be undertaken for this purpose

Analysis of Methodology and Models of Strategic Planning of Local Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The paper starts from the premise that local development policy could be seen as a tool for effective management and usage of comparative and competitive advantages in space and time. By applying the centralized administrative model in managing society and economy, Bosnia and Herzegovina is not capable of handling efficient development at national, regional and local level. We believe that there is a need to change the model of social and economic development, taking into consideration that so far negative effects of the erroneously applied strategies and development policies have reached unexpected limits. Strategic planning is an instrument which the managers of local communities may use to make optimum decisions and their implementation. Models of strategic planning represent the need of local community for internationalization and attracting foreign investors, but also the appropriate public sector support offered to the businesses in a particular community in order to conduct their activities in a more efficient way. Priority aims and their actual application to development of local communities are determined by strategic planning and models of strategic planning. We believe that an appropriately adjusted model of strategic planning provides an advantage for local communities in innovative and cooperative approaches to the problems of local government units, with the tendency for defining priority areas and sectors, while different levels of government, scientific and development institutions at local and other levels and civil sectors should be involved in solving these problems. In this paper, we focused on the presentation of models of strategic planning from the practice worldwide, as an efficient means for the implementation of strategic planning processes and using its positive characteristics in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of local communities. As an example of balance between acceptance and feasibility, we showed the methodology for integrated planning of local development, which the local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina seek to adopt and implement
Managerial and Entrepreneurial Career Aspirations of Students - The Case of Bih
Youth entrepreneurship is becoming an attractive topic, even for the wider public, especially in transitional countries, characterized by high unemployment rates. Governments often try to stimulate the entrepreneurial activities of younger population. Nevertheless, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor data for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) indicate inadequate support to education for entrepreneurship, as well as inadequate interest of young people in BiH for the creation of own entrepreneurial ventures. In this paper, authors’ intent is to analyze the career aspirations of BiH students, in terms of a choice between managerial and entrepreneurial career, after the formal education. The preliminary empirical results indicate that BiH students perceive a managerial job as a preferable career choice and confirm lower orientation of the students and the society toward entrepreneurship. The results could be useful to formulate adequate educational and public policies, aimed toward strengthening youth entrepreneurship
