From C-invariance and crossing symmetry, $2\gamma$ contribution induces a specific dependence of the reduced cross section on the variable $\epsilon$. La bibliothèque du Tasse : problèmes interprétatifs et solutions éditoriales

L’article se propose d’analyser les pratiques de lectures du Tasse telles qu’il est possible de les reconstituer à partir des ouvrages annotés par l’auteur. Il met en évidence le rapport très étroit qui unit ce dernier à sa bibliothèque, conçue non seulement comme un refuge idéal, mais aussi comme un instrument de travail concret permettant à l’auteur de mettre en œuvre une union expérimentale entre poésie et philosophie, notamment au cours de la deuxième phase de sa production. En second lieu, l’article analyse les solutions philologiques adoptées par les responsables scientifiques des différentes éditions des volumes annotés du Tasse, en partant du principe que la valorisation de sa bibliothèque constitue un passage obligé pour une meilleure compréhension des textes qu’il composa entre la seconde moitié des années 1580 et sa mort.The aim of this paper is to study the reading habits of Torquato Tasso as far as it is possible to reconstruct them based on the volumes he annotated. It demonstrates a very close relationship between Tasso and his library, considered not only as an ideal space, but also as an instrument allowing him to promote an experimental union between poetry and philosophy, especially during the second part of his career. It then analyses the philological solutions adopted by the scholarly editions of Tasso’s annotated volumes, in light of the fact that a comprehensive study of the riches of his library is indispensable if we want to understand his production between the second half of the 1580’s and his death.Der Artikel analysiert die Lesepraktiken des Torquato Tasso und rekonstruiert sie anhand der von ihm annotierten Werke. Dabei zeigt sich eine sehr enge Beziehung zwischen dem Autor und seiner Bibliothek, die nicht nur als idealer Zufluchtsort, sondern auch als konkretes Arbeitsinstrument konzipiert wurde. Durch sie wird es dem Autor möglich, eine experimentelle Verbindung zwischen Dichtung und Philosophie herzustellen, vor allem während seiner zweiten Schaffensphase. Außerdem analysiert der Artikel die philologischen Zugänge der Herausgebern der verschiedenen Editionen der kommentierten Bände des Torquato Tasso und geht vom Grundsatz aus, dass die Valorisierung seiner Bibliothek unentbehrlich für ein besseres Verständnis jener Texte ist, die zwischen der zweiten Hälfte der 1580er Jahre und seinem Tod entstanden sind.El presente artículo se propone analizar las prácticas de lectura de Tasso, cuya reconstitución es posible gracias a los volúmenes anotados por el autor. Éstos ponen de manifiesto la relación estrecha que vinculaba a este último con su biblioteca, concebida no solo como un refugio ideal, sino también como una herramienta de trabajo concreta, que permite al autor llevar a cabo una unión experimental entre poesía y filosofía, en particular durante la segunda fase de su producción. The thought of death as a possible outcome of a hero’s destiny represents a crucial moment in the ethical definition of the knights in the Gerusalemme Liberata. The Aristotelian fortitudo, in particular, is what guides some of the Christian knights who are able to face death in full awareness, in the name of the martyrdom logic: Sofronia, Goffredo, and Sveno each represent a different manifestation of this ideology, in the name of which death appears as a victory. Even the pagan knights, especially Solimano, often describe a completely conscious vision of their own death in the name of collective values, alternating the participation in the horrendous landscape of the war with moments of introspective meditation.Il pensiero della morte quale esito possibile del destino di un eroe costituisce un momento cruciale nella definizione etica dei cavalieri della Gerusalemme liberata. È in particolare la fortitudo di marca aristotelica a guidare alcuni cavalieri cristiani che dimostrano di affrontare la morte con piena consapevolezza in nome della logica del martirio: Sofronia, Goffredo e Sveno rappresentano tre diverse manifestazioni di questa ideologia in nome della quale la morte si configura come una vittoria. General analysis of two--photon exchange in elastic electron--4He^4He scattering and e++e−→π++π−.e^++e^-\to \pi^++\pi^-.

Using a general parametrization of the spin structure of the matrix element for the elastic $e^-+^4He$ scattering and for the annihilation $e^++e^-\to \pi^++\pi^-$ reactions in terms of two complex amplitudes, we derive general properties of the observables in presence of two--photon exchange. We show that this mechanism induces a specific dependence of the differential cross section on the angle of the emitted particle. We reanalyze the existing experimental data on the differential cross section, for elastic electron scattering on $^4He$, in the light of this result.Comment: 15 pages 1 figur

Physiological and RNA sequencing data of white lupin plants grown under Fe and P deficiency

This DIB article provides details about transcriptional and physiological response of Fe- and P-deficient white lupin roots, an extensive and complete description of plant response is shown in the research article \u201cPhysiological and transcriptomic data highlight common features between iron and phosphorus acquisition mechanisms in white lupin roots\u201d Venuti et al. [1]. White lupin plants were grown under hydroponic system and three different nutritional regimes: Fe deficiency (-Fe), P deficiency (-P), or Fe and P sufficiency (+P + Fe). Depending on nutritional treatment, white lupin plants showed changes in the fresh weights, in root external acidification and FeIII-reductase activity. Moreover, the transcriptomic changes occurring in apices and clusters of Fe-deficient lupin roots were investigated and compared with differences of gene expression occurring in P-deficient plants (-P) and in Fe- and P-sufficient plants (+P + Fe). Search for two photon exchange from e++e−→p+pˉ+γe^+ +e^-\to p+\bar p +\gamma data

We look for asymmetries in the angular distributions of events from recent data on $e^+ +e^-\to p +\bar p +\gamma$ from BABAR collaboration. From first principles, as the C-invariance of the electromagnetic interaction and the crossing symmetry, the presence of two-photon exchange would create a forward backward asymmetry in the data. The analysis of the available data shows no asymmetry, within an error of 2%. This result is consistent with a structureless model for the proton, based on a calculation of $e^+ +e^-\to \mu^+ + \mu^- +\gamma$ with a proper replacement of the muon mass. As no systematic deviations are seen, we can conclude that these data do not give any hint of the presence of the two photon contribution, in all the considered kinematical range.Comment: 10 pages 2 figure
