Constantin Tischendorf and his Greek Manuscripts

    No full text
The aims of my long-term research project are to identify, explore, and analyse all Greek manuscripts that were brought to Europe by Constantin Tischendorf, a nineteenth-century German Biblical scholar and palaeographer. I aim at producing their detailed descriptions according to current methods practised in manuscript studies; and at researching histories of single manuscripts as well as the history of the whole collection, in order to establish their place in the broad historical context of production and circulation of books and texts in the Greek-speaking Near East

Résumé The manuscript Cambridge, Trinity College, 0.1.55 is one on the rare witnesses to the direct textual tradition of the scholia on Proverbs by Evagrius of Pontus and contains the first twenty-eight scholia. These must have been copied in the fourteenth century from a rather old model, which had itself been modified by the insertion of lemmata from a text of the Hexapla accompanied by kephalaia and a variety of additional glosses. 74 patients with artherial hypertension of 1–2 degree, which depending on applied therapy have been divided into two groups are surveyed. The control group received only medicamentous antihypertensive therapy, the basic one in addition — a low-frequency magnetotherapy. Parameters of the artherial pressure (AP) according to daily monitoring and the basic parameters of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism were studied. Application of a low-frequency magnetotherapy in a complex treatment of patients with АP, possesses expressed metabolic correcting action and essentially raises efficiency of treatment of the given category of patients
