The magnetic moments of 'Lambda_b' and 'Lambda_c' baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Using the most general form of the interpolating currents of heavy baryons,
the magnetic moments of heavy baryons "Lambda_Q (Q=b,c)" are calculated in
framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our results on
magnetic moments with the existing theoretical results calculated in various

Doubly heavy spin--1/2 baryon spectrum in QCD
We calculate the mass and residue of the heavy spin--1/2 baryons containing
two heavy b or c quarks in the framework of QCD sum rules. We use the most
general form of the interpolating current in its symmetric and anti-symmetric
forms with respect to the exchange of heavy quarks, to calculate the two-point
correlation functions describing the baryons under consideration. A comparison
of the obtained results with existing predictions from various approaches is

Mass and Magnetic Moments of the Heavy Flavored Baryons with in Light Cone QCD Sum Rules
Inspired by the results of recent experimental discoveries for charm and
bottom baryons, the masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons with
containing a single heavy quark are studied within light cone QCD
sum rules method. Our results on the masses of heavy baryons are in good
agreement with predictions of other approaches, as well as with the existing
experimental values. Our predictions on the masses of the states, which are not
yet discovered in the experiments, can be tested in the future experiments. A
comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of these baryons and the

Linear Field Dependence of the Normal-State In-Plane Magnetoresistance of Sr2RuO4
The transverse and longitudinal in-plane magnetoresistances in the normal
state of superconducting Sr2RuO4 single crystals have been measured. At low
temperatures, both of them were found to be positive with a linear
magnetic-field dependence above a threshold field, a result not expected from
electronic band theory. We argue that such behavior is a manifestation of a
novel coherent state characterized by a spin pseudo gap in the quasi-particle
excitation spectrum in Sr2RuO4.Comment: 4 pages + 5 figure
Nonlinearity effects in the kicked oscillator
The quantum kicked oscillator is known to display a remarkable richness of
dynamical behaviour, from ballistic spreading to dynamical localization. Here
we investigate the effects of a Gross Pitaevskii nonlinearity on quantum
motion, and provide evidence that the qualitative features depend strongly on

Light cone QCD sum rules study of the semileptonic heavy and transitions to and baryons
The semileptonic decays of heavy spin--1/2, and
baryons to the light spin-- 1/2, and baryons are investigated
in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. In particular, using the most
general form of the interpolating currents for the heavy baryons as well as the
distribution amplitudes of the and baryons, we calculate all
form factors entering the matrix elements of the corresponding effective
Hamiltonians in full QCD. Having calculated the responsible form factors, we

An Integrated TCGA Pan-Cancer Clinical Data Resource to Drive High-Quality Survival Outcome Analytics
For a decade, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) program collected clinicopathologic annotation data along with multi-platform molecular profiles of more than 11,000 human tumors across 33 different cancer types. TCGA clinical data contain key features representing the democratized nature of the data collection process. To ensure proper use of this large clinical dataset associated with genomic features, we developed a standardized dataset named the TCGA Pan-Cancer Clinical Data Resource (TCGA-CDR), which includes four major clinical outcome endpoints. In addition to detailing major challenges and statistical limitations encountered during the effort of integrating the acquired clinical data, we present a summary that includes endpoint usage recommendations for each cancer type. These TCGA-CDR findings appear to be consistent with cancer genomics studies independent of the TCGA effort and provide opportunities for investigating cancer biology using clinical correlates at an unprecedented scale. Analysis of clinicopathologic annotations for over 11,000 cancer patients in the TCGA program leads to the generation of TCGA Clinical Data Resource, which provides recommendations of clinical outcome endpoint usage for 33 cancer types
Production of singlet P-wave and states
No spin-singlet quarkonium state has yet been observed. In this
paper we discuss the production of the singlet P-wave and
states and . We consider two possibilities. In the first the
states are produced via the electromagnetic cascades \ups(3S) \to
\eta_b(2S) + \gamma \to h_b + \gamma \gamma \to \eta_b +\gamma\gamma\gamma
and . A more promising process consists of single pion
transition to the state followed by the radiative transition to the
state: \ups(3S)\to h_b + \pi^0 \to \eta_b + \pi^0 +\gamma and . For a million \ups(3S) or

In the framework of potential models for heavy quarkonium the mass spectrum
for the system () is considered. Spin-dependent splittings, taking
into account a change of a constant for effective Coulomb interaction between
the quarks, and widths of radiative transitions between the () levels
are calculated. In the framework of QCD sum rules, masses of the lightest
vector and pseudoscalar states are estimated, scaling relation
for leptonic constants of heavy quarkonia is derived, and the leptonic constant
