    Experimental studies of light-wave phase shift by polymer dispersed liquid crystal films

    Polymermethacrylate (PMMA) and polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thin films with the dispersed liquid crystal droplets are prepared by the described technique. The measurements of light wave polarization-independent phase shift induced by the electric field are displayed. It was been shown that the phase shift in polymethylmethacrylate films can approach five radians at the applied electric field about 10 V/μm

    Extensive experimental data from high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions were recorded using the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The comprehensive set of measurements from the first three years of RHIC operation includes charged particle multiplicities, transverse energy, yield ratios and spectra of identified hadrons in a wide range of transverse momenta (p_T), elliptic flow, two-particle correlations, non-statistical fluctuations, and suppression of particle production at high p_T. The results are examined with an emphasis on implications for the formation of a new state of dense matter. We find that the state of matter created at RHIC cannot be described in terms of ordinary color neutral hadrons.Comment: 510 authors, 127 pages text, 56 figures, 1 tables, LaTeX. Экспериментальные исследования подтвердили повышение прочностных показателей у оптимизированного состава.У статті представлено оптимізацію складу сухої будівельної суміші для гідроізоляційного покриття підвищеної тріщіностійкості методом математичного планування експерименту. Експериментальні дослідження підтвердили підвищення міцнісних показників у оптимізованого складу.In the article the optimization for composition of dry build mixture for hydroisolation coverage with firmness to formation of cracks by the method of the mathematical planning of experiment is represented. Experimental researches confirmed the increase of durability indexes at the optimized composition
