Innovative methods of atomic force microscopy in oncology diagnostics

    Get PDF
The purpose of this work is to study the morphological forms of erythrocytes, and also pathomorphological changes in prostate gland and kidneys with the use of atomic force microscopy (AFM) during oncological processes. Results: The decrease of discocytes was observed, and the number of transitional, pre-hemolytic and degenerative forms of erythrocytes increased. During the study of the external level of erythrocytes using AFM, it was established that the depth of the discocyte cavity counted by the study of a cell profile changed significantl

The complications of pregnancy, gestosis particularly, are still important aspects on the modern stage of development of obstetrics, as it influences on development of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. One hundred and twenty-five patients with severe gestosis were studied. The conditions of myometrium, endometrium, placenta, umbilical chord as well as erythrocytes of maternal blood were explored with help of atomic power microscopy, light microscopy as well as electron microscop

Assessment of Education Quality Assurance Conditions During Public Accreditation of Educational Organization

    Get PDF
The article proposes to evaluate the conditions of educational activities, which ensure the quality of education, during public accreditation of an educational organization. The approach is based on the use of the mechanism of external independent evaluation, conducted by a public organization, to determine the level of an educational organization in order to promote consistent improvement in the quality of the processes of providing and implementing educational activities. A number of indicators that can be expressed quantitatively are proposed. The work of the educational organization to ensure the quality of education in this case can be evaluated on the basis of the proposed indicators

Index insurance as a tool to improve the Russian system of insuring risks of agricultural organizations with state support

    Get PDF
The Russian system of insuring risks of agricultural organizations requires a qualitative restructuring based on the increased responsibility of insurers and state participation. Low rates of developing the system of insuring risks of agricultural organizations with state support require seeking for new forms of insurance in the current conditions. The article points out that the use of the index insurance is currently one of the priority directions for the development of the country's agribusiness in general. An algorithm for creating an index insurance service is presented, the purpose of which is to substantiate the possibility of applying index insurance under the conditions of risky farming. A comparative analysis of the economic efficiency of index insurance of the regional grain crops and insurance of grain crops with state support was conducted. It was concluded that the use of index insurance could be useful for other regions that were identical to Kalmykia in terms of natural and climatic environment. The theoretical results obtained by the author can be considered as one of the priority directions for the development of the theoretical and methodological toolkit for insuring risks of agricultural organizations, can become a theoretical and empirical factual foundation for the formation of scientific grounds for regional economic policy in relation to agricultural organizations based on coordinating the interests of the triad of participants: state authorities, agricultural organizations, insurance organizations, as well as program forecasting and project developments.peer-reviewe

The article examines the characteristics of hemogram in children with various forms of acute appendicitis. It is conducting a study of 56 children aged from 7 to 14 years, as a result of which showed significant differences in the number of segmented leukocytes, lymphocytes, leukocyte index of intoxication by JJ Kalf-Caliph, as well as the heterogeneity of red blood cells in volume thrombocrit and mean platelet volume

Features of micro- and ultrastructure of low-fat butter and its low-fat analogues

    Get PDF
The aim of the research was to study the features of the structure of low-fat butter and butter pastes, which, in terms of composition and properties, more fully meet the requirements of a healthy diet than high-fat types of butter. The objects of research were: butter with fat content of 72.5%; butter with fat content of 55% made with the addition of skimmed milk powder; butter of the same fat content with the addition of stabilizers based on guar and xanthan gums and emulsifiers based on monoand diglycerides of fatty acids; butter pastes with fat content of 45% with similar additives used to increase the stability of the process of butter formation and improve the texture. The microstructure was studied using an MBI-6 microscope, and the ultramicrostructure was studied using a Phillips electron microscope. In the first case, the sample was prepared by crushing the sample, in the second one — by the method of ultrafast freeze-fracture and etching. Researches have shown that the use of the introduced ingredients improves the homogeneity of the structure of the studied products. Due to the ability of milk proteins and stabilizers to retain moisture, it is more evenly distributed and well retained in the fat matrix of the product, formed from crystalline and liquid fat in the form of a continuous phase, which is confirmed by a sufficient penetration depth of the fat-soluble dye. Plasma droplets in butter with fat content of 72.5% and 55% are more isolated than in butter pastes, as indicated by the greater penetration depth of the water-soluble dye. The average diameter of isolated moisture droplets in low-fat products was 3.3–5.4 μm, and the average diameter of the fat globules that form the basis of the crystalline framework was 5.4–7.4 μm, depending on the composition of the product. For butter with fat content of 72.5%, the values of these indicators were 2.8 and 4.0 μm. The results of the study indicate the presence of differences in the sizes of structural elements, but at the same time confirm the uniformity of the structure of low-fat products, allowing them to be attributed to dispersions «water-in-oil»

Multifactorial Management the Development of Universities Innovative Educational Ecosystems

    Get PDF
The article discusses the problem of multifactorial management the development of universities innovative educational ecosystems as a complex, multi-level educational community of participants acting within the  framework of existing institutional norms and, at the same time, implementing development projects aimed at  creating new social institutions. The methodology for managing the development of innovative educational ecosystems means a system of management principles, concepts, approaches and methods of managing an organization and personnel used in the processes of social self-organization and self-development of both the educational ecosystem as a whole and its individual participant. For a specific educational ecosystem, the set of methodological tools can be different, as well as their application at different organizational levels by different participants in the educational ecosystem. The methodology for managing the development of an innovative educational ecosystem makes it possible to determine the optimal set of processes for creating innovation-oriented methods of creating scientific and educational products or performing services within the  framework of development projects characterized by the rapid development of prototypes within the  framework of outsourcing and venture capital financing, trial marketing, compensation of costs for creation based on long-term "bonus", independence and autonomy of development teams. The success the development of the innovative educational ecosystem is determined by a number of factors: the sufficiency of  funding and regulatory support; synchronized goal-setting in the primary and subsequent phases of development management; consolidation of efforts of business structures, government and universities; elimination of formal and informal institutional barriers; creation of favorable conditions and mechanisms for  investing in the development of university innovative educational ecosystems; stimulating business structures in terms of using the scientific, educational and social potential of universities; state patronage in terms of the commercialization of innovations; integration of training with research, innovation and organizational activities  at the personal level; promotion of innovations within the educational ecosystem and beyond. The success thedevelopment of innovative educational ecosystems will be determined not by single decisions from the federal level or individual private initiatives of universities, teachers and students, but by ensuring all factors of the development of educational ecosystems in their systemic unity

Retail Trading in Options and the Rise of the Big Three Wholesalers

    Get PDF
We document a rapid increase in retail trading in options in the United States. Facilitated by payment for order flow (PFOF) from wholesalers executing retail orders, retail trading recently reached over 60% of total market volume. Nearly 90% of PFOF comes from three wholesalers. Exploiting new flags in transaction‐level data, we isolate wholesaler trades and build a novel measure of retail options trading. Our measure comoves with equity‐based retail activity proxies and drops significantly during U.S. brokerage platform outages and trading restrictions. Retail investors prefer cheaper, weekly options with average bid‐ask spread of 12.6%, and lose money on average
