Applying beetroot as food ingredient in ice-cream production
The development of new food products with functional ingredients of plant origin is
highly promising and relevant direction in food industry. Assortment of products, including ice
cream is constantly expanding due to the introduction of various plant ingredients into its
composition, enriching the product with health beneficial nutrients. In this study, beetroot (Beta
vulgaris) was selected as a plant component for ice cream production. The roots of common beets
contain many useful inorganic and organic substances, such as carbohydrates, proteins, organic
acids, mineral salts, betalaines, vitamins, folic acid and betaine. The influence of different thermal
treatment techniques of beetroots on the content of dry substances and organoleptic properties of
beetroot puree have been compared and analyzed. The heat exposure technique recommended for
beetroots is microwave processing for 9 minutes at a power of 800 watts. This method of heat
treatment ensures the culinary readiness of vegetable raw materials while preserving dry
substances in it, including betanine. The effect of the beetroot puree dose on the formation of the
ice cream quality was studied. The recommended dose of the beetroot puree was established as 20%

A New Integer Linear Programming Formulation to the Inverse QSAR/QSPR for Acyclic Chemical Compounds Using Skeleton Trees
33rd International Conference on Industrial, Engineering and Other Applications of Applied Intelligent Systems, IEA/AIE 2020, Kitakyushu, Japan, September 22-25, 2020.Computer-aided drug design is one of important application areas of intelligent systems. Recently a novel method has been proposed for inverse QSAR/QSPR using both artificial neural networks (ANN) and mixed integer linear programming (MILP), where inverse QSAR/QSPR is a major approach for drug design. This method consists of two phases: In the first phase, a feature function f is defined so that each chemical compound G is converted into a vector f(G) of several descriptors of G, and a prediction function ψ is constructed with an ANN so that ψ(f(G)) takes a value nearly equal to a given chemical property π for many chemical compounds G in a data set. In the second phase, given a target value y∗ of the chemical property π , a chemical structure G∗ is inferred in the following way. An MILP M is formulated so that M admits a feasible solution (x∗, y∗) if and only if there exist vectors x∗, y∗ and a chemical compound G∗ such that ψ(x∗)=y∗ and f(G∗)=x∗. The method has been implemented for inferring acyclic chemical compounds. In this paper, we propose a new MILP for inferring acyclic chemical compounds by introducing a novel concept, skeleton tree, and conducted computational experiments. The results suggest that the proposed method outperforms the existing method when the diameter of graphs is up to around 6 to 8. For an instance for inferring acyclic chemical compounds with 38 non-hydrogen atoms from C, O and S and diameter 6, our method was 5×104 times faster
COMPLEX PROGRAMS FOR MODELING HIGHWAY: PARK, PROFILE AND COMPOSITION
The main part of developing computer-aided design of roads are simulation systems to see the road in action. Modeling of the functioning of the road in such a simulation system - this test road design in the computer. This article describes three modules: PARK, PROFILE, COMPOSITION and comprising a set of process simulation programs functioning road. A significant increase in the accuracy of simulation results provides software parks established normative reference database of technical and economic parameters of vehicles belonging to the stream. Completeness framework allows continuous adjustment and constant up-dating of the parameters types of cars in different scales calculation excludes construction and operating costs in justifying economic calculations optimality design solutions and increases the reliability of evaluating the effectiveness of capital investments in the construction and reconstruction of roads. Optimization of the design solutions in general, as a single continuous sequence of combinations of elements contributes to road profile program that analyzes the geometric elements of the plan, longitudinal section, compressing the geometry information of the way for the subsequent modeling of the functioning of the road. Program PROFILE (and built on its basis BASIS program, PROFILE) is a nexus between the projecting programs and programs that simulate traffic. Transport and road performance computer modeled for a particular stream of automobile. Technical and economic parameters of vehicles belonging to the flow (up to 20, which is sufficient for practical and research tasks) and their percentage in the flow of the program selects COMPOSITION regulatory reference framework articulated earlier PARK module and writes them to a working file for their subsequent use module RIDE
Aspirin and extended-release dipyridamole versus clopidogrel for recurrent stroke
Background
Recurrent stroke is a frequent, disabling event after ischemic stroke. This study compared
the efficacy and safety of two antiplatelet regimens — aspirin plus extendedrelease
dipyridamole (ASA–ERDP) versus clopidogrel.
Methods
In this double-blind, 2-by-2 factorial trial, we randomly assigned patients to receive
25 mg of aspirin plus 200 mg of extended-release dipyridamole twice daily or to receive
75 mg of clopidogrel daily. The primary outcome was first recurrence of stroke.
The secondary outcome was a composite of stroke, myocardial infarction, or death
from vascular causes. Sequential statistical testing of noninferiority (margin of 1.075),
followed by superiority testing, was planned.
Results
A total of 20,332 patients were followed for a mean of 2.5 years. Recurrent stroke
occurred in 916 patients (9.0%) receiving ASA–ERDP and in 898 patients (8.8%) receiving
clopidogrel (hazard ratio, 1.01; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.92 to 1.11). The
secondary outcome occurred in 1333 patients (13.1%) in each group (hazard ratio for
ASA–ERDP, 0.99; 95% CI, 0.92 to 1.07). There were more major hemorrhagic events
among ASA–ERDP recipients (419 [4.1%]) than among clopidogrel recipients (365
[3.6%]) (hazard ratio, 1.15; 95% CI, 1.00 to 1.32), including intracranial hemorrhage
(hazard ratio, 1.42; 95% CI, 1.11 to 1.83). The net risk of recurrent stroke or major
hemorrhagic event was similar in the two groups (1194 ASA–ERDP recipients [11.7%],
vs. 1156 clopidogrel recipients [11.4%]; hazard ratio, 1.03; 95% CI, 0.95 to 1.11).
Conclusions
The trial did not meet the predefined criteria for noninferiority but showed similar rates
of recurrent stroke with ASA–ERDP and with clopidogrel. There is no evidence that either
of the two treatments was superior to the other in the prevention of recurrent
stroke. (ClinicalTrials.gov number, NCT00153062.
FRUIT AND BERRY CROPS IN THE ENVIRONMENTS OF THE BUZULUKSKY BOR NATIONAL PARK
Buzuluksky Bor is the name of the largest woodland in the steppe zone (86,600 ha) of Northern Eurasia, and the only one in the Transvolga steppe. Woody vegetation of this forest consists of conifers (70%) and broadleaf trees (30%). Many of the latter produce edible fruits and berries. In addition to indigenous species, a significant part is formed by the introduced ones which have adapted to the specific conditions of this woodland. In 2007, a large area of the pine forest became part of the Buzuluksky Bor National Park
