THE BRYOPHYTE FLORA OF THE ERDŐTELEK ARBORETUM IN HUNGARY
Abstract: According to the present investigations 54 bryophyte species were
collected in the Arboretum of Erdőtelek, including 3 liverworts and 51 mosses.
Most of this species are common in Hungary, one of them is vulnerable
(Orthotrichum patens) and three species are listed as near threatened in the
Hungarian Red Data List: Brachythecium glareosum, Cirriphyllum piliferum and
Orthotrichum obtusifolium. In the recent paper a comparison of the number of
bryophytes recorded in Hungarian botanical gardens and arboretums is
presented

Toll receptorok és tumorantigének rheumatoid arthritisben = Toll-like receptors and tumor antigens in rheumatoid arthritis
A TAA-k szénhidrát oldalláncaik révén sejtadhéziós molekulaként funkcionálnak. | As a consequence of modern therapies, chronic comorbidities, such as secondary malignancies have become major issues in relation to autoimmune-rheumatic diseases. There is increased cancer morbidity and mortality in these conditions. Therefore, it is very important to diagnose and treat these patients early and tumor screening may be crucial in patients at high risk. Tumor-associated antigens (TAA) may be involved in the pathogenesis and/or laboratory diagnostics of autoimmune-inflammatory diseases. By their sialylated carbohydrate motifs, they are involved in cell adhesion, thus most TAA-s are expressed on the surface of inflammatory leukocytes, as well as tumor cells. Results of this study indicate that the production of some TAAs, such as CEA, CA 19-9, CA 125, CA 15-3 and CA 72-4, may be increased in RA, SLE and SSc in comparison to control subjects. In addition, serum concentrations of some TAAs are correlated with indicators of disease activity, as well as some organ manifestations. Thus the detection of soluble TAAs may have pathogenic, clinical and prognostic relevances in autoimmune rheumatic diseases. Assessment of the clinical aspects of secondary malignancies and soluble TAAs may help us to understand similar mechanisms of autoimmunity and tumorgenesis. Preliminary data on TLRs suggest that the expression of TLR4 and TLR9 is increased on peripheral blood leukocytes from RA patients compared to normal controls
Az energiamentes édesítőszerek alkalmazásának hatása klinikai vizsgálatok, in vitro és állatkísérletek eredményei alapján
Absztrakt
támogathatják a testtömeg optimális szinten tartását. Ez az előnyös hatás
azonban gyakran megkérdőjeleződik, ugyanis az energiamentes édesítőszereket
összefüggésbe hozzák az édes íz iránti vágy fenntartásával, illetve fokozásával
és az édességek, édes italok túlzott fogyasztásával. A legújabb vizsgálatok
segítik a testtömegkontrollt. Számos, elsősorban sejttenyészeteken végzett,
illetve állatkísérletes vizsgálat felveti az energiamentes édesítőszerek
jótékony anyagcserehatásait, például a kisebb mértékű ectopiás zsír
felszaporodását a máj- és izomszövetben a kontrollcsoporthoz képest. Ezek
mellett megfigyelték a fokozott adipogenezis, illetve a csökkent lipolízis
kialakulását is. Orv. Hetil., 2016, 157(Szuppl. 1), 3–7
THE BRYOPHYTE DIVERSITY OF CENTRAL PARK (ARCHBISHOP’S GARDEN) OF EGER TOWN (HUNGARY)
The objective of the present work was the evaluation of the bryophyte
diversity of the central park of Eger town. Altogether 59 taxa (4 liverworts and 55
mosses) were recorded. Nearly half of the identified species (49%) belong to three
families: Orthotrichaceae, Pottiaceae, and Brachytheciaceae. Brachythecium
glareosum, Cirriphyllum piliferum, Eucladium verticillatum, Orthotrichum
obtusifolium and Orthotrichum pumilum are rated near threatened (NT) according
to the Hungarian Red List. Some of the taxa found in Eger were not known from
other central east european urban parks (Ctenidium molluscum,
Hygroamblystegium tenax, Pohlia melanodon, Cirriphyllum crassinervium, Hypnum
cupressiforme var. lacunosum, Orthotrichum stramineum and Orthotrichum
striatum). There are remarkable differences between central park of Eger and
other Central and Eastern European parks regarding species composition and the
percentage of species in each of the life strategy categories
