Shoulder pain (SP) is the most common problem in workers exposed to repetitive shoulder activity in their occupation. The petrol pump workers, who have repetitive activities of shoulder joint by picking and keeping the nozzle at petrol pump station.  This repetitive activity increases the demand on the muscles, ligaments, soft tissues of musculoskeletal system. This activity is carried out in standing posture. So the purpose of the present study is to know the prevalence of shoulder pain in petrol pump workers. So, the aim of the present study the prevalence of shoulder pain in petrol pump workers. A Observational –Cross sectional study done on 100 Petrol Pump Workers selected randomly with the job profile of filling the fuel with nozzle in vehicles 20 – 40 years of age  working since > 6months, without any shoulder injury, trauma and  neurological musculoskeletal problem. Questionnaire was prepared and validated. Non Parametric Test Were Applied. In this study only 49% Petrol Pump Workers people had shoulder pain where as 51% did not shoulder pain had. The study shows that Petrol Pump workers ageing from 31 – 40 years who have experience of profession more than 5 years often suffer from shoulder pain which may be associated with repetitive activity of shoulder and faulty posture while working

Intelligent Way of Secure and Privacy Preserving Information Brokering

In recently large amount of information are collected in multiple organizations like health care organization, Law enforcement center, and government system. This needs of inter communication security through efficiently information sharing. Information Brokering System is collecting and re?distributing information among organization. Information brokering system fully trust on broker, who satisfied user requirement to find out particular data server without knowing address which contain data which user want. Large amount of detail data broker are collected from million providers authenticate user and routing the request to particular user. With increasing protection and privacy of data we introduce Preserve & secure privacy information brokering system. In that system fully trusted on broker we produce broker-coordinator overlay. The sensitive data encrypted before outsourcing user & data privacy. To enrich privacy used Cryptosystem with the use of Selective encryption using AES. We focused two types of privacy attacks namely inference attack and attribute-correlation attack. Solutions of this problem for preventing these attacks are automaton segmentation & segment encryption. By using these algorithm the PPIB system using web platform will require less time than Distributed PPIB. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15074

PREVALENCE OF ALTERED FOOT POSTURE IN OSTEOARTHRITIS OF KNEE

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a non-inflammatory progressive degenerative disorder of weight bearing joint. Changes in foot posture may cause increased mechanical rotational stress on the knee joint and may alter alignment and dynamic function of lower limb. To understand the effect of foot orthosis and footwear modification as a non-operative treatment and to identify patients who are most likely to benefit from it, greater knowledge of foot structure in this population is required to find altered foot posture in medial and lateral compartment OA knee using Navicular Drop Test (NDT) and Arch Index (AI). A cross sectional study done on 100 Osteoarthritis patients diagnosed with ACR clinically diagnostic criteria. Patients were evaluated using NDT and AI. NDT: Using a rigid ruler the height of navicular tuberosity in neutral talus position and relaxed standing position was measured. AI: A foot print was taken on graph paper and divided into 3 equal parts A (anterior), B(middle), C(posterior). The results showed that 64% had medial compartmental OA knee and 36% had lateral compartmental OA knee. Out of total population patient showed equal amount of pronation and supination i.e. 36%, while 28% having no alteration in foot posture. Medial compartment had 19.20% pronated foot due to knee adduction moment arm. 28.12% had supinated foot in order to decrease load on lateral compartment and to delay further degenerative process. The study concluded that medial compartment OA and lateral compartment OA showed more pronated and supinated foot type respectively

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF MOUTH DISSOLVING TABLET OF MELOXICAM USING NATURAL SUPERDISINTEGRANTS

Objective: The objective of the present work was the preparation and evaluation of mouth dissolving tablets (MDTs) of meloxicam using natural superdisintegrants. Methods: Meloxicam is BCS Class II (low soluble, and high permeable) drug increasing the dissolution properties of the poorly water-soluble drug meloxicam using a solid dispersion method (solvent evaporation method). Solvent evaporation method using drug and carrier as polyethylene glycol (PEG)-6000 and PEG-15,000 the ratio of 1:1, 1:2 (drug:carrier), and acetone as solvent. In house prepared banana powder were used as natural superdisintegrant. Manufacturing of MDT was done by the direct compression method. In this MDTs, various excipients were used such as mannitol used as the diluent, sodium saccharin used as a sweetening agent, Avicel pH-102 used as a binding agent, and talc and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) used as lubricant and glidant. The best formula of the tablet was selected according to the disintegration time (DT) and friability tests. Results: The results have shown that an increase in the meloxicam solubility was obtained using solid dispersion with the solvent evaporation method using PEG-15000 as a carrier in the ratio of 1:2 (drug:carrier). Taste masking was also done by a solid dispersion method. Tablet prepared with in house prepared banana powder gave less DT (70 s) as compared to tablet prepared with branded banana powder (80 s), but formulation F5 failed in friability testing. Improved strength of tablet obtained using SLS (<1%) also showed an increase in the dissolution performance of the tablet in formulation F6. This F6 formulation having 10% natural super disintegrating agent (in house prepared banana powder) has shown 99% cumulative drug release within 18 min. It also passed the friability test. Conclusion: Accordingly, the solubility of meloxicam was successfully enhanced through solid dispersion with carrier PEG-15,000 and formulated as a MDT to improve its oral absorption. PEG has also been used as a taste masking agent in these formulations. It was concluded that in house banana powder had excellent DT as compared to branded banana powder. Banana powder is “economical” and “easily available” than other commonly used synthetic superdisintegrants. The process of banana powder preparation is eco friendly. The meloxicam MDT formulated with natural superdisintegrant in house prepared banana powder found to pass all pharmacopeial tests
