IMPACT OF THE FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP DIMENSIONS ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN DIVERSE ORGANIZATION IN PAKISTAN
This paper examines the connections among the dimensions of functional leadership of situation clarification, strategy clarification, coordination leadership, and organizational performance within highly gender-diverse organizations in Pakistan. A sample of 500 employees from universities in Pakistan was taken. The data collection process was conducted among the university employees. For data analysis PLS-SEM through SmartPLS3 was employed. The results of the study indicate that within the higher education sector in Pakistan, the distinct dimensions of functional leadership of situation clarification, strategy clarification and coordination leadership individually exert a positive and noteworthy influence on organizational performance. These results carry strong message for leaders to adopt and apply these functional leadership dimensions to improve the overall performance of the organization. The findings strongly support the notion that implementing effective functional leadership dimensions of situation clarification, strategy clarification and coordination leadership can significantly enhance organizational performance. The outcomes robustly affirm the idea that the efficacy that these dimensions of functional leadership are pivotal in augmenting organizational performance
Teacher’s Perception on Promotion of Peace Education through Social Studies Subject among Elementary Schools Students
Education is a social process to bring change in the behavior of the individual consequently modification and transformation of minds can be taken so that individual would be able to live in the society with complete harmony and peace. That is why integration of peace education in the curriculum of social studies and organization of activities in the school are the best way to achieve desired goals. Present study was designed to explore perception of elementary schools’ teachers regarding peace education and to what extent they would be able to promote peace education in classroom setting among elementary schools’ student so that change in their behavior can be made toward a peaceful society. The descriptive method of research was used to collect the data from the sample of the study. Fifty percent elementary school (188) teachers with equal ratio of male female and rural urban were included in the sample of the study from the district Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Questionnaire was used to collect the data. The findings of the study indicate that majority of elementary school teachers are quite clear about perception of peace education such as human rights and responsibilities, respect to others, i.e., culture, sects, creeds and multi ethnics etc. They tried to mobilize the students, regarding peace education in their classroom setting.
