    oai:e-journal.unair.ac.id:article/1483ABSTRACT Stagnant and stockout of drug  are the effects from  the drug logistic management. In average of 52.43% stagnant and 19.08% stockout from 118 types of drugs in Primary Health Care from January to December 2014. This research aimed to analyzed drug management and the safety stock control of stagnant and stockout in Primary Health Care.This was quantitative research with descriptive method. Primary data was obtained by interview and observation. Secondary data obtained from LPLPO and drug planning data, it can be calculated for drug’s planning and safety stock required. Planning and procurement of drugs proposed for 2014 only has the suitability of 16,03% with the use of drugs by 2014. Receipt of drugs have a large enough discrepancy that is 76,93% of the demand for drugs in Primary Health Care. Distribution of drugs is less well with only 50% according to the procedure. Monitoring and control of the drugs have a quite well with 60% according to the procedure. While, no safety stock calculations at the Primary Health planning proposals in 2014. Process of drug management at Primary Health Care is not good enough. It needs improvements in systems planning, procurement, receipt, distribution, monitoring and control of drugs.  Keywords: drug management, safety stock control, primary health car

    The Impact of Individual, Job and Organizational Factors on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intentions of Nurses

    Work satisfaction and turnover intention are two important aspects regarding human resource in health service. The research was aimed to analyze the impact of individual, job and organizational factors on jobsatisfaction and turnover intention of nurses in the clinic “Balai Pengobatan Santa Familia” (BPSF), East Kalimantan. The research applied analytical observation method. Data were collected by interviewing nurses in the intensive care unit and in the nursing unit of BPSF. The research showed that most nurses was still in young age but with low commitment and high turnover intention. The workload and conflicts in BPSF was high. Moreover the work affiliation, compensation and work development tend to be low. This caused a low work satisfaction and high turnover intention. Through the application of the double linear regression statistic test, job design has significant impact on job satisfaction (Sig. 0,013, regression coefficient 2,037). The work affiliation and leadership have significant influence to turnover intention (Sig. 0,003, regression coefficient 0,906) as well as leadership (sig. 0,009, regression B= 0,895). This study concluded that job design and leadership had significant impact on job satisfaction and turnover intention.     Prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in Nursing: A Systematic Review

    Background: The burnout syndrome is significant problem in modern working environtment and its prevalence has increased substantially. Objectives: This systematic review aimed to evaluate the literature on reducing nurse burnout, to estimate the prevalence of burnout, to identify the variables related to burnout and to propose a risk profile for this syndrome among the nursing. Methods: We identified articles through databases searching: Sage, Proquest, Science Direct, Springerlink, and EbscoHost, published between 2006- 2016, search terms include various combination of the terms “Burnout Syndrome”, and “nursing”. Result: Five studies were included in this review. The prevalence of burnout among nursing professionals is high. Personal factors such as demographic variables, personal stress, and personality characteristics were predictive of burnout. Work related factors such as work stress, work environment, job characteristics and organizational variables were also found to be determinants of burnout in this population. Conclusion: The prevalence of burnout among nursing professionals is high. Personal stress, job satisfaction, work stress, quality of care, work environment are determinants of burnout. As a consequence specific action targets for hospital management are formulated to prevent burnout in nurses. Nurse staffing strategies need to be evaluated within developing context to ascertain in their effectiveness

    Organizational Commitment Can Improve Compliance of Blood Transfusion Procedure

    The purpose of this research was to improve compliance of nurses and midwives on blood transfusion procedures through increased organizational commitment. The study used observational analytic with cross sectional approach. 156 nurses and midwives who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria agreed to participates respondents and 46 observers agrees involved in the collection of data through informed consent. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. Data instrument collectors in the form of checklists and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used in the form of descriptive analysis, correlation, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the findings of a new model, a model compliance nurses and midwives on blood transfusion procedures, organizational commitment can improve compliance procedure of blood transfusion if affective commitment and normative commitment improved

    Job Satisfaction on Nursing Staff at Hospital: A Systematic Review

    Objective: summarizes the empirical research on job satisfaction on the nurse with the aim of improving the quality of health services. Method: review the article with a systematic review method that uses PICO method-based article search from four international databases reporting on nurses' job satisfaction. Result: from the search got 15 articles covering about nurse, job satisfaction, and quality of health service. Discussion: nursing work satisfaction can be influenced by work environment, organizational support, working conditions, work engagement, empowerment and commitment. Conclusions: this study provides a broad overview of job satisfaction on nurses focused on nurses working in hospitals

    Analysis of Service Gaps in Outpatient Polyclinic Using Customer Window

    Patient complaints toward service at Undaan Eyes Hospital in 2015 amounted to 9 complaints, and has not yet reached target set by the hospital which was equal to 0 complaints. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze gaps in expected service and perceived service of responsiveness, reliability and emphatyat UndaanEyes Hospital. This research was an analytic observational survey and to be analyzed by customer window. Sample were in equal to 98 people and collected by systematic random sampling. The result showed from the analysis of the customer windowwas that some aspects in service are in quadrant A or Attention, which patient expected service higher than perceived service. Some aspects that were in Attention quadrant, are: waiting time > 30 minutes, speed of service delivery was slow and lack information. It can be concluded that some of the things that are in quadrant A or Attention is a strategic issue that must consider and resolve byUndaan Eyes Hospital to meet the expectations of patients

    Consumer Behavior Analysis in Inpatient Obstetrics Gynecology Surabaya Islamic Hospital

    Bed Occupancy Rate in Maternity Ward Surabaya Islamic Hospital during the past three years did not meet the Ministry Of Health standard. This study analyzed consument behavior of Surabaya Islamic Hospital as recomendation in increasing the utilization of its maternity ward. This was an observational research with case control design. The sample was consisted of cases and controls in 1:1 ratio (36 cases and 36 controls). Sample of cases was the patients of Arofah Room Surabaya Islamic Hospital. Control samples was the mother who resides in the same area of cases residence and did not bear in Surabaya Islamic Hospital. The results showed there are different types of work (p = 0,004), family income (p = 0,046), perception of pregnancy and childbirth (p = 0,004), perception of the facility (p = 0,022), perception about normal delivery rates (p = 0,048) and caesarean delivery rates (p = 0,032), work activities (p = 0,030), and satisfaction between cases and controls. Management of Surabaya Islamic Hospital need to create doctors and midwives service differentiation, labor rates rationalization, midwives and health centers partnership, ambulance shuttle services, and also public promotion about operating hours, birth rates, and package delivery.Key words: consumer behavior, perception, utilization of inpatient obstetrics gynecolog

    The Effectivity of Nursing Intervention Implementation on Elderly Hypertension in Public Health Center of Mangasa, Makassar City

    Abstract South Sulawesi is one of eleven provinces in Indonesia with elderly population in more than 7%. Hypertension case in South Sulawesi is more than the average that is 27% and for Makassar city was in 34%. Based on the interview result with a person who had responsibility ofpublic health care program in Public Health Center of Mangasa, Makassar, the average of visits was from hypertension patients who were more than 60 years old in last three months and the patients were 85 elders in a month. Based on report in Public Health Center of Mangasa, the total of hypertension case, which the patients visited to Public Health Center, was 1746 cases and they were the most third case. Therefore, it was needed a society devotion with the purpose of implementing health education, concerning hypertension and other diseases that concerned with hypertension, medical check, and hypertension exercise. The method used was health education, blood pressure checks, blood test (blood sugar, uric acid, cholesterol), and hypertension exercise. The result of society devotion was the increase of elders’ knowledge based on pre and posttest mark, the decrease of their blood pressure after 10 times doing hypertension exercise, the decrease ofblood sugar and uric acid after the exercise and after having health education, and the increase of the participants in hypertension exercise during 10 times exercises. Moreover, the suggestion from this society devotion that it was needed the activity of effective nursing intervention to solve health problem on elders
