The cervical hypersensitivity tooth was analysed and treated by application of a varnish with high fluoride ions content (Duraphat) and of a glass ionomer cement usually indicated to cavity lining (XR-ionomer-Kerr). This technique was applied in sixty-seven teeth of Clinic Graduation patients (Faculdade de Odontologia de Araçatuba) and demonstrated a high index of satisfactory results.
