Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Dasar Pendidikan Karakter Guru SMP Dan SMA Di Kabupaten Sleman

This research aims to determine (1). Measuring the teacher in actualizing the fundamental values of character education in schools through the educational process, (2) The basic values of character education actualizing by teacher through education in schools. (3) Why the basic values of character education need to be socialized in the educational process in schools. The research was conducted on 369 of junior and senior high school teachers in Sleman district which consist of 233 junior high school teachers (136 state junior high school teachers and 97 private junior high school teachers), and 136 senior high school teachers (95 state senior high school teachers and 41 private senior high school teachers). Sampling was conducted by cluster random sampling. This research was conducted with closed and open questionnaire method. Data analysis was performed with the percentage and qualitative analysis. The results showed (1) The actualization of character education in the form of a critical attitude, honesty, responsibility, discipline, compassion and sincerity that made by the junior and senior high school are in very high category. (2) The actualization of the basic values of character education in the educational process carried out by example or imitation, to give an example, admonish, notify, sanctions, and task. (3). The basic values of character education needs to be done by teacher habituation because these values ??are essential and necessary in human life, both for self-development, social and religious

Decentralization (devolution, delegation and deconcentration) has provided space for the empowerment of social energy that is caring fellow citizens against the interests of each other in a mutually synergistic. Community was well aware that social awareness, social resilience is important and should be developed to deal with hard life in the social and physical environment. Social institutions in the form of “splice”, mutual assistance, remain there despite facing all the change of time, because these institutions are basically able to answer the needs of the community. Social institutions necessary for the preparation of management programs can be synergy, and the implications for the implementation of the program. Involvement and community empowerment can be done with a model of participatory policy-making theory and the theory of metaphore arena, where every stakeholder should be empowered in the arena of decision making

THE EFFECTIVENESS BETWEEN DISCOVERY LEARNING AND WORD WALL METHODS IN IMPROVING VOCABULARY AT SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS

Some of the teacher is having a problem when using discovery learning as a method to improve the vocabulary of a student. Based on the objective of this research, the writer conduct wordwall method on SMP mutiara 1 Bandung that will help on improving student vocabulary, and hopefully it can be applied simultaneously to increase interest in learning especially in English course in SMP Mutiara 1 Bandung. Based on the results of research that has been done by the writer, there are very helpful results in developing the method of Word Wall as a teaching material capable of improving the quality of learning and also can improve students vocabulary. THE EFFECTIVNESS TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION USING GROUP WORK DISCUSSION METHOD

This study aims at knowing how the effective teaching reading comprehension by using group work discussion method of the tenth grade students at SMKNPlered.The research design which is used in qualitative descriptive with one group.  The subjects of this research were students from Industrial Automation Engineering 2 (TOI 2) of vocational high school Plered. The instruments used were interview, pre-test and post-test with the material recount text. From the reading skill test, the students’ pre-test mean score was 61.55 increasing to 81,89 in the post-test. So, it can be concluded that teaching reading by using group work discussion method an effective improve the students’ reading skill

THE USE PUZZLE BOARD IN TEACHING ENGLISH YOUNG LEARNERS AT ONE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL IN CIMAHI

Teaching English for elementary school level is very challenging to achieve goals in teaching. Therefore teachers are required to teach optimally according to the very diverse character of students in receiving lessons because currently English in elementary schools is not included in the core subject but is an extracurricular school. Therefore the teacher is expected to provide maximum knowledge in the delivery of the material being taught so that students can meet the needs that will be faced in the future. here the teacher uses media in teaching where the media can make students more active and effective. The purpose of this study was to examine student responses in learning, increase student interest and increase student creativity in learning English. The study was conducted at SD Baros Mandiri 3 Cimahi. The research method used in the research is observation, document analysis, interviews and the media used by the teacher is a puzzle board. ANALYZING THE DEIXIS OF SOUNDTRACK SONG OF MULAN “REFLECTION”

The objectives of this study are to identify and analyze the different types of deixis that are utilized in the song lyric, as well as to determine which deixis is the most prevalent. The writers chose Christina Aguilera’s song entitled Reflection that rising to the top again nowadays which composed in beautiful lyric that touch listeners’ heart. The qualitative research method was applied in this study. There are three sorts of deixis, according to the findings: personal deixis, temporal deixis, and spatial deixis.
