Regularity of density for SDEs driven by degenerate L\'evy noises
By using Bismut's approach about the Malliavin calculus with jumps, we study
the regularity of the distributional density for SDEs driven by degenerate
additive L\'evy noises. Under full H\"ormander's conditions, we prove the
existence of distributional density and the weak continuity in the first
variable of the distributional density. Under the uniform first order Lie's
bracket condition, we also prove the smoothness of the density.Comment: 25 page
Decision-making in Proactive Remanufacturing Based on Online Monitoring
AbstractConsidering the uncertainty quality of the remanufacturing, this paper presents the proactive remanufacturing which is actively carried at an optimal time. To identify the optimal time, the decision-making model is given based on online monitoring signals. Informed by wavelet-packet de-noise and singular value decomposition, establishing the mapping relationship between components failure and using feature of products. With the simulating test on crankshaft of engine, the vibrating signals of different wear condition in crankshaft journal are analyzed, extracted and compared, which can establish the mapping relationship. Thus, it could make the proactive remanufacturing decision with the optimal wearing condition in crankshaft
Tryptophan-kynurenine pathway as a novel link between gut microbiota and schizophrenia: A review
Gut microbiota and its metabolite tryptophan play an important role in regulating neurotransmission, immune homeostasis and oxidative stress which are critical for brain development. The kynurenine pathway is the main route of tryptophan catabolism. Kynurenine metabolites regulate many biological processes including host-microbiome communication, immunity and oxidative stress, as well as neuronal excitability. The accumulation of metabolites produced by kynurenine pathway in brain results in the activation of the immune system (increase in the levels of inflammatory factors) and oxidative stress (production of reactive oxygen species, ROS), which are associated with mental disorders, for example schizophrenia. Thus, it was hypothesized that perturbations in kynurenine pathway could cause activation of immunity, and that oxidative stress may be involved in the etiology of schizophrenia. The present work is a review of the latest studies on the possible role of kynurenine pathway in schizophrenia, and mechanism(s) involved
Studies on LeftâBehind Children in China: Reviewing Paradigm Shifts
More than 60 million children have been left behind in rural China by parents going to work in cities. Given the effects of childâparent separation (CPS) on development, this phenomenon has drawn considerable governmental and academic attention in recent years. Outlining developments with reference to relevant studies, this review characterizes the perspectives used to explore and understand this phenomenon in terms of three major paradigms: (1) the diagnostic approach, which takes for granted the assumption that CPS would be the only cause of negative effects observed among leftâbehind children (LBC), and has focused primarily on measuring psychological and behavioral disorders among these âproblematic kidsâ; (2) the advanced diagnostic approach, which refines the previous approach by incorporating theories and techniques developed outside of China, elaborating on the early approach by bringing into consideration more factors and exploring the interactions between CPS and these factors, particularly social ones; (3) the sociologically oriented approach, which provides the research with a much broader framework in terms of how to orient the phenomenon of LBC, especially the transformation of Chinaâs social and economic systems during the last 30 years of urbanization, where the reproduction of labor has been based on a âsplitting family structure,â such that problems associated with the phenomenon of LBC cannot be solved without systematic social and economic changes. Based on these analyses, future directions for research on LBC in China are also discussed.Peer Reviewedhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/147833/1/cad20267_am.pdfhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/147833/2/cad20267.pd
The Impact of Digital Platform Rapid Release Strategy on App Update Behavior: An Empirical Study of Firefox
The success of platform-based software ecosystems depends on the crucial coordination between the platform and third-party applications during co-evolution. Leveraging the change of platform release governance of Firefox, this paper examines the impact of the rapid release process on app update behavior (app responsiveness and app size change). Drawing on boundary resource perspective, we theorize how rapid release process as a social boundary resource affects app update behavior, and how app developersâ usage of technical boundary resource (i.e. platform API) affects this impact. Using a unique longitudinal dataset in Firefox, we conduct empirical analyses and conclude that the rapid release process decreases size change of app updates while platform API usage enhances app responsiveness. Moreover, platform API usage strengthens the effects of the rapid release process on app update behavior. This research enhances our understanding of the impact of platform governance practices on platform-third party coordination and provides practical guidance.
