Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di kelas VII-7 SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Hasil tes awal menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa rendah dengan nilai rata-rata kelas VII-7 adalah 48,33. Setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah I adalah 76 dengan jumlah siswa yang telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebanyak 21 orang (70%). Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dari siklus I pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah II adalah 81,33 dengan jumlah siswa yang telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebanyak 26 orang (86,67%). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif pembelajaran

Application Of The Simple Additive Weighting (Saw) Method In Determining The Restaurant Employees Worth To Be Promoted (Case Study: Xo Suki Restaurant & Dimsum Medan)

XO Suki & Dimsum Medan is a Japanese food restaurant that is full of enthusiasts. Every month the customers who visit this restaurant can reach 10,000 people. Therefore, the welfare of employees needs to be considered by business owners so that customer satisfaction is always maintained. To improve the welfare of employees, restaurant business owners have a way that makes employees more enthusiastic, namely by recruiting employees who have met the requirements for higher positions. By increasing the position of the employee, it will automatically increase their income as well. This is what makes XO Suki & Dimsum Medan employees feel at home to work at the restaurant. According to the results of observations made at the XO Suki & Dimsum Medan restaurant, that in the process of hiring employees or commonly known as promotion is still subjective, so the decision for employees who get a promotion becomes unfair. In making decisions that are not in accordance with the conditions that occur in the field. In decision making, many factors need to be considered, namely the following criteria: loyalty, honesty, responsibility, work performance, and work initiative. So far, job promotions carried out by superiors and business owners are still often based on the closest person and oldest employee. Sometimes when one of the employees resigns / escapes (stops) it suddenly results in the boss having to choose or find an urgent position and requires a quick decision. These things cause the results of the election or promotion to be inaccurate and unfair. In order to facilitate and speed up decision making regarding the promotion of XO Suki & Dimsum Medan employees, a system is needed that can manage and select these factors in order to get accurate, fast, and precise decisions

ANALISIS UNSUR MUSIK JAZZ DAN RAP PADA MUSIK ENIGMA KARYA INTHESKY BAND

Skripsi ini membahas tentang Analisis Unsur Musik Jazz dan Rap Pada Musik Enigma Karya Inthesky Band. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian partisipatif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa musik Enigma memiliki unsur-unsur musik jazz dan rap. Unsur musik jazz terdapat empat elemen, yaitu blue note, improvisasi, sinkopasi, dan shufle note.  Pada unsur rap yang ditemui pada musik Enigma, yaitu punchline. Lirik Enigma termasuk kedalam permainan kata-kata metafora. Pada ritme musik Enigma ditemui ada swing jazz dan suffle note yang memperjelas unsur jazz dan rap di dalamnya. Harapan penulis lewat skripsi ini dapat lebih memahami unsur-unsur musik jazz dan rap yang terkandung didalamnya. Karena itu dapat membantu luasnya pengetauan kita tentang genre musik yang ada di dunia

This study aimed to examine the impact of the internal control effectiveness and internal audit role toward the performance of  local government.This research was conducted by census. Data analysis methods to test the hypothesis was regression analysis using SPSS. The data is primary data collected through questionnaires. This study conducted the validity and reliability test before the hypothesis test.This study concludeds that there was a positive influence of the internal control effectiveness and internal audit role on the performance of local governments both simultaneously and partially. Penggunaan Instrumen Musik Taganing dan Keyboard dalam Iringan Nyanyian Ibadah Minggu di HKBP Palmarum Tarutung

This study aims to determine the use of traditional Toba Batak taganing music instruments in collaboration with modern Western keyboards/music instruments to the accompaniment of Sunday worship songs at the HKBP Palmarum Tarutung church in 2015. The research method uses a descriptive method which aims to describe the use of taganing and keyboard musical instruments to accompany the music. Sunday worship songs at the HKBP Palmarum Tarutung church. Based on the results of this study, suggestions are made for the congregation and parhalado (management) of the HKBP Palmarum Tarutung church to look for taganing players who can then explain the technique of playing the instrument in accompanying Sunday worship songs so that the hitting technique is more varied, as well as conducting comparative studies with the Gondang music studio and the University Medan State University, North Sumatra University and HKBP Nommensen University Medan. For other researchers, this invention can be used as a reference for research on the use of taganing musical instruments and keyboards to accompany Sunday worship songs

Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Layanan Informasi Terhadap Pengenalan Lingkungan Belajar Siswa Di Mal Uin-Su Medan

Guidance and counseling on the introduction of the learning environment that occurs in students of MAL UIN North Sumatra Medan. The information service provided is to introduce and convey a number of information needed by students, especially those relating to the introduction of the learning environment so that students can participate in learning activities as well as possible. The subjects of this study were students of MAL UIN North Sumatra TP 2016/2017, the total number of which consisted of class X, XI and XII, the total was 308 students. Meanwhile, as a sample, one class was taken, namely X.2 as many as 48 people. The data collection instrument used in addition to observations, interviews and document studies used a questionnaire regarding the implementation of information services (30 questions) and the introduction of the learning environment (32 questions), while the data analysis technique used specifically regarding the correlation between the implementation of information services and the introduction of the learning environment was Product Moment correlation technique. After analyzing and calculating the correlation between information services and the student learning environment, rxy = 0.648, the level of this relationship is included in the category of moderate relationship level interval. To find out whether the correlation between the information service variable and the student learning environment variable is accepted or not, the rcount value is compared with the rtable value. The rtable value for n=48 and the significance level of = 5% is 0.284. The value of rcount > rtable value or 0.648 > 0.284, it can be concluded that information services have a significant relationship with the learning environment of MAL UIN North Sumatra students. So from the results of the calculation of the coefficients above, it can be seen that 41.96% of the student learning environment of MAL UIN North Sumatra is influenced by information services and the remaining 58.04% is a factor from outside this research

Identifying Personal Characteristics of Social Media Entrepreneurs in Indonesia

Social media is currently not only used to communicate with friends but as a platform for business. This trend has been increasing since the Covid-19 pandemic, where more and more people are using it to buy and sell. However, there are doubts in running a business through social media, i.e., the absence of the right business strategy, understanding of business competition, and the personal characteristics of the people it needs. Therefore, this study aims to determine the ideal personal characteristics needed in running a social media-based business. Using qualitative research methods, data analysis from 20 interviews identifies twelve characters, six of which are critical to someone who has good potential to do business on social media and who can make the most of it. The suitability of an entrepreneur’s character and the demands of doing business on social media will lead to positive attitudes that are key to business success
