    Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi salah satu faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi konsep diri remaja adalah keluarga. Pola asuh orang tua merupakan bagian dari keluarga yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Setiap siswa merasakan pola asuh yang berbeda dan memiliki konsep diri yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran perbedaan konsep diri peserta didik kelas VIII dilihat dari pola asuh orang tua. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak (random sampling). Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembang Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara umum konsep diri peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN Negeri 1 Lembang berada pada kategori tinggi atau positif yaitu 97,26% (142 peserta didik) dan Pola asuh yang paling banyak dirasakan oleh peserta didik adalah pola asuh authoritatif 32,19% (47 peserta didik). Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara konsep diri siswa yang dilihat dari pola asuh authoritatif, autoritarian, permisif memanjakan dan permisif tidak peduli.     Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas Teknik Assertive Training untuk meningkatkan harga diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitian true eksperimen pre test – post test control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKN 12 Bandung dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas XI yang ditentukan secara random. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah adaptasi dari Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI). Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara empirik, Intervensi Teknik Assertive Training teruji efektif untuk meningkatkan harga diri peserta didik.---- The purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of Assertive Training Technique to develop students’ self-esteem. This research used quantitative approach and true experiment pretest – posttest control group design as research design. The research was conducted in SMKN 12 Bandung subjecting students’ of grade XI chosen randomly. Research instrument being used was an adaptation of Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI).     Self-acceptance refers to individual satisfaction or happiness with itself that is necessary for good mental health. Adolescence who can accept themselves and acknowledge their condition are free to take advantage of the condition. They also acknowledge their weaknesses without blaming themselves. The using of group counselling service with Psychodrama Technique is expected for making an individual to accept its own condition. This research aimsto test the effectiveness of Psychodrama Technique for improving student’s self-acceptance in 16 Junior High School Bandung (8th class). Research method use pre-experiment, which is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data is gathered by using questionnaire as measuring instrument for self-acceptance. This instrument refers to Shepard’s aspect and Berger’s indicators. Total participants are 24 students (male: 10 persons and female: 14 persons). Data calculation analysis used descriptive statistics to see the increase of self-acceptance score and pre-test and post-test analysis. This research shows that Psychodrama Technique is effective to improve student’s self-acceptance

    PROFIL MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMPN 2 CICALENGKA

    The purpose of this researchis to provide an overview of the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMPN 2 Cicalengka. This study used a survey quantitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnairecontaining statements related to learning motivation given to 126 class VIII students at SMPN 2 Cicalengka as participants in this study. The results of the study revealed thatstudents' learning motivation was in the low category, namely as many as 86 students with a total percentage of 68%. As for the medium category, there are 35 students, which means around 28% of the total number. In the highcategory there are 5 students with a percentage of around 4%. Of the four components used to collect data, the component of students' positive thinking tendencies or optimism in learning is the component that has the lowest score among the other components of class VIII student motivation at SMPN 2 Cicalengka

    Self-esteem is a form of individual assessment of himself as an individual who has the ability, meaning, value and competence. Stepping on the transition period from elementary school to junior high school, every individual needs an adjustment to the new environment, one of which is that each individual must be able to show good behavior in the community, but if the individual has not been able to assess how far the individual assesses himself then will have an impact on the emergence of conflicts that come from within him and judge something irrationally which will have an impact on emotional disturbances that can affect his relationships with other people. The purpose of this study is that students are able to assess themselves, be able to socialize and be able to communicate well. This study uses descriptive qualitative by analyzing existing data by describing in detail. This study uses respondents totaling 6 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Soreang by looking at the results of observations that have been made tend to have self-esteem low. For this reason, it is necessary to provide BK services withtechniques assertive training for 3 meetings via video calls media WhatsApp which are supported by the results of interviews and observations showing changes from within students who are able to assess themselves, are able to think positively and can adapt well.

    PENGARUH LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KARIER TERHADAP MINAT KARIER SISWA KELAS XI SMA MUTIARA 2 BANDUNG

    This study aims to determine the effect of career guidance services on career interests of class XI students SMA Mutiara 2 Bandung. This research uses the research method of counseling guidance action (PTBK) with the subject of research as many as  20 students of clas XI SMA Mutiara 2 Bandung. The method of data collaction using observation, interviews, and research documentation. Consists of 2 cycles. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analytical analysis. The process of data analysis begins by examining all the data obtained, either though interviews or observations. Then described by using percentage analysis. The Results of the study indicate that in the initial conditions,students’ career intrests are still in the “not good” category, in the first cycle there are indicators that have increased in the “very good” category, namely the indicator of introduction to the world of work with descriptors knowing the world of work, with percentage of by 75% of the 15 students. While in the second cycle all indicators have increases by getting the “very good” category with a percentage of >80% on each indicator from 18 students. Thus, it can be concluded that career guidance services can affect the career interests of students in class XI SMA Muttiara 2 Bandung.

    This research aims to find out how group guidance services with discussion techniques increase the self-confidence of class XI high school students during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were six students of SMAN 1 Batujajar class XI IPS 2 who had low self-confidence. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done, there are changes in students before and after the implementation of group guidance services with discussion techniques provided by the guidance and counseling teacher. The conclusion of this study is that group guidance services with effective discussion techniques can help students increase the self- confidence of class XI high school students during the covid-19 pandemic

    Critical thinking skills, is an important asset that students must have as a provision for dealing with technological developments and the effects of globalization in the era of disruption towards the era of society 5.0. One effort to develop students' critical thinking skills is through the socratic dialogue method. In general, this study aims to find out how the effectiveness of the socratic dialogue method can develop the critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Batujajar in 2022-2023. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, non-equivalent control-group design. Sampling technique using non-probability homogenous sampling technique on 162 students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batujajar. Data collection uses a measuring tool in the form of a critical thinking skills test instrument. The results of the study show: (1) the profile of students' critical thinking skills is generally in the medium category; (2) the socratic dialogue method is effective for developing critical thinking skills; (3) all aspects of critical thinking skills experience a significant increase in value with the treatment of the socratic dialogue method
