Use of soil thaw/freeze depth data to verify hydrological modelling at poor gauged basins in permafrost regions = Verwendung von Tau- und Gefrierdaten des Bodens zur Überprüfung eines hydrologischen Modells in schlecht beobachteten Permafrostgebieten
The distributed process-based runoff formation model Hydrograph was applied and tested against soil thaw/freeze depth and runoff data in different permafrost landscapes of the Kolyma Water-Balance station (KWBS). The parameterization describing different permafrost conditions was elaborated. Soil thaw/freeze depths were simulated for three sites comprising rocky talus, mountainous tundra and larch forest landscapes. The runoff model was applied and calibrated for the Kontaktovy Creek watershed (21.2 km2), which is covered by these respective land cover types. Runoff simulations were carried out for three poorly-gauged river basins (areas ranging from 1820 to 9560 km2) using the same soil and vegetation parameters of the calibrated model. The results have shown that the Hydrograph model can be reliably applied in the conditions of data limitation considering permafrost-related hydrological processes
An investigation of the polarization dependence of a temperature sensor based on an optical microfiber coupler
The dependence on polarization of the performance of a microfiber coupler based temperature sensor is experimentally investigated. The optical microfiber coupler based temperature sensor has a diameter circa 2µm and can sense temperature in the range from 100°C to 1000°C, with an average sensitivity of 18.9pm/°C. It is shown that different polarization states of the input signal have a significant influence on the proposed temperature sensing accuracy, with a estimated peak error of 63°C at 1000°C
Phraseological system of Russian : how to train foreigners?
The studying of the phraseological system of Russian supposes not just the knowledge or the acquisition of abilities to use it but the development of pupils to use other languages for communication.
The specifics of the perception of phraseological units are defined by the native language and by the second and the next following foreign languages. The figurative structure of the native language therefore accounting of the native language of pupils, features the culture of language, becoming the important didactic principle for the Russian phraseological units.
For training in the Russian phraseological units, it is necessary to use two main types of means: the natural language environment with all its extralinguistic components and various supportive applications creating more or less expressed illusion of familiarizing with the natural language environment.
A necessary element of work on the phraseological system of Russian is the semantization of phraseological units. In disclosure of value of a phraseological unit, the image defining its lexical - semantic structure is the key. The work on phraseological units by foreign audience has to assume disclosure of value of a phraseological unit by means of interpretation, transfer and a semantic guess and fixing based on specially developed exercises and texts.peer-reviewe

An approach to solving discrete vector optimization problems over a combinatorial set of permutations.
Complex discrete multicriteria problems over a combinatorial set of permutations are analyzed. Some
properties of an admissible domain for a combinatorial multicriteria problem embedded into an
arithmetic Euclidian space are considered. Optimality conditions are obtained for different types of
effective solutions. A new approach to solving the problems formulated is constructed and
substantiated
Vector optimization problems with linear criteria over a fuzzy combinatorial set of alternatives.
Vector optimization problems over a fuzzy combinatorial set of permutations are
investigated. Based on the properties of the convex hull of a fuzzy combinatorial set of permutations,
modifications of multicriteria choice methods are developed and substantiated for a fuzzy feasible
combinatorial set. Mathematical models of some application problems are presented

Separation of Q from carbon in CR meteorites during stepped combustion
Introduction: The nature of the planetary noble gas carrier (Q) in meteorites remains uncertain. It is known that it is likely to be carbonaceous, but represents only a small fraction of the total macromolecular material. Q is oxidisible with nitric and other oxidizing acids. It seems to be partly destroyed with pyridine and may have an organic structure. Previously, we have shown that during parent body thermal metamorphism Q is less affected than the majority of other carbonaceous materials. If organic matter is graphitized, as has happened in the enstatite chondrite parent bodies, Q remains unaffected. In the present study we have found that Q is also separable from the majority of carbon in type 2 and 3 CR chondrites during stepped combustion. It is possible that this is because Q has become encased within the matrix, in contrast to other carbon phases, during parent body metamorphism
Controlled light-matter coupling for a single quantum dot embedded in a pillar microcavity using far-field optical lithography
Using far field optical lithography, a single quantum dot is positioned
within a pillar microcavity with a 50 nm accuracy. The lithography is performed
in-situ at 10 K while measuring the quantum dot emission. Deterministic
spectral and spatial matching of the cavity-dot system is achieved in a single
step process and evidenced by the observation of strong Purcell effect.
Deterministic coupling of two quantum dots to the same optical mode is
achieved, a milestone for quantum computing.Comment: Modified version: new title, additional experimental data in figure
