A note on comonotonicity and positivity of the control components of decoupled quadratic FBSDE

    Get PDF
In this small note we are concerned with the solution of Forward-Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (FBSDE) with drivers that grow quadratically in the control component (quadratic growth FBSDE or qgFBSDE). The main theorem is a comparison result that allows comparing componentwise the signs of the control processes of two different qgFBSDE. As a byproduct one obtains conditions that allow establishing the positivity of the control process.Comment: accepted for publicatio

We present results on transverse momentum (pT) and rapidity (y) differential production cross sections, mean transverse momentum and mean transverse momentum square of inclusive J/ψ and ψ(2S) at forward rapidity (2.5 15 GeV/c the non-prompt contribution reaches up to 50% of the total charmonium yield

The transverse momentum distributions of the strange and double-strange hyperon resonances ( Σ(1385)±\Sigma (1385)^{\pm } , Ξ(1530)0\Xi (1530)^{0} ) produced in p–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}= 5.02 TeV were measured in the rapidity range 0.5<yCMS<0-0.5< y_\mathrm {CMS}<0 for event classes corresponding to different charged-particle multiplicity densities, \langle d NchN_{\mathrm{ch}} /d ηlab\eta _{\mathrm{lab}}\rangle . The mean transverse momentum values are presented as a function of \langle d NchN_{\mathrm{ch}} /d ηlab\eta _{\mathrm{lab}}\rangle , as well as a function of the particle masses and compared with previous results on hyperon production. The integrated yield ratios of excited to ground-state hyperons are constant as a function of \langle d NchN_{\mathrm{ch}} /d ηlab\eta _{\mathrm{lab}}\rangle . The equivalent ratios to pions exhibit an increase with \langle d NchN_{\mathrm{ch}} /d ηlab\eta _{\mathrm{lab}}\rangle , depending on their strangeness content
