    Using of Straw Ash as Additive Material Cement

    In this research, Portland cement type 1 made by using raw material clinker and gypsum from production unit in cement plant and also with adding straw ash from the combustion of straw rice plant, the adding of straw ash performed on a particular composition which is 0%, 5%, 8%, 12% and 15%. The purpose of the research is to know the effect of adding straw ash opposite the quality of Portland cement type 1 and to know about the best composition of adding straw ash to get Portland cement type 1 according with SNI-15-2049-2004. The benefits of the research are to reduce the level of environmental pollution and to increase the value of straw rice plant. Portland cement type 1 that has been created will be done some analysis to determine the quality of the cement, such as cement chemical composition analysis using X-Ray spectrometer, determination of free lime, determination of lost on ignition, determination of Blaine and determination of compressive strength mortar. So hoping the Portland cement type 1 that has been created is according SNI 15-2049-2009. The result of the research show that the all of adding straw ash is got cement with compressive strength, free lime disposal, loss on ignition disposal, and Blaine of cement according with SNI 15-2049-2009 with the maximum adding of the straw ash is 15 % where at this adding straw ash is got compressive strength equal 476 Kg/cm2, free lime equal 1, 01 %, loss on ignition equal 2, 78 %, and Blaine equal 6125 cm2/gr

    The Understanding of Growth of Transport-Stop Node on Development Axis as Base of Development of New Strategy of Local Development1

    Development-Axes (DA) theory , is a theory which is originally stated by Pottier (1963), and restated by Hilhorst (1972) as wellas stated as an alternative growth theory (Paelinck and Nijkamp, 1975, 1978; Richardson 1978, 198, 2011) in explaining theexistence of nodes or centers along development axes and the end-point cities (Richardson, 1978,1981). or prime center or growthpole (Hilhorst, 1972) connected. Some of the real evidences of the implementation are the growing of many cities along highways inAmerica, along Grote Postweg road in Indonesia, and in many other countries. So it can be said that the theory is significance asdevelopment strategy in the world, especially in making place from transport-stop node which has role as infant settlement to belarger settlement (maybe as town or city in the future) along development axes. This paper focuses on seeking theoretical explanationas new understanding about how the growth of transport-stop node (as one of the local nodes) along DA that is influenced by theflow of people & goods along the axis. We found that the growth cannot be explained by resource-based growth theory alone andneither other conventional theories of city growth. In fact, not all transport-stop node along DA could have same growth whether theflow of people and goods are equal along the DA. Based on the observation and in-depth interview as well as questionnaire, wefound that the growth of transport-stop node is initiated by the existence of transport facility or service at development axes. We alsofound that the growth of transport-stop node has five stages of growth and the “attractiveness” as the significant factor to the growthof transport-stop node to be lager settlement. We argue that the implication of the explanation to the policy is useful indecentralized era in Indonesia

    Pengaruh Latihan Fisik; Senam Aerobik Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Gula Darah Pada Penderita Dm Tipe 2 Di Wilayah Puskesmas Bukateja Purbalingga

    Diabetes mellitus tipe 2 adalah suatu keadaan hiperglikemia yang disebabkan gangguan pada resistensi insulin dan sekresi insulin sehingga metabolisme tubuh juga terganggu. Pada DM tipe 2, latihan fisik berperan sebagai glycemic control yaitu mengatur dan mengendalikan kadar gula darah. Latihan fisik yang dianjurkan salah satunya adalah senam aerobik, yang bertujuan meningkatkan dan mempertahankan kesegaran tubuh dan dilaksanakan sesuai prinsip F.I.T.T (Frekuensi, Intensitas, Time dan Tipe). Penelitian yang dilakukan di wilayah Puskesmas Bukateja Purbalingga pada bulan September – Oktober 2004 ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan fisik: senam aerobik terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pada penderita DM tipe 2. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen tanpa kelompok kontrol. Responden yang menjadi subyek penelitian adalah 22 orang yang menderita DM tipe 2. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner tentang karakteristik responden dan observasi untuk mengetahui kadar gula darah sebelum dan sesudah latihan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh latihan fisik: senam aerobik terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pada penderita DM tipe 2 di Wilayah Puskesmas Bukateja Purbalingga (p=0.0001) dengan penurunan rata – rata sebesar 30,14 mg%

    Tropical regions is a region endemic to various infectious diseases. At the same time an area of high potential for the presence of infectious diseases. Infectious diseases still a major public health problem in Indonesia. Identification of endemic areas of infectious diseases is an important issue in the field of health, the average level of patients with physical disabilities and death are sourced from infectious diseases. Data Mining in its development into one of the main trends in the processing of the data. Data Mining could effectively identify the endemic regions of hubunngan between variables. K-means algorithm klustering used to classify the endemic areas so that the identification of endemic infectious diseases can be achieved with the level of validation that the maximum in the clustering. The use of optimization to identify the endemic areas of infectious diseases combines k-means clustering algorithm with optimization particle swarm optimization ( PSO ). the results of the experiment are endemic to the k-means algorithm with iteration =10, the K-Fold =2 has Index davies bauldin = 0.169 and k-means algorithm with PSO, iteration = 10, the K-Fold = 5, index davies bouldin = 0.113. k-fold = 5 has better performance

    Listeriosis adalah suatu penyakit yang infeksius, nonkontagius, yang disebabkan oleh kuman Listeria monocytoge~, yang bersifat Gram positip, berbentuk batang langsing, mempunyai ukuran panjang 1 - 4 mikron d a n lebar 0,2 - 0,5 mikron, bergerak, tidak berspora , tidak berkapsel, dan ber- . sifat aerob atau fakultatif anaerob. Listeriosis terutama menyer a ng babi, sapi, domba serta kambing. Selain itu juga menyerang manusia, unggas, kelinci, marmot, dan tikus. Gejala ya ng ditimbulkan adalah abortus, meningo-encephalitis, dan septikemia. Abortus karena listeriosis pada domba terjadi pada 3 bulan keatas dari umur kebuntingan. Fetus yang diabortuskan mati karena serangan listeria yang menyeberang dari uterus menembus plasenta menuju fetus melalui vena umbilikalis, atau kalau fetus selamat sampai dilahirkan akan menderita sakit kelemahan dan akhirnya mati. Pada fetus yang diabortuskan terlihat bercak-bercak lesio yang nekrotik pada ha ti, limpa, p aru-paru, dan masih banyak lagi anggota tubuh fetus lainnya.
