Multivalent Molecular Shuttles – Effect of Increasing the Number of Centers in Switchable Catalysts

Producción CientíficaA family of three molecular shuttles based upon ammonium/triazolinium salt motifs with one, two, and three catalytic centers were prepared along with their corresponding non‐interlocked threads. The switching process for all rotaxanes was tested through an in situ procedure in solution. Furthermore, their organocatalysis of two Michale‐type reactions by iminium activation was tested to check whether the increase of the number of catalytic centers in the same shuttle is a decisive factor to improve their efficiencies compared with those of single‐active‐site organocatalytic shuttles under the same conditions.Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad (Project CTQ 2013-41067-P

Synergistic Effect of Tetraaryl Porphyrins Containing Corannulene and Other Polycyclic Aromatic Fragments as Hosts for Fullerenes. Impact of C60 in a Statistically Distributed Mixture of Atropisomers

Producción CientíficaSymmetric meso-tetraarylporphyrins bearing phenanthrene, pyrene, and corannulene moieties in meta positions have been synthesized in a straightforward procedure under microwave irradiation by quadruple Suzuki–Miyaura reactions. Their 1H NMR spectra showed the typical pattern of four atropisomers distributed according to their statistical ratio not properly separable due to their fast isomerization. Their ability to bind buckminsterfullerene has been tested with the whole mixture, and different behaviors have been found, α4 isomer corannulene-substituted porphyrins being the best hosts in the family.Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad (Project CTQ 2013-41067-P

La modificación del bienestar de los habitantes de las colonias Ojo de agua y el Triángulo durante el desarrollo de línea 12 del sistema de transporte colectivo: estación terminal Tláhuac

Maestría en Diseño.Uno de los principales problemas durante la creación de una obra pública es la modificación del bienestar de los habitantes de las Colonias donde se instaura el nuevo equipamiento. La discusión de este documento va dirigida hacia el establecimiento de las relaciones entre el bienestar y una obra pública, a través de la modificación de ciertos funcionamientos o determinantes del bienestar. Este trabajo describe los factores por los cuales se ve modificado el bienestar de las personas, busca explicar la relación entre apreciaciones objetivas e interpretaciones subjetivas durante el desarrollo de una obra pública cuyo propósito es favorecer y satisfacer las necesidades de movilidad de los habitantes para promover su bienestar. El estudio de caso es la construcción de la línea de Metro 12, concretamente la Estación Terminal Tláhuac y de sus impactos sobre el bienestar de los habitantes de dos Colonias cercanas; la Colonia Ojo de Agua y el Triángulo pertenecientes a la Delegación Tláhuac.Los resultados muestran que durante el desarrollo de esta obra, el bienestar de los habitantes de dichas Colonias fue modificado en aspectos positivos y negativos, provocando desde mínimos cambios en sus necesidades para algunos como severos cambios en las necesidades para otros.One of the main problems during the establishment of a public work is the modification of the welfare of the inhabitants of the colonies which establishes the new equipment. Discussion of this paper is directed towards the establishment of relations between the determinants of welfare and public works, through the modification of certain runs or determinants of welfare This paper describes the factors which is modified the welfare of individuals, explains the relationship between objective and subjective interpretations findings for the development of public works whose purpose is to promote and meet the mobility needs of the inhabitants . The analysis of the case study of the construction of the subway line 12 in particular Estación Terminal Tláhuac and its impacts on the welfare of the residents of two nearby colonies , the Colony Ojo de Agua and Triángulo belonging to Delegación Tláhuac. The results show that during the development of this work, the welfare of the inhabitants of these colonies was modified in both positive and negative , resulting from small changes in their needs to some as severe changes in the needs for others

Dual-Tweezer Behavior of an Octapodal Pyrene Porphyrin-Based System as a Host for Fullerenes

Producción CientíficaThe incorporation of eight pyrene units in a single porphyrin core exhibits a great synergistic effect, resulting in high affinity toward C60 and C70. This octapyrene porphyrin is easily accessible by a straightforward two-step synthetic approach that involves an octuple Suzuki reaction. The new supramolecular platform can present single- or double-tweezer fullerene hosting behavior. The switch from double- to single-tweezer behavior is triggered by the simple coordination of Zn2+ to the porphyrin. Both the octapyrene porphyrin 2HPOP and its zinc metalloporphyrin analogue ZnPOP show very high affinity for C60 and C70, while simultaneously allowing the discrimination of C70 over C60 in a C60/C70 mixture. A new truck prototype for transporting flexible manipulators

[Resumen] Este trabajo se ocupa del diseño mecánico y la descripción de los diferentes componentes de una base móvil novedosa para un manipulador móvil flexible. Un manipulador móvil flexible normalmente se compone de múltiples enlaces flexibles montados en una plataforma móvil. Este trabajo se centra en la descripción de la plataforma móvil. La plataforma móvil de este trabajo tiene dos configuraciones diferentes para llevar a cabo diferentes tareas. Además, en este trabajo se muestran algunas hipótesis y resultados experimentales como un primer paso para poder obtener un modelo cinemático del sistema más adelante.[Abstract] This work is concerned with the mechanical design and the description of the different components of a novel mobile base for a flexible mobile manipulator. A flexible mobile manipulator is normally composed of multiple flexible links mounted on a mobile platform. This work is focused on the description of the mobile platform. The mobile platform of this work has two different configurations in order to carry out different tasks. Aproximación alanálisis de lavaloración de la prueba usando modified wigmorean analysis (MWA)

The present work shows how the analysis of the valuation of the proof, using tools of plot diagramming, can help the juridical operators to evaluate the quality of the argumentation of the juridical reasoning. There is applied the Modified Wigmorean Analysis (MWA) to a penal hypothetical case and to a real case, testing the process of analysis and diagramming and proving his utility. The conclusion outlines the advantages and weaknesses of the analysis and suggests adjustments to the process of diagramming

From Induced-Fit Assemblies to Ternary Inclusion Complexes with Fullerenes in Corannulene-Based Molecular Tweezers

Producción CientíficaThe participation of the tether moiety in fullerene recognition of corannulene-based molecular tweezers is known to be an important factor. In the present work, we describe the synthesis of a set of fullerene receptors bearing two corannulene units located at a suitable distance to effectively interact with C60 and C70. The tether comprises a fluorene-like scaffold where an assortment of different groups with variable electronic properties has been grafted. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of all final compounds have been unveiled and correlated to the donor/acceptor (DA) nature of the tether. Despite these strong variations, their affinity toward fullerenes cannot be correlated in any way to simple DA behavior as the main contribution to the interaction correspond to London dispersion forces. We found, however, that the sulfur-derived subfamily is able to adapt better to the fullerene outer surface slightly increasing the charge transfer and electrostatic attractive interactions being the most outstanding example the case of thiophene 4-S with C70 as it is capable of forming a ternary 2:1 inclusion complex in solution with an electronic binding energy that offsets entropy and desolvation penalties typically associated with higher-order inclusion complexes.Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades (project (projects numbers PGC2018-096880-A-I00, MCIU/AEI/FEDER, UE, PGC2018-099470-B-I00, and MCIU/AEI/FEDER, UE

Aplicación Práctica de Métodos para Evaluar In-Situ el Rendimiento Instantáneo de Máquinas Frigoríficas de Compresión Mecánica

Libro de actas completo disponible en :http://repositorio.bib.upct.es:8080/dspace/handle/10317/4709Los equipos de aire acondicionado, bombas de calor y refrigeración suponen un elevado consumo de energía eléctrica en los países industrializados. Es frecuente que, en la práctica, estos equipos no estén operando con la eficiencia que debieran. De ahí la importancia de realizar inspecciones periódicas, que incluyan mediciones de los diferentes parámetros de operación de los equipos, destacando por su importancia la medición de su rendimiento (EER/COP). La medición precisa in-situ del EER/COP sobre una instalación frigorífica de compresión mecánica, fuera de un banco de ensayo de laboratorio, ha sido desde siempre una cuestión muy complicada, con muchas dificultades prácticas. Un punto crítico es la medición del caudal de fluido refrigerante. Si no se dispone de un caudalímetro instalado, que es la situación más habitual, hay que recurrir a mediciones indirectas. Hay varios métodos indirectos para estimar el caudal de refrigerante, que se pueden clasificar en los que se basan en: a) el rendimiento volumétrico del compresor, b) el rendimiento global del compresor, c) un balance de energía sobre el condensador y d) un balance de energía sobre el compresor. En este trabajo se ponen en práctica y analizan estos cuatro métodos sobre instalaciones frigoríficas existentes en el laboratorio docente del Departamento de Máquinas y Motores Térmicos de la Universidad de Málaga [1]. Para ello se utiliza un sistema de medición de bajo coste, basado en sensores ONSET [2]. El procesado y análisis de los datos se hace mediante el software Engineering Equation Solver [3]. Se discuten los resultados y dificultades encontradas en la aplicación de los diferentes métodos y se ofrecen recomendaciones a tener en cuenta para abordar instalaciones más complejas.Universidad de Málaga.
