Traditional phytomedicinal knowledge of Bhotias of Dharchula in Pithoragarh

They have traditionally been dependent on nature for healthcare, as they did not have access to the modern medicinal facilites until about 1960s. No serious attempts were made to document the traditional phytomedicines used by Bhotias of Dharchula areas in the past.
