Current trends, methods and results of brown mustard (Brassica juncea) and black mustard (Brassica nígra) breeding
Background. Various types of mustard and its forms differ significantly from each other in a set of morphological, biological, biochemical and other economically important traits. Both brown and black mustard are in great demand.Materials and methods. The study was conducted in 2009– 2018 on the brown mustard cultivar ‘Rosinka’ using the VNIIMK techniques. Promising cultivars of brown mustard (‘Zolushka’, ‘Nika’, ‘Yunona’) and black mustard (‘Niagara’) as well as source material with good breeding prospects were evaluated for their economic significance. Results and discussion. Individual selection based on self-pollination in the seed production of brown mustard population cultivars was found to facilitate identification of high-yielding lines, promptly increase the yield of cultivars, isolate lines exceeding the initial population in oil yield, and obtain biotypes with unusual fatty acid composition. The best accessions demonstrated an increase of 1.0–2.9% in their oil content. Besides, the selected material had the yield at the same or higher level than the reference (on average, 3.22 t/ha). An increase of oil yield varied from 0.23 to 0.36 t/ha. The technique of recurrent individual selection of elite plants from interspecific hybrid populations with the use of selfpollination resulted in developing 3 brown mustard cultivars: ‘Zolushka’, ‘Nika’ and ‘Yunona’. One of the important trends in mustard breeding is the development of cultivars with a high content of allyl mustard oil. As a result of this work, a new brown mustard cultivar was developed (‘Gorlinka’). One of the representatives of the economically important Brassicaceae family is the black mustard. Its new cultivar ‘Niagara’ was developed by recurrent individual selection from accession k-2632 preserved in the collection of the Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (VIR). In competitive trials ‘Niagara’ demonstrated an average yield at the level of 1.5–1.7 t/ha, and the oil content in seeds of 37.0–40.0%. Cv. ‘Niagara’ has a short growing season
Diffusion and Deformations in Heterosystems with GaN/AlN Superlattices, According to Data from EXAFS Spectroscopy
Multilayered samples with extremely narrow GaN
quantum wells in an AlN host are synthesized
via ammonia MBE. The parameters of the microstructu
re are determined by means of EXAFS spectroscopy,
high-resolution electron microscopy, and low-angle sc
attering. Their relationship to the morphology of
GaN/AlN superlattices is established. The influence of
growth conditions and the thickness of superlattices
on their optical properties and mixing in the near-boundary layers is established
Bi(iii) immobilization inside MIL-101: enhanced photocatalytic performance
© The Royal Society of Chemistry and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique.A novel hybrid material Bi(iii)@MIL-101 (Bi(iii) = Bi-containing oxoclusters and MIL-101 = chromium(iii) oxoterephthalate) was obtained by the intra-pore hydrolysis of guest bismuth(iii) chloride in ammonia solution. This compound was characterized by chemical analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, nitrogen sorption and TEM techniques. According to the obtained data all Bi species are located only inside the matrix. The framework structure remains intact during all synthetic operations. The chemical nature of Bi(iii)-containing clusters inside the MIL-101 matrix was suggested based on the EXAFS study. The catalytic activity of Bi(iii)@MIL-101 in photodegradation of methyl red (MR) has been tested. The introduction of Bi(iii)-species inside MIL-101 significantly increases the photocatalytic performance in comparison with layered BiOCl which was obtained under the same synthetic conditions without MIL-101
Prevalence of risk factors of addictive behavior in a cohort of juveniles tested for drugs
То study the prevalence of risk factors for addictive behaviour among minors according to age and sex were examined 2990 participants drug testing in the 2013/2014 academic year. In addition, we studied the relation of parents to conduct testing procedures in the school, as well as the tension of the situation in schools with regard to their administration.

Using off analogous ph-test and pepsinogenemia study for noninvasive estimation of stress-related erosions and ulcers prevention in cardiosurgical patients
Based on 40 clinic cases the important diagnostic role of analogous pH-test and dynamic pepsinogenemia study was validated for effect estimation of the antisecretory drugs, which were dedicated for prevention and treatment of stress-related gastroduodenal mucosal damage in cardiosurgical patients. It was defined, that getting therapy have to objective the control pH in interval 4,0 and more during planned interventions, 6,0 and more - during emergency interventions. The data about important clinical role of pepsinogenemia in diagnosis of stress-related gastroduodenal mucosal damage was received.
At the intersection of globalization and "civilizational originality' : cultural production in Putin's Russia
This special issue originates from a transnational collaboration of scholars in philology, comparative literature, social theory, sociology, anthropology, ethnography, and media studies. The collection strives to advance a research agenda built on the nexus of three intellectual and academic domains: post-Soviet Russian cultural studies', the research paradigm put forward by Cultural Studies, as well as empirical methods developed in sociology. The collection illustrates the importance of expanding the experience of Cultural Studies beyond its established spheres of national investigation, while it also speaks to the necessity to re-evaluate the hegemony of the English-language academic and cultural production on the global scale. The collection offers insights into the gamut of cultural practices and institutional environments in which Russian cultural production happens today. It shows how cultural industries and institutions in Russia are integrated into the global marketplace and transnational communities, while they also draw on and contribute to local lives and experiences by trying to create an autonomous space for symbolic production at personal and collective levels. Through diverse topics, the issue sheds light on the agency, i.e. practitioners and participants, creators and consumers, of Russian cultural production and the neoliberal practices implemented on creative work and cultural administration in Russia today. The Introduction outlines the development of academic studies on Russian cultural practices since 1991; describes main political developments shaping the cultural field in Putin's Russia; and, finally, identifies the Cultural Studies debates the editors of the collection find most productive for investigations of Russia, i.e. the instrumentalization of culture and culture as resource. Relocated in an analysis of a post-socialist society, these conceptualisations seem increasingly problematic in a situation where local and federal policies governing cultural and creative work focus simultaneously on marketization and on nationalism as the main tools of legitimizing the federal government.Peer reviewe
