8He Spectroscopy in Stopped Pion Absorption By 9Be
Level structure of 8He has been studied in the reaction of stopped pion absorption by 9Be nuclei. The missing mass spectrum in the range 0 MeV ≤ MM ≤ 10 MeV has been described by the superposition of phase-space distributions and the three states of 8He. Parameters of these states have been compared with data of other experimental and theoretical works
Transport Equations from Liouville Equations for Fractional Systems
We consider dynamical systems that are described by fractional power of
coordinates and momenta. The fractional powers can be considered as a
convenient way to describe systems in the fractional dimension space. For the
usual space the fractional systems are non-Hamiltonian. Generalized transport
equation is derived from Liouville and Bogoliubov equations for fractional
systems. Fractional generalization of average values and reduced distribution
functions are defined. Hydrodynamic equations for fractional systems are

The Analysis of Injuries and Mortality Risks Level as a Result of Road Accident in Regions of the Central and Eastern Europe
In the article the analysis of the frequency, traumatism and mortality of road accidents has been carried out at the regional level for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and has made it possible to draw conclusions regarding certain spatial features of the distribution of these indicators and on the nonrandom nature of the location of their values on maps of the CEE regions featured in the study. On the basis of methods of spatial statistics and econometrics we have demonstrated the existence of a spatial structure in the distribution of the risks and consequences of road accidents in the various regions. Cluster analysis has enabled us to distinguish uniform clusters of regions categorised by the risks, traumatism and mortality rates of road accidents. Based on an analysis of these indicators we have introduced the evaluation of an integrated safety level for regions of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This allows us to estimate the complex influence of the risks and their consequences road accidents on the level of safety for certain regions or groups of regions. The results of the research which has been conducted can be used for the improvement of national and regional programs of road and transport safety, and for the development of strategies and actions aimed at reducing the risks and consequences of road accidents in certain regions
Fractional Liouville and BBGKI Equations
We consider the fractional generalizations of Liouville equation. The
normalization condition, phase volume, and average values are generalized for
fractional case.The interpretation of fractional analog of phase space as a
space with fractal dimension and as a space with fractional measure are
discussed. The fractional analogs of the Hamiltonian systems are considered as
a special class of non-Hamiltonian systems. The fractional generalization of
the reduced distribution functions are suggested. The fractional analogs of the
BBGKI equations are derived from the fractional Liouville equation.Comment: 20 page

element and Poisson brackets. These generalizations lead us to the fractional
analog of the phase space. We consider systems on this fractional phase space
and fractional analogs of the Hamilton equations. The fractional generalization
of the average value is suggested. The fractional analogs of the Bogoliubov
hierarchy equations are derived from the fractional Liouville equation. We
define the fractional reduced distribution functions. The fractional analog of

Search for states with enlarged radii in excited states of 12B
An experiment was done to search for states with a neutron halo in 12B. The measurements were carried out at the cyclotron of the University of Jyvaskyla (Finland) using Large Scattering Chamber (LSC). The idea of the work was to search for two states with the expected neutron halo, 1 ̄ and 2 ̄. Differential cross sections with excitation of 12B states, including abovementioned states, were observed. The preliminary calculations on halo radii by the method of asymptotic normalization coefficients for the 2 ̄ and 1 ̄ states which are in a discrete spectrum gave following values: 5.6 fm and 7.4 fm, which is much larger than the radius of the valence neutron in the ground state. But strictly the presence of a neutron halo can be confirmed only for 1 ̄ state. The 2 ̄ state can be considered only as candidate for halo. An unexpected result was obtained for the 3 ̄, 3.39 MeV state, which is in continuum 19 keV above the decay threshold 12B → 11B + n, preliminary estimation for its halo radius is ∼ 6.5 fm. This indicates that the halo can be present in this state as well. But strict conditions for neutron halo are not fulfilled in the same way as for 2 ̄ state. Until now, the neutron halo in unbound states has been observed only for the members of the rotational bands
Normal-Conducting Separation and Compensation Dipoles for the LHC Experimental Insertions
The experimental insertions of the LHC make use of normal-conducting magnets to provide for part of the beam separation and to compensate the effect of two large spectrometer dipoles. Three different types with respect to the length were designed and are based on the same type of lamination. The main type of magnet MBXW has a core length of 3.4 m while the MBXWT and MBXWS magnets are 1.5 m and 0.75 m long versions respectively. The magnet design was done in collaboration between CERN and BINP and the dipole magnets are produced by BINP. So far all three MBXWS magnets, all three MBXWT magnets and fifteen of twenty-nine MBXW magnets have been manufactured and delivered to CERN. The report presents the main design issues and results of the acceptance tests including mechanical, electrical and magnetic field measurements
The Heidelberg-Moscow double beta decay experiment with enriched 76Ge. First results
Abstract The status of the Heidelberg-Moscow ββ-experiment using isotopically enriched 76Ge is reported. The results of 14.8 mol yr (or 1.29 kg yr) of operation are presented. From these data a new half life time for the ββ0v-decay of 76Ge to the ground state of 76Se of T 1 2 1.4 (2.5) X 10 24 yr with 90% (68%) CL can be deduced. For a possible neutrinoless decay to the first excited state a half life of 4.3(8.2)X1023 yr can be excluded with 90% (68%) CL
