    The word chastity, which was coined to describe the virtue of a man and a woman marrying, understanding and loving each other, later became a woman, her fasting, patience and the nature of existence which is the property of Mullai Nilam. While the literature of the time also emphasized this quality, new poetry sought to change these ideas. The result was feminist poetry and chastity poetry.     The use of social media influencers by the companies to promote their products is constantly on the rise since the last decades. Influencers on social media have replaced the celebrities from cinema or sports and now they are the flagbearer of influence. Social media influencers are someone who give character to the consumer’s judgments and shape their attitude regarding a brand or product through their posts in the form of photos, videos and other updates on social media platforms. The present study was conducted to identify the role of social media influencer’s (SMI) credibility in consumer purchase decisions. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the data of 123 respondents from Delhi/NCR. Multiple Regression analysis in SPSS was used to analyze the results. The findings revealed that the attributes of credibility i.e. information value and entertainment value of the branded content shared by SMIs have significant effects on followers

    Antibacterial activity of herbal preparation –Agnijith

    “Agnijith” a herbal preparation was evaluated against fifteen different  microorganisms at different concentrations 120mg, 130mg, 150mg, 170mg and 190mg/100mg.  Chloromphenicol was used as control. The in vitro antibacterial activity was performed by agar well diffusion method and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) method. “Agnijith” was found to be more potent in inhibiting the microorganisms such as Bacillus subtilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas flourescence, Proteus mirabilis and Shigella dysentriae, whereas no inhibition zone was found against Micrococcus luteus, Streptococcus pyrogens, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus vulgaris and Salmonella typhimurium by well diffusion method. The zone of inhibition ranges from 12mm to 25mm.  Bacillus subtilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas flourescence, Shigella dysentriae were found to be sensitive at various concentrations by minimum inhibitory concentration method. The results clearly demonstrates that the “Agnijith” to be an effective antibacterial agent and could be used to treat diseases caused by microorganisms
