    A Study of the Number of Wavelengths Impact in the Optical Burst Switching Core Node

    In Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM), several wavelengths run on an optical fiber link that connects two optical switches. The multiple wavelengths are exploited that minimized the contention problem in the Optical Burst Switching (OBS) core node. Mathematical model is used in order to investigate the impact of the wavelengths numbers OBS core node. Two performance metrics are proposed such as the steady-state throughput and the probability of burst loss using steady- state occupancy probabilities and Poisson traffic model arrivals. Numerical results show that at different values of network traffic and some design parameters such as wavelength conversion capability and the mean arrival rate could reveal the OBS performance

    Pembelajaran robotik mendukung siswa untuk mendapatkan materi yang saling terintegrasi antara subyek pelajaran Science (sains), Technology (teknologi), Engineering (teknik), dan Mathematics (matematika). Robotika adalah perpaduan berbagai disiplin ilmu, khususnya mekanik, elektronik dan komputer. Jenis robot yang dipilih untuk pelatihan adalah robot Line Follower karena pembuatan robot ini tidak terlalu rumit sehingga diharapkan siswa dapat menguasai dengan cepat teknik pembuatannya. Sasaran dari program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah siswa-siswi SMK Batik 2 Surakarta dan telah terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar pada hari Kamis, 11 Februari 2021, bertempat di Laboratorium Komputer dan Laboratorium Digital, Prodi Teknik Elektronika, Kampus Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi “Warga” Surakarta. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 10 orang siswa-siswi SMK Batik 2 Surakarta dengan didampingi dua orang guru pendamping.     High heterotrophic CO2 emissions from a Malaysian oil palm plantations during dry-season

    Background Tropical peatlands are currently being rapidly cleared and drained for the establishment of oil palm plantations, which threatens their globally significant carbon sequestration capacity. Large-scale land conversion of tropical peatlands is important in the context of greenhouse gas emission factors and sustainable land management. At present, quantification of carbon dioxide losses from tropical peatlands is limited by our understanding of the relative contribution of heterotrophic and autotrophic respiration to net peat surface CO2 emissions. Methods In this study we separated heterotrophic and autotrophic components of peat CO2 losses from two oil palm plantations (one established in ‘2000’ and the other in 1978, then replanted in ‘2006’) using chamber-based emissions sampling along a transect from the rooting to non-rooting zones on a peatland in Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia over the course of three months (June-August, 2014). Collar CO2 measurements were compared with soil temperature and moisture at site and also accompanied by depth profiles assessing peat C and bulk density. Results The soil respiration decreased exponentially with distance from the palm trunks with the sharpest decline found for the plantation with the younger palms. The mean heterotrophic flux was 1244.7 ± SE 149.2 mg m-2h-1 and 663.8 ± SE 102.2 mg m-2h-1 at the 2000 and 2006 plantations, respectively. Autotrophic emissions adjacent to the palm trunks were 944 ± SE 99.7 mg m-2h-1 and 1962 ± SE 246 mg m-2h-1 at the 2000 and 2006 plantations, respectively. Heterotrophic CO2 flux was positively related to peat soil moisture, but not temperature. Total peat C stocks were 60 kg m-2 (down to 1 m depth) and did not vary among plantations of different ages but SOC concentrations declined significantly with depth at both plantations but the decline was sharper in the second generation 2006 plantation. Conclusions The CO2 flux values reported in this study suggest a potential for very high carbon (C) loss from drained tropical peats during the dry season. This is particularly concerning given that more intense dry periods related to climate change are predicted for SE Asia. Taken together, this study highlights the need for careful management of tropical peatlands, and the vulnerability of their carbon storage capability under conditions of drainage

    The legal issue in this study, is about the authority and responsibility of PPAT in registering mortgage rights electronically. This research is a normative legal research. The purpose of this study was to determine the authority and responsibility of PPAT in the electronic registration process of Mortgage related to the statement of accountability and the validity of electronic document. The results showed that PPAT has the authority to submit applications for registration of Mortgage Rights electronically at the Office of the Land Agency and a statement of accountability and validity of electronic document data is a condition for using the electronic based Mortgage Rights service system and is an integrated unit with the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency Number 9 of 2019 concerning Electronically Integrated Mortgage Services, the PPAT remains obligated to sign the statement letter. The results of the analysis, that if the electronic documents do not match the actual data, the registration will automatically be rejected by National Land Agency (BPN), as the registration application will not appear. The conclusion is that BPN will process the application electronically, only if the document attached is in accordance with the registration application physical data. Suggestion that can be given to PPAT is not to process registration of mortgage right if there is any mistake in the document required or if the documents are incomplete. Isu hukum dalam penelitian ini, adalah tentang kewenangan dan tanggung jawab PPAT dalam mendaftarkan Hak Tanggungan secara elektronik.  Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian hukum normatif. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kewenangan dan tanggung jawab PPAT dalam proses pendaftaran Hak Tanggungan secara elektronik dikaitkan dengan surat pernyataan pertanggungjawaban keabsahan dan kebenaran data dokumen elektronik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa PPAT berwenang mengajukan permohonan pendaftaran Hak Tanggungan secara elektronik pada Kantor Badan Pertanahan dan surat pernyataan pertanggungjawaban keabsahan dan kebenaran data dokumen elektronik adalah syarat penggunaan sistem layanan Hak Tanggungan secara elektronik serta merupakan satu kesatuan dengan Peraturan Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional Nomor 9 Tahun 2019 tentang Pelayanan Hak Tanggungan Terintegrasi Secara Elektronik, maka PPAT tetap berkewajiban menandatangani surat pernyataan tersebut. Hasil analisis, bahwa apabila dokumen elektronik tersebut tidak sesuai dengan data yang sebenarnya, maka secara otomatis pendaftaran tersebut akan ditolak oleh Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN), karena aplikasi pendaftaran tidak akan muncul. Kesimpulannya adalah BPN akan memproses permohonan secara elektromnik, jika lampiran dokumen sudah sesuai dengan aplikasi pendaftaran. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada PPAT adalah untuk tidak memproses pendaftaran hak tanggungan  jika terdapat kesalahan persyaratan dokumen atau dokumen tidak lengkap

    Pembekalan Teknik Penjualan Produk Secara Digital Untuk Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah Kabupaten Sukoharjo

    Salah satu sektor bidang usaha yang menggerakkan ekonomi di pedesaan adalah Usaha Mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Karena berdirinya UMKM baik berfungsi untuk mengentaskan pengangguran dalam hal ini menyedot kebutuhan akan tenaga kerja juga membantu perekonomiaan secara nasional. Dalam proses keberlangsungan hidup UMKM untuk menjalankan bisnisnya dengan baik dari proses penyediaan material (bahan) pembuatan, lokasi produksi, tenaga produksi, dapat berjalan dengan baik. Namun dalam salah satu faktor marketing atau pemasaran produk masih dilakukan secara manual (konvensional ) dalam hal ini dilakukan secara tatap muka langsung dengan konsumen atau pembeli, sehingga segmen pasar masih terlalu sempit. Sehingga untuk memberikan salah satu solusi dari kendala di atas, Penulis bersama rekan staf pengajar / dosen jurusan teknik elektro, serta himpunan mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro (HMJTE) Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Warga Surakarta memberikan salah satu solusi dengan mengadakan pelatihan pembekalan untuk pelaku UMKM Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Materi pelatihan untuk memberikan solusi kendala di atas penulis memberikan materi pembekalan pola teknik sistem penjualan produk secara digital untuk pelaku usaha mikro kecil menengah kabupaten sukoharjo. Proses pemasaran dan penjualan produk UMKM secara digital atau online dengan menggunakan kedua metode teknik di atas dapat menembus pasar moderen maupun pasar luar negeri. Hasil akhir dari pelatihan ini para pelaku usaha UKM/UMKM mampu menambah pengetahuan membuat nama produk (keyword) dengan baik dan familiar, serta peserta mengalami peningkatan yaitu dapat merencanakan dan membuat keyword untuk nama website yang tepat sasaran dalam arti nama website banyak dicari oleh pelanggan media digital. Para peserta sekarang dapat membuat website dengan baik untuk iklan produknya dan juga peserta mampu memasarkan produk yang dihasilkan dengan media online dengan nama website yang menarik. Peserta juga berhasil menempatkan nama website produk hasil UKM/UMKM dalam halaman utama Google dengan pencari dalam ukuran waktu 0.61 detik sebanyak 2.880.000

    Control of Air Cooling System Based on Fuzzy Logic

    A comfortable activity in of a room is depended on environment. Temperature and humidity is considered that greatly affect the air condition performance. This study aimed to design and built a prototype air cooling controller, namely the fan, so it can control the speed of the fan according to conditions of temperature and humidity. This research uses arduino uno R3 microcontroller and the of DHT 22 sensor to detect temperature and humidity of room and PIR sensor to detect human presence in the room. Sugeno fuzzy logic method is used to take the decision which is processed by microcontroller. That an test is done by manual calculation, matlab simulation and prototype testing. The results shows the averaged accuracy of temperature testing is 3.89%, while range is 1.99% and average humidity accuracy 3.21%, range is 2.49%. the system is able to control the fan of cooling fan autamatically accordances to the desired rules based on fuzzy logic.
