    . Pembuatan es krim atau “es puter†yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha kecil selama ini adalah dengan cara memutar tabung secara manual (diputar dengan tangan) selama kurang lebih 1,5 jam. Dengan cara pembuatan seperti ini kurang efisien dan memberatkan pekerja. Tujuan pokok kegiatan ini adalah untuk membuat mesin pemutar es krim yang berisi empat tabung es krim yang mampu bekerja dengan hasil optimal serta mudah cara mengoperasikannya. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah mesin pemutar es krim empat tabung yang dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Produktivitas mesin pemutar adalah empat kali lipat (400%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan alat pemuatar es sebelumnya (manual). Kualitas es krim yang dihasilkan dengan mesin pemutar sama baiknya dengan yang dihasilkan dengan cara manual

    Evaluasi Kesesuaian Lahan dan Optimasi Penggunaan Lahan untuk Pengembangan Tanaman Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) (Studi Kasus di Kecamatan Batee dan Kecamatan Padang Tiji Kabupaten Pidie Propinsi Aceh)

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelas kesesuaian lahan tanaman kakao; mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik lahan untuk pengembangan kakao dan memperoleh tingkat kelayakan USAhatani; dan optimalisasi penggunaan lahan berdasarkan kelas kesesuaian lahan. Kelas kesesuaian lahan didapatkan dengan mencocokkan sifat fisik dan kimia dari lahan USAhatani serta mengoverlaikan peta-peta yang sesuai dengan persyaratan tumbuh tanaman kakao dengan ArcGIS. Selanjutnya dihitung tingkat kelayakan USAhatani kakao dan dilakukan optimasi menggunakan QM for Windows untuk mendapatkan lahan optimum dengan keuntungan maksimum. Kelas kesesuaian lahan yang didapatkan di Kecamatan Batee: kelas S1 (sangat sesuai) sebesar 35,42% (2.572,622 ha); S2 (sesuai) sebesar 20,31% (1.922,737 ha) dan N (tidak sesuai) sebesar 44,27% (3.572,008 ha); serta di Kecamatan Padang Tiji: kelas S1 (sangat sesuai) sebesar 2,72% (306,173 ha); S2 (sesuai) sebesar 92,50% (10.429,770 ha); dan N (tidak sesuai) sebesar 4,79% (539,606 ha). Hasil analisis program linier menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan yang optimal digunakan seluas 3.475,065 ha. Keuntungan maksimum yang dapat diperoleh dengan luas lahan 3.475,065 ha adalah Rp 29.756.057.638,21 dimulai pada tahun produksi ke-7. Luas lahan aktual saat ini di Kec. Batee seluas 4.495,359 ha dan di Kec. Padang Tiji seluas 10.735,943 ha yang merupakan sumberdaya yang dapat ditingkatkan. Hal ini berarti masih besarnya ketersediaan lahan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan tanaman kakao

    Influence of Urea-Dairy Cattle Dung Fertilizer Combinations on Growth and Production of Mulato Grass (Brachiaria Hybrid CV "Mulato")

    A research with the aim of obtaining an effective combination pattern of fertilization management was done on mulato grass plants (Brachiaria Hybrid cv "Mulato"). The used fertilizers were of cow dung that serves to maintain the quality of soil and urea that is useful to increase the growth and production of plants. The method used was Completely Randomized Design where the treatments were mixed dairy cattle dung at 10, 17 and 24 tons per hectare per defoliation and urea fertilizer at doses of 75, 150 and 225 kg per hectare per defoliation. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 27 plots of research. The parameters studied were plant height, tiller number, leaf number, weed population and fresh forage production. The collected data were analyzed based on Completely Randomized Design, between Orthogonal tested treatment and regression analyzed dose. The results showed that the combined treatment of cow dung as much as 24 tons per hectare per defoliation with urea of 225 kg per hectare per defoliation (K3U3) showed the best growth and production of Mulato grass, while for the given dosage yielded a linear regression equatio

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of relationship marketing on customer satisfaction andswitching cost, to analyze the effect of cutomer satisfaction, relationship marketing and switching cost on customerloyalty, and to analyze percieved risk as a moderation variable on causal relationship between cutomersatisfaction, relationship marketing and switching cost on customer loyalty. The samples were mikro bankingconsumers in Banyumas, Cilacap, Purbalingga and Banjarnegara. The sample size in this study were 120respondents. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Analytical tool used were the sub-group regressionanalysis and Chow test.The results of this study were that relationship marketing had positive effect oncustomer satisfaction and switching cost, cutomer satisfaction, relationship marketing and switching cost hadpositive effect on customer loyalty and, percieved risk moderated the relationship between cutomer satisfaction,relationship marketing and switching cost on customer loyalty

    Analysis of Filariasis Through Zero Inflated Poisson (ZIP) Regression Approach

    Background: Indonesia is a tropical disease endemic areas, one of which is the disease elephantiasis (filariasis). Filariasis is filarial worm infectionand transmitted by mosquito bites. Baseline Health Survey (Riskesdas) 2007 showed that the percentage of patients with filariasis in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) was the largest in Indonesia. Methods: Secondary data analysis from Riskesdas 2007. The unit of analysis is the individual in NAD Province. Research focused on the relationship between patients with filariasi sfactors in NAD Province. The method usedis the Poisson and ZIP regression. Results: Probability of 10,000 house hold to softer from filariasisis are as many as 72 house hold and 10,000 people may be affected by filariasis are as many as 25 people. Individuals who do not use the bed nets exposed to filariasis risk is 1.60 compared to the use of bed nets. While individuals whose homes without sewer have risk to suffer filariasis 3.47 times compare to them with sewer. Conclusion: Variables that affect the incidence of filariasis in NAD is the average distance to the neares thealth care, the average distance to the water source and the percentage of households using secticide-treated nets. The farther distance to the water source and healer services, will increase the incidence of filariasis. Mean while, the use insecticide-treatedbed net will reduce the incidence of filariasis.     The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the use of construction of the originally hook with the hook kirbed 30o angle, and the influence of different types of bait is natural bait of meat squid (Loligo sp.) with artificial bait, as well as for determining whether or not the effect of interaction between the form of construction the hook and type of the bait on the catch of hand line in the Traditional Fisheries Utilization Zone of Karimunjawa National Park. The research was conducted in May-April 2012 at the Traditional Fisheries Utilization Zone of Karimunjawa National Park. The material used in this study were the hook used to use squid bait, the hook used to use artificial bait, hook angle of 30 ⁰ with experimental fishing methods. Six times the number of repeat tests. Methods of data analysis begins by looking for the hook rate, the data was processed using a statistical test with SPSS 17 software at 95% level tests with tests of normality, homogeneity test, and two way ANOVA test. The results showed that different types of bait is not so affect the catch, the hook construction differences affect the catch Hand line and interaction between the bait the hook with the use of different constructs had no effect on the catch Hand line. Species of fish caught by fishing gear hand line overall during the study based on the percentage of the amount (kg), namely: Badong, pompano slim, large splotch trevally, pompano gargahing, but there were also fish the sergeant fish Badong fish were the most species of fish caught during the research that is equal to 64% of the 54 tail of the total catch

    Application of epoxy resin to make the kitchen tolls holder was investigated. Optimum compound of kitchen tools holder was reached for compound which it consist of epoxy resin : 100 parts, hardener 100 parts, carbon black 50 parts. Applied test in hot water show that the kitchen tools holder from research is better than the kitchen tools holder from markets. INTISARI Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan resin epoksi untuk pegangan alat-alat dapur. Formula kompon pegangan alat dapur yang optimum dicapai untuk kompon yang berisi resin epoksi 100 bagian, hardener 100 bagian, dan carbon black 50 bagian. Hasil uji pemakaian dalam air panas menunjukkan bahwa pegangan alat-alat dapur hasil penelitian lebih baik dibandingkan pegangan alat-alat dapur yang ada di pasaran
