Inhibition of mild steel corrosion in 2 M NaCl solution by tetracycline and neomycin trisulphate was studied using gravimetric, Fourier transformed infra red spectrophometry and scanning electron microscopy methods. Highest inhibition efficiencies were 82.90 and 75.10 % for tetracycline and neomycin trisulphate respectively. Inhibition efficiency was observed to increase with increase in the concentration of the inhibitor. Scanning electron micrographs of the metal surface reveals the formation of protective inhibitor’s films in the presence of the inhibitor while Fourier transform infra red spectra indicated that some functional groups were useful for the adsorption of the inhibitor on the metal surface. The adsorption behaviour of the inhibitors was best described by the Temkin and Frumkin adsorption isotherm. The adsorption of the inhibitor was spontaneous and supported physiosorption mechanis
Violence on Domesticity Women in Creations of Present-day Women Poets
Birth of human is a gift and that is why Auvaiyar says that giving birth as human being is a gift and it is rare. Both men and women are important in worldly life. Relationships are the main reason for the ups and downs in a society. In the beginning matriarchal society developed and later patriarchal society started and after this woman are not given equal freedom. Today’s world view women as an object who does all the household duties. Women are controlled by men. This runs like a formula that men to rule and women to nurture. Even today there are many beliefs like woman was created using a man’s rib, lord Easen gave half of his boy to create a woman. The article discusses about women’s responsibility of maintaining a home, bearing children, marital violence, family violence and in addition it describes how a woman can get her freedom and how she can be equally treated
A Study on Factors Influencing Investment Decisions of Retail Investors in VUCA World
In this paper, we seek to identify the factors influencing the investment decision of individual investors. Further, in the existing pandemic situation, which will cover the scope of the VUCA environment, it is important to understand the factors influencing investor’s investment decision. For this purpose, we used exploratory factor analysis to group the factors affecting an investor’s investment decision. Based on the findings, we identified four factors influencing investment preferences and the reliability of these factors are supported by strong statistical measure
INFLUENCE OF GRAM-NEGATIVE STRAIN KLEBSIELLA OXYTOCA ON BIOCORROSION
Several studies of biofilms must accept that biofilms may develop in an enormous number of environments. This biofilm forms colonization on the solid surfaces by extracellular polysaccharides (EPSs) secreted by the microbial cells. The EPSs secreted by microbial cell stimulate corrosion in the engineered materials due to the presence of polyanionic neutral macromolecules. Many techniques have been described measuring and inhibiting microbiologically influenced corrosion; however, none has been accepted as an industry standard. This is because the risks posed to the marine biosphere due to the use of antifouling inhibitors. Recently, a large amount of literature has been edited on the influence of toxic biocides on non-targeted organisms in the marine environment are most likely. It has been shown that the modifications of antifouling inhibitors by the non-toxic drugs can reduce microbial adhesion and some disentangle effects toward the environment. Hence, in this paper, the inhibition effect of neomycin trisulfate on the Klebsiella oxytoca on mild steel corrosion has been investigated using weight loss measurement, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). These studies have shown that neomycin trisulfate shows better inhibition toward the microbe. The agreement with the experimental data was also found to be satisfactory. Further, surface morphological examination through SEM confirms that the inhibitor inhibits the microbes by blocking the EP
Effect of random interactions in spin baths on decoherence
We study the decoherence of a central spin 1/2 induced by a spin bath with
intrabath interactions. Since we are interested in the cumulative effect of
interaction and disorder, we study baths comprising Ising spins with random
ferro- and antiferromagnetic interactions between the spins. Using the
resolvent operator method which goes beyond the standard Born-Markov master
equation approach, we show that, in the weak coupling regime, the decoherence
of the central spin at all times is entirely determined by the local-field
distribution or equivalently, the dynamical structure factor of the Ising bath.
We present analytic results for the Ising spin chain bath at arbitrary
temperature for different distributions of the intrabath interaction strengths.
We find clear evidence of non-Markovian behavior in the low temperature regime.
We also consider baths described by Ising models on higher-dimensional
lattices. We find that interactions lead to a significant reduction of the
decoherence. An important feature of interacting spinbaths is the saturation of
the asymptotic Markovian decay rate at high temperatures, as opposed to the
conventional Ohmic boson bath.Comment: 13 page
Householder Savings & Investment Behavior in Theni District
Investment of hard earned money is a crucial activity of every human being. Investment is one of the foremost concerns of every individual investor as their small savings of today is to meet the expenses of tomorrow. This study deals with investors\u27 preference of Shares, Debentures, Mutual fund, Bank deposits, and Life insurance, etc. Savings of the people are invested in assets depending on their risk and return demands, the safety of money, liquidity, the available avenues for investment, various financial institutions, etc. In a developing country like India, householder savings and investment is the major source of capital for economic activities. Hence, a study of investment behavior of households has to understand the level of knowledge of householders about investment. If the saving is low, then the investment will also be low leading to low capital formation. The present paper explains different reasons for savings, awareness level and the association between demographic factors and awareness level among householders of Theni district
College Student Attitude Towards Social Media
Communication is a key factor in today s world. The method that individual choose to communicate their message has an impact on the effectiveness of that message. It is essential to exchange ideas effectively for developing and sustaining relationship's the main purpose of every communication is to obtain some results, that is to secure action by the receivers. Know the top five commonly using social media among the students know the most influence the sources of information to use the social media. Identify the purpose of using social media. Give the suggestion, findings. Social media service plays a vital role in servers and users. Over the last years, people are more and involved in social media use and are interacting with each other on social media sites. The two social media sites. Companies are already using what's app as well as Facebook to interest with their college students about their products and services. The present study is only an attempt to know about the satisfaction of social media services in Theni District and it is observed that all the college students are satisfied with the functioning of social media services
Student Perception Towards Social Networking Site in Theni District
Social Networking Sites are getting more popular and it has become a vital part of our social life. New digital media have dramatically altered the communication landscape, especially for youth. Internet is a very powerful platform that has changed the way people do things. Social Networking Site is a wonderful innovation in the Internet age whereby people are interconnected in the global network society. Social media has a great effect on people\u27s lives and millions of students are spending many hours on social networking sites. As social media sites continue to grow in popularity, it is our premise that technology is a vital part of today\u27s student success equation. This study aims to investigate student\u27s perception towards Social Networking Sits in Theni District
