The studies prove that the idea of helpfulness and charity active part found in Poland is gradually increasing pace. Moreover, there were described and enumerated sectors of social and economical activity and their importance in the process of social inclusion of numerous help offering actions. A detailed characteristics was presented as an example of one of the best and the most thriving non-government organization in Poland called The Foundation of Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. There are references in the text to problematic and constantly these days the issue of refugees in the light of research based on volunteering, inclusion and assimilation actions, even though the term of isolation acts can be heard more often istead
Cyberbullying as a form of social and medial exclusion

The culture of gadget examined from the aspect of popular and consumerist culture
Praca recenzowanaThe article is supposed to introduce the issues of the culture of gadget as a consequence of mass and popular culture growth, civilization, technological and consumerism progress. There has been an attempt made to determine what gadgets are, how they influence people, how their owners are perceived by themselves and society opinion. It touches mainly building social status and self-esteem, creating identity or self-perception and opposed to public opinion. On one hand, gadgets may be associated with toys and objects to bring enjoyment while playing and fancy sharing with peers even for the fact of possessing them. However, they may become more than toys – a product of modern times, something which influences social status, allows for acceptance among peer group and simply fulfill the need of possessing the object. The article also gives examples of suggested gadget typology
Fast-degrading PLA/ORMOGLASS fibrous composite scaffold leads to a calcium-rich angiogenic environment
The success of scaffold implantation in acellular tissue engineering approaches relies on the ability of the material to interact properly with the biological environment. This behavior mainly depends on the design of the graft surface and, more precisely, on its capacity to biodegrade in a well-defined manner (nature of ions released, surface-to-volume ratio, dissolution profile of this release, rate of material resorption, and preservation of mechanical properties). The assessment of the biological behavior of temporary templates is therefore very important in tissue engineering, especially for composites, which usually exhibit complicated degradation behavior. Here, blended polylactic acid (PLA) calcium phosphate ORMOGLASS (organically modified glass) nanofibrous mats have been incubated up to 4 weeks in physiological simulated conditions, and their morphological, topographical, and chemical changes have been investigated. The results showed that a significant loss of inorganic phase occurred at the beginning of the immersion and the ORMOGLASS maintained a stable composition afterward throughout the degradation period. As a whole, the nanostructured scaffolds underwent fast and heterogeneous degradation. This study reveals that an angiogenic calcium-rich environment can be achieved through fast-degrading ORMOGLASS/PLA blended fibers, which seems to be an excellent alternative for guided bone regeneration

Scouting as an element of education oriented towards the challenges of upbringing of young people in the 21st century
11th International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation
Dates: 12th-14th November, 2018. Location: Seville, SPAINThe aim of this article is to present the tradition and methods of scouting used in upbringing of young people in the 21st century. The fundamental principles of the scouting movement are “duty to God”, “duty to our neighbour” and “duty to ourselves”. The first principle relates to man’s attitude towards spiritual values, the second one to his attitude towards the society, and the third one to the duties man has in relation to himself. In the study the Author described the Polish Scouting and its traditions. He also sketched the history of scouting used in the contemporary social education of young people (including the struggle for independence carried on by Polish scouts (Polish: harcerze)).
The scouting method and tradition as a way of relieving civilizational problems affecting young people nowadays were outlined. They involve using traditional methods in upbringing such as survival, and diminishing the role of electronic gadgets.
The Author enlarged also on the problems of social education – describing the role of the voluntary service scouts provide and the system of education of young people. Finally, he touched upon the internationalisation of the movement as a response to the challenges to education in the global village. Link to abstract: file:///G:/files/abstracts/1617.ht
A novel hybrid nanofibrous strategy to target progenitor cells for cost-effective in situ angiogenesis
Although the impact of composites based on Ti-doped calcium phosphate glasses is low compared with that of bioglass, they have been already shown to possess great potential for bone tissue engineering. Composites made of polylactic acid (PLA) and a microparticle glass of 5TiO(2)-44.5CaO-44.5P(2)O(5)-6Na(2)O (G5) molar ratio have already demonstrated in situ osteo-and angiogenesis-triggering abilities. As many of the hybrid materials currently developed usually promote osteogenesis but still lack the ability to induce vascularization, a G5/PLA combination is a cost-effective option for obtaining new instructive scaffolds. In this study, nanostructured PLA-ORMOGLASS (organically modified glass) fibers were produced by electro-spinning, in order to fabricate extra-cellular matrix (ECM)-like substrates that simultaneously promote bone formation and vascularization. Physical-chemical and surface characterization and tensile tests demonstrated that the obtained scaffolds exhibited homogeneous morphology, higher hydrophilicity and enhanced mechanical properties than pure PLA. In vitro assays with rat mesenchymal stem cells (rMSCs) and rat endothelial progenitor cells (rEPCs) also showed that rMSCs attached and proliferated on the materials influenced by the calcium content in the environment. In vivo assays showed that hybrid composite PLA-ORMOGLASS fibers were able to promote the formation of blood vessels. Thus, these novel fibers are a valid option for the design of functional materials for tissue engineering applications
University Students Practising towards Teacher’s Profession in Poland, Latvia and Belarus – Motives and Educational Aspirations Found among Generation ‘Z’
Education together with its accompanying plans and hopes becomes a significant element of designing process shaped by an individual and referred to his future career. Motives which determine the decision of taking up higher education training, university course and gaining knowledge significantly determine life realizations, young people’s future jobs and their careerchoice. The following monograph focuses on motives and educational aspirations of students representing generation ‘Z’, who have taken up their studies at the departments of education in Poland, Latvia and Belarus. During the research it was aimed to look for an answerto the following questions: what criteria influenced the students’ choice about the university course? What were their motives to gain higher education? How the respondents estimated their knowledge and skills? How much time do university students spend on studying and how they fill up their free time? How do they perceive current education? What factors allow achievement of their educational aspirations and what attitudes about the future are presented by the students? What, according to the respondents, limits educational development and gaining knowledge? Finally, what are the obstacles in implementing personal plans related to education? The research was conducted among the group of 246 university students. The studyfollowed a diagnostic survey method supported by the author based auditorial questionnaire survey. The thorough analysis was made with the use of SPSS programme. In spite of revealed differences, generally, the research results regarding educational aspirationsof generation ‘Z’ present the examined group as optimists who appreciate their self-development. Mainly it is their personal interests which influences their choice of university studies at educational departments. The studies do not mean social prestige for the examinedand therefore, they rather reject the stereotype of being a good student. They are flexible and combine university course with work which is supposed to be their passion. This circle of students mainly praise quick action and practical solutions, still looking ahead towards future even if they are aware of the fact that the studies do not guarantee an employment inteacher’s profession
Miejsce mediów lokalnych w internetowej rzeczywistości
In the opinion of the author, the internet becomes more and more local. The internet is the not only tool of communicating, but also space of accumulating, passing on and the meeting the most different contents. Those the market of variety is the perfect opportunity to appearing and the exit of local media the pose the own area of activity. It is also a place to seek a new formula of operation. The space local media co-creates the space global media, with the same influencing on mediumistic shape of world at all. In large of the part thanks to internet, we get to know the different cultures, men, interesting corners of world, region, or the closest neighborhood. internet permits to get to know in interesting us local colour of given place, that genius loci and to acquaint with him. The social enterprise, local initiatives or the actions of different kind, they have chances to meet with wider interest thanks to internet just. internet this is tool which men's can distribute or to unite. However it with certainty brings closer under every figure, resulting with local traditions the and conditioning, prejudices, fears, stereotypes, variety but also the curiosity, educational needs of, spiritual, denominational, franknesses in cognition in culture the changes and the man's behaviours. The article contains the benefit of local media presence in the virtual space.
