    This report presents in graphic and tabular forms the aerodynamic coefficient and surface pressure distribution data for a NASA SC(2)-0714 airfoil tested in the Langley 0.3-Meter Transonic Cryogenic Tunnel. The test was another in a series of tests involved in the joint NASA/U.S. Industry Advanced Technology Airfoil Tests program. This 14% thick supercritical airfoil was tested at Mach numbers from 0.6 to 0.76 and angles of attack from -2.0 to 6.0 degrees.     In this article, the authors describe how Open Architecture Curricular Design is a preferable strategy to fixed Business English curricula offered by traditional providers such as Cambridge English and Berlitz. The authors cite three cases in which OACD, used in blended learning platforms, makes language learning effective. They include (1) Online Safety English, a program designed for nonnative English-speaking agribusiness employees; (2) Boardroom English® designed for senior corporate executives; and (3) The Business Trip, a virtual reality unit designed for the needs of corporations who send their employees abroad.     COMPENSATORY CONDITION OF SEVERAL MEASURES IN FRIESS HOLLAND DAIRY CATTLE AT TAMPUSU ANIMAL FEED AND SEED DEVELOPMENT CENTER. This study was conducted to assess the compensatory condition of some body sizes of Friess Holland Dairy Cattle at Tampusu Animal Feed and Seed Development Center. Animals used in this study were 23 Friesian Fries Holland (FH) dairy cattle at aged of 7 months to 7 years old using a comparative descriptive research method by comparing the same variables for different samples and using the t-test. Research was done by measuring body weight, chest circumference, shoulder’s height and body length. The maintenance of animals was using a double cage head to head. Feeds given were using forages of 10% / head / day from body weight. Concentrate was fed about 2 kg / head / day. Dairy cows in Tampusu have an average body weight of 401.533 ± 39.47 Kg with a varince coefficient value of  9.8%, an average chest circumference of 174.12 ± 11.15 cm with a varience coefficient value of 6.4%, average shoulder height 136.47 ± 9.16 cm with a variance coefficient value of 6.7%, average body length 139.39 ± 9.56 vm with a variance coefficient of 6.8%. Based on these results, the compensatory condition friess holland dairy cattle at tampusu animal feed and seed development center was increase   body weight of 11.6%, chest circumference 6.28% and shoulder height of 6.65%. Keywords: Compensatory condition, body measurements, Friess Holland Dairy Cattl

    GAMBARAN PERILAKU MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 19 (COVID-19) DI DESA MALAT UTARA KECAMATAN GEMEH KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN TALAUD

    Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Peningkatan terhadap jumlah kasus terinfeksi COVID-19 ini tentunya dipengaruhi oleh perilaku kesehatan dari masyarakat dalam pencegahan COVID-19. Perilaku diukur melalui pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan atau praktek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakat masyarakat terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 di Desa Malat Utara Kecamatan Gemeh Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Oktober 2020. Besaran sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebesar 79 sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling dengan memperhatikan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kuesioner tentang gambaran perilaku masyarakat terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 yang telah di uji validasi dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku masyarakat terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 berada pada kategori baik. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil survei deskriptif mengenai pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan masyarakat terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 dimana persentasi responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan baik terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 sebesar 96,2%, persentase sikap responden yang menyatakan respon positif dan baik terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 sebesar 97,5%, dan persentasi responden yang melakukan tindakan pencegahan COVID-19 sebesar 73,4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Malat Utara Kecamatan Gemeh Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku masyarakat terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 di Desa Malat Utara Kecamatan Gemeh Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud berada pada kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Perilaku, Pengetahuan, Sikap, Tindakan, Pencegahan COVID-19 ABSTRACTCorona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The increase in the number of cases infected with COVID-19 is certainly influenced by public health behavior in the prevention of COVID-19. Behaviors measured through knowledge, attitudes, and actions or practices. The purpose of this research is to describe the descriptions of knowledge, attitudes, and action of the community towards the prevention of COVID-19 in the Village of North Malat Gemeh District Talaud Islands Regency. This research uses a type of descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted in September-October 2020. The sample amount in this study was 79 samples. Sampling techniques in this study use accidental sampling by paying attention to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The measuring instrument used in this study is using a questionnaire about the description of people's behavior towards COVID-19 prevention that has been tested for validation and reliability. The results of this study show that people's behavior towards COVID-19 prevention is in a good category. These results can be seen based on the results of a descriptive survey on public knowledge, attitudes, and actions towards COVID-19 prevention where the percentage of respondents with a good level of knowledge towards COVID-19 prevention is 96.2%, the percentage of respondents who expressed a positive and good response to COVID-19 prevention is 97.5%, and the percentage of respondents who take COVID-19 precautions is 73.4%. Based on the results of this study shows that the people of North Malat Village, Gemeh District, Talaud Islands Regency have good knowledge, attitude, and action. Therefore, it can be concluded that the behavior of the community towards the prevention of COVID-19 in north Malat Village, Gemeh District, Talaud Islands Regency is in a good category. Keyword: Behavior, Knowledge, Attitudes, Actions, Prevention of COVID-1

    Transesterification of sago starch and waste palm cooking oil in densified CO<sub>2</sub>

    In this work, the synthesis of biodegradable and yet renewable thermoplastics materials through a transesterification reaction of sago starch and waste palm cooking oil (WPO) in densified CO2 as the solvent is reported. The aim of this research is to investigate the potential used of sago starch and WPO as raw materials in the thermoplastics starch synthesis. The starch esters was successfully synthesized using sago starch and WPO as reagent in densified CO2 as shown from the presence of carbonyl group (C=O, 1743 cm-1) in the FT-IR spectra coupled with the presence of the proton (1H-NMR) of the fatty acid in the starch backbone (0.8 - 2 ppm). The product crystallinity decreases as shown in XRD results and resulting with a change in the thermal properties (melting and crystalline temperature) of the products. In addition, the products show a different granular morphology and a higher hydrophobicity compared with native sago starch. This research shows the potential used of sago starch and WPO in the thermoplastics starch synthesis and opens a new perspective on the product application

    NILAI KUAT TARIK BELAH BETON DENGAN VARIASI UKURAN DIMENSI BENDA UJI

    Kuat tarik belah adalah salah satu parameter penting kekuatan beton. Nilai kuat tarik belah diperoleh melalui pengujian tekan di laboratorium dengan membebani setiap benda uji silinder secara lateral sampai pada kekuatan maksimumnya. Pengujian dapat dilakukan pada skala tertentu dengan berbagai kondisi, jenis, beban maupun ukuran benda uji. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran benda uji terhadap kekuatan tarik belah beton. Dimensi benda uji silinder divariasikan dalam 4 ukuran: 7,5/15 cm, 10/20 cm, 12,5/25 cm, dan 15/30 cm. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin uji “Semiautomatic Concrete Compression Testing 400 kN Cap. Controls – Italy 50-C6632”. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semakin kecil dimensi benda uji semakin besar nilai kuat tarik belah beton. Untuk benda uji terkecil yaitu silinder 7,5/15 cm hasil kuat tariknya mengalami penurunan sehingga tidak sesuai dengan teori size effect. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perbandingan rasio diameter benda uji dan diameter maksimum agregat dan juga oleh arah pembebanan terhadap arah pengecoran. Kekuatan beton sangat dipengaruhi oleh perbandingan penampang dengan ukuran maksimum agregat. semakin kecil rasio ukuran penampang terhadap ukuran maksimum agregat maka semakin kecil pula nilai kekuatan beton yang dihasilkan.
