Hyperon-nucleon coupling from QCD sum rules
The NKY coupling constant for and is evaluated in a
QCD sum rule calculation. We discuss and extend the result of a previous
analysis in the structure and compare it with the result
obtained with the use of the structure. We find a
huge violation of the SU(3) symmetry in the
structure.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures, espcrc2.sty included. Talk presented at QCD99,

and form factors from QCD Sum Rules
The form factor for H = B and D mesons is evaluated in a QCD sum
rule calculation. We study the Borel sum rule for the three point function of
two pseudoscalar and one vector meson currents up to order four in the operator
product expansion. The double Borel transform is performed with respect to the
heavy meson momenta. We discuss the momentum dependence of the form factors and
two different approaches to extract the coupling constant.Comment: 12 pages, RevTeX including 6 figures in ps files, revised version

Compliance with COVID-19 Mitigation Measures in the United States
The COVID-19 mitigation measures require a fundamental shift in human behavior. The present study assesses what factors influence Americans to comply with the stay at home and social distancing measures. It analyzes data from an online survey, conducted on April 3, 2020, of 570 participants from 35 states that have adopted such measures. The results show that while perceptual deterrence was not associated with compliance, people actually comply less when they fear the authorities. Further, two broad processes promote compliance. First, compliance depended on people’s capacity to obey the rules, opportunity to break the rules, and self-control. As such, compliance results from their own personal abilities and the context in which they live. Second, compliance depended on people’s intrinsic motivations, including substantive moral support and social norms. This paper discusses the implications of these findings for ensuring compliance to effectively mitigate the virus
Cellular therapies in organ transplantation
Cellular therapy is a promising tool for improving the outcome of organ transplantation. Various cell types with different immunoregulatory and regenerative properties may find application for specific transplant rejection or injury-related indications. The current era is crucial for the development of cellular therapies. Preclinical models have demonstrated the feasibility of efficacious cell therapy in transplantation, early clinical trials have shown safety of several of these therapies, and the first steps towards efficacy studies in humans have been made. In this review, we address the current state of the art of cellular therapies in clinical transplantation and discuss monitoring tools and endpoints for these studies
Progress in the determination of the cross section
Improving previous calculations, we compute the cross section using QCD sum rules. Our sum rules for the , , and hadronic
matrix elements are constructed by using vaccum-pion correlation functions, and
we work up to twist-4 in the soft-pion limit. Our results suggest that, using
meson exchange models is perfectly acceptable, provided that they include form
factors and that they respect chiral symmetry. After doing a thermal average we
get mb at T=150\MeV.Comment: 22 pages, RevTeX4 including 7 figures in ps file
Learn 2 Move 16-24: Effectiveness of an intervention to stimulate physical activity and improve physical fitness of adolescents and young adults with spastic cerebral palsy; a randomized controlled trial
Background: Persons with cerebral palsy (CP) are at risk for developing an inactive lifestyle and often have poor fitness levels, which may lead to secondary health complications and diminished participation and quality of life. However, persons with CP also tend not to receive structural treatment to improve physical activity and fitness in adolescence, which is precisely the period when adult physical activity patterns are established. Methods: We aim to include 60 adolescents and young adults (16-24 ye
