Entanglement in tripartitions of topological orders: a diagrammatic approach

Recent studies have demonstrated that measures of tripartite entanglement can probe data characterizing topologically ordered phases to which bipartite entanglement is insensitive. Motivated by these observations, we compute the reflected entropy and logarithmic negativity, a mixed state entanglement measure, in tripartitions of bosonic topological orders using the anyon diagrammatic formalism. We consider tripartitions in which three subregions meet at trijunctions and tetrajunctions. In the former case, we find a contribution to the negativity which distinguishes between Abelian and non-Abelian order while in the latter, we find a distinct universal contribution to the reflected entropy. Finally, we demonstrate that the negativity and reflected entropy are sensitive to the $F$-symbols for configurations in which we insert an anyon trimer, for which the Markov gap, defined as the difference between the reflected entropy and mutual information, is also found to be non-vanishing.Comment: v2: updated references; v3: updated references, corrected typos and notatio

The Socio-technical Balanced Scorecard: A Framework for Assessing a Public University

The socio-technical theory is concerned with human well-being; it is democratic, humanistic and provides both freedom and knowledge to those who are part of it. Balanced scorecard is an approach that assesses whether the organization is meeting its objectives in terms of vision and strategy. It measures four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes and innovation & learning. Although the balanced scorecard has proven to be fruitful in the for-profit organizations of the past, most non-profit organizations had difficulty applying the balanced scorecard. The original configuration of balanced scorecard placed financial goals on the top of the hierarchy and since maximizing shareholder wealth is not the main objective for most non-profit organizations, it was not widely applied by these organizations. As non-profit organizations commonly operate on humanistic welfare paradigm and well-being of the society, the ideas of socio-technical work design may receive a greater acceptance in these organizations than in for-profit organizations. Hence, a socio-technical balanced scorecard for the non-profit organizations will be developed with an emphasis on employee perspective. More specifically, a public university wide assessment will be proposed in this paper

Intraoperative Optical Coherence Tomography-Guided Bleb-sparing Epithelial Exchange: A Modified Approach

With the advent of newer technologies, real-time anterior segment optical coherence tomography (OCT) integrated with the operating microscope has become possible. We are proposing the technique of bleb revision with greater precision under direct visualization of bleb anatomy and extent of tissue depth allowing better localization and easy maneuvering with lesser complications. In this surgical technique, bleb revision was performed using intraoperative real-time OCT incorporated in OPMI LUMERA 700 microscope. Live surgical and OCT view were seen on a common screen together. A moderately elevated, diffuse functional bleb was noted after three months of bleb revision in both cases with controlled intraocular pressure. Intraoperative OCT-guided bleb-sparing epithelial exchange is an adjunctive technique for bleb repair surgery with an increased precision of surgery which can reduce complications, minimize surgical time and maximize surgical outcome
